Hey. I was prescribed Roaccutane for severe Back and Chest acne in 2002. It improved both but to this day I still have active acne on my chest and shoulders. After taking Roaccutane I had lots of little white bumps appear over my chest/shoulders etc but they are not a major problem. I workout with weights so I know testosterone levels are higher & I should be a hairy beast but the hairs cannot come through on the upper part of my chest or back at all - just the odd ones here or there etc. However I do not experience those horrible weeping sores I used to get pre-roaccutane.
I am now seriously looking at BP and other regimens on this site however this can be a bit of a struggle in the UK as we dont appear to have alot of the products you guys in the USA have. Anyway I am sick off doing nothing about skin so hopefully I can conquer this. Hopefully my pics will make some of you feel a bit better about your situation. I always felt I had it pretty severe so have basically avoided swimming, getting naked in the changing rooms etc (not always at bad thing lol) as you can see lots of white bumps and scarring so not a pretty picture. A tan definitely would not go a miss either !! Back pic to follow shortly. |
