Hi, i've only posted once before on this board but that was to just explain how much better my acne was from the regimen. But what i want to know is can anyone help me with my skin by way of new routine for my current situation?
I have attached pictures to this post so you can see my skin. I have rosacea and experience flare ups of red marks around the tops of my cheeks when stressed, also, i have very oily skin especially on my forehead and the sections on either side of the nose and under the eyes. I do experience whiteheads at times but i use the regimen (or my own store bought edition for that). The reason is because i can't afford the Daniel Kern products due to the $50 shipping to ireland on all orders. I use a nivea for men extra soothing face wash, panoxyl 5% benzoyl perozide and the eucerin replenishing face cream with urea, day and night versions of both. I want to know if a personalised regimen could be made up for me, to cater for my oily skin with rosacea. I know the products i use may be a problem but i'm desperate as i've had bad skin for nearly 7 years now. I'm on a drug called by-mycin for the rosacea at the moment on the doctor's advice to reduce inflammation and i take cod liver oil capsules every day. The real trouble is not only am i stuck with a red face in nearly EVERY social encounter, i have to deal with an almost miraculous shine on it as well... So please any help would be appreciated as i'm so sick of wanting to stay out of photographs!

Hi! i'm from ireland just stumbled across this site not too long ago. Can't believe i didn't find it earlier i mean the site is called ACNE.org! It really should be advertised more!
Anyway i have suffered from acne since the age of 13 and i'm now 17 and only now things are beginning to look up! I mean nowadays, no one should have to live through acne and i feel sorry for all of us really! I've tried it all really: I was at first on the usual over the coutner things like clearasil and all those T.V products like Freederm. After having my skin for the most part burnt off! i decided to try topicals prescribed by a doctor! I tried a thing called differin, which is in fact 10% benzoyl peroxide. Once again i can see how it would eliminate spots, but my god the irritation was unreal! which of course only made the situation worse! anyway after trying many similar prescriptions and lotions, tonics, and just about every health store ''miracle'' i could find. SO! i decided to give oral antibiotics a go and tried bymycin which is an anti inflammatory. Now i should point out that my acne... wasn't SEVERE. i have NEVER had a cyst or large pustule. What dominates my face is WHITEHEADS! and trust me the picking at them makes it worse! (Don't listen to your mother saying they should be removed from the skin yourself!) but anyway the antibiotics. Yes, it did help MINUTELY, but not to the extent that there was STILL underlying red marks and bumps of acne on my face which on my opinion is worse! because of the many different colours on your face. So here we go, after a whorde of antibotics...(literally 10 or 11), i was referred to a dermatologist (oh the joy at last!) and i was given the miracle drug, ACCUTANE, or in ireland ROACCUTANE (the ro' is simply because it is manufactured by ROCHE). My skin cleared amazingly. As the creator of this site himself described it, the confidence from it was incredible, clear skin and i mean CLEAR. unfortunatly then there was the relapse once i came off it... So a second course was in order!!! then there was the relapse again... So a third course! and it was clear to a good standard but i knew to keep my skin under control i needed a routine. ACNE.ORG regimen. I am recommending it to all of you right now. I live in Ireland and the postage costs 40 dollars! more than the products i ordered! but by god the improvement is fantastic in only 4 weeks of use. By week 8 i hope to be well on the way to that perfection and then i can just use the regimen the odd time...just to keep everything under control without having to stress to much over skincare anymore. So...Here are the products that suit my face. The Acne.org Treatment The Acne.org Cleanser The Acne.org Moisturizer Jojoba Oil from a healthstore Vitamin E cream as a moisturizer (it repairs skin cells) Nivea for men's sensitive shaving cream, (nothing else just the shaving cream) Thats pretty much what i go by now religiously and things are looking great. Hope this helps anyone going through all the hassle i went through, cause i found most acne sufferers have the nodules, pustules, cysts etc. whereas mabye your like me and just got whiteheads! Hope it all works out for the best! and thanks Dan for the effort you put into all this! |
