Ok, bit of background first, I started the DKR back in March of last year and kept with it till the Summer. I then stopped to try all sorts of ridiculous pills, bowel movements, hot water treatments and the like before reutrning to DKR on Christmas day. Before this I had not really thought my face was clear or even close to it, but comparing photos to when I was off DKR to when I was on it, showed a significant difference.

So on my second go I decided to keep pictures of my progress to see if the DKR really worked. And here are the results; it does! biggrin.gif

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530010.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530011.jpg

Here are all my starting pics, fit aren't I? Bear in mind for the first month I only used the standard DKR, no Sudocrem.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530015.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530014.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530017.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530016.jpg

It was only a few days before January 27th that I used Sudocrem. As you can see it made my face VERY red at first. But I persevered and now it is fine. Let me almost make the point, with that hilariously red face I still went to a party and pulled. Acne does NOT make it hard to date women. At all. (I was 17 here by the way)

So here I am at almost 3 months in, and the improvement is huge. I hadn't applied BP for a few days at this point, yeah I got lazy, hence the few spots. I had been out drinking, so sue me. But the pount is, consistently applying it had my face almost clear.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530028.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530027.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/sha...01/SD530026.jpg

And here we are today, and not a spot in sight. Ok, I still have red marks, but whatever man, few people have perfect complexion. Believe me I serve 1000 people a day, see thousands of faces, having a few red marks is nothing to even think about. I'm just enjoying my acne free face. tongue.gif

WARNING: Just because my face cleared in this time period, does not mean yours will. My acne is hereditary and largely hormonal. However, I have tried so many stupid and expensive methods of acne treatment; chemical peels, evening primrose oil, borage oil, fasting (I fasted, no food, for five days, does not help acne at all) and BP is the only one that works for me. So stick to it, there were times when I wanted to quit and thought my face looked liked shit, but if you stop, you will never get there. Keep on truckin', not matter how long it takes.

Peace.

Looking good!
------------
Type of acne: Mild to Moderate
At my worst: Moderate inflammatory acne. Approx 15-20 large papules & pustules, & the occasional cyst. Very oily & slightly sensitive skin with large pores & many dark red marks.

Current Status: No inflamed pimples, less clogged nose pores & "bumpy" comedal acne on chin, few redmarks, less oily

Skin Regimen:
Morning:
Cetaphil (normal to oily skin) or Acne.org facewash
Acne.org AHA lotion
Acne.org moisturizer
Everyday Minerals foundation

Night:
Cetaphil (normal to oily skin) or Acne.org facewash
0.1% Tretinoin cream (retin-a)
Acne.org moisturizer (if skin is dry)

Take Daily:
1 Solaray brand Niacinamide tablet (500 mg)
1 Coromega brand Omega 3 squeeze packet (2000 mg fish oil)
3 Nature's Way brand Boswellia extract tablets (65% boswellic acids)

Boswelia is working great for me!

Sharpshot,
Would you mind putting your pics up in the DKR gallery?
I'm sure they would be a great source of encouragement to others.

One can never be 100% sure acne has gone while on medications that are keeping us clear. The only way to find out is the hard way and that is to stop treatment.

***k that, I'll just do The Regimen till I die.
