Hi,
I've been on Diane 35 for 5 weeks now. Let me tell, u I broke out soooooo badly the first 2 weeks. Then I even found out that I have severe allergies to grass and trees so that was also contributing to my breakout. LUCKY ME Thanks |

I'm thinking of going on it since Ortho Tri-cyclen hasn't really been helpful.
Probably next week. I'm not sure how well it works though. |

You know............I don't know how to react to this pill because obviously everyone is different. There are people who have no side effects and others that experience a good majority. I had none.
This is my 5th week on Diane 35, I have 3 new scabs b/c I picked and a whole bunch of little pimples on my cheeks and chin. I would rather however have little pimples then big, ugly cysts but it's my fault with the scabs. I can't help touching my face. I'm like a little kid. Anyways, does anyone know a good cream that can help to get rid of scars? Any imput is sooo appreciated. |

well, i was on it for 5 months. it helped a bit, but i was still getting cysts that scar. so i am now on accutane. i'm so dry lol!! diane was pricey and i don't know how well it helped. I was also really sick of getting scars for every pimple, so I went on accutane. And the other reason was because I've heard a lot of people say they're clear on it while they're taking it, but once they come off, it's back to the same thing.
if you have any specific questions, just PM me. I'd be happy to help!! P.S: do you mean red marks or actual scars? coz i would say no creams will help scars, but there are many things to help with the hyperpigmentation (red marks). |

Hi, My scars are more brownish then red. U know as much as I love sunny days. On these days, the sun shows all my imperfections. I think eventually I might do microdermabrasion or something to help fade these ugly things. I honestly need to stop picking my face. I should just tie my hands behind my back...... |

Just finished week 6. I've notice a slight improvement in my skin. Although, I thought I was finally clearing and 3 new ones appeared. I'm hoping they will disapper by tomorrow. My doctor said I should start seeing results in 6-8 weeks. Well, tomorrow is week 7 and like I said I see slight improvements. Thank GOD I'm not doing the major breakout out any more (I hope I didn't jinx myself by typing that). My scars are slightly fading as well. So hopefully, this is the beginning of clearer skin

Updating u on my lovely acne journey.....
This marks week 7, so it's my pms week. Yippi for me, I can already feel a breakout coming. 4 sure I'm due for a few big ones. Anyways, I was in Yorkdale this morning with my mom and I went to the body shop. While in there I was inquiring about Tea Tree oil, to see if it was any good. She said no b.c it dry out the skin. Then she replied that my face looks fine. She doesn't see a breakout. It just a little dry around the acne scabs. WHen I heard that I was like |

I sooo jinxed myself. Today was the first day in 2 months that I held my head up high and I was okay with the scars on my face. A collegue even mention that I've been looking better.

Aw, I know just how you feel.
Hey, what are you using on your face? I think you can use BP/SA etc while you're on Diane-35. So at least you could spot-treat those zits. |

Entering week 8. Well, this week, all u saw were my ugly brownish scars. I had 2 pms zits which were a given because of the time of the month. But the good thing is that they were small. I've noticed lately I have a lot more black heads and small bumps, that never seem to disappear. I'll take those over ugly big zits any day. My collegues at work see an improvement in my skin as well. So hopefully the scars will fade and my zits will decrease. I guess only time will tell. The thing that I've been realizing is that sometimes we are our worst critics what we may preceive as disgusting might not all be that bad.

excellent, toz, I'm glad your skin is looking better. If I recall, that is approximately how my skin was while on Diane. I always broke out a little right before my period.
The scars will fade with time (I guess they're not indented?) and you can easily cover them with concealer. I use MAC. |

If you have cystic acne, I would suggest looking into accutane. Diane isn't an all that safe drug. You should do an internet search on it.
Good luck, GO

Good luck, GO I don't get a lot of cystic acne. I did when I first started with Diane. I know that by using this b/p there is an increase in the chance of getting blood clots. So as a result I visit my dr every 3 months and she checks me out. So far the only side effects on this pill are a little weight gain and a big breakout. But thankfully, it seems like I lost the weight and the big breakout has become scars |
