I heard somewhere that if you have acne on your forehead, it signifies that you have bowel problems. Is this true? If so, that's really embarrassing that just by looking at my face someone can tell I have bowel problems.

-- I decided to make a new thread about this because my other one got full of junk. Any mods, feel free to delete or lock my other thread entitled "Salt water cleanse". --

This morning I did the salt water cleanse (also known as the salt water FLUSH). I put 1 teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt in EACH 2 bottles of .5 L room temperature water and drank them both within 10-20 minutes.

Like the instructions said, within an hour I was going to the bathroom. For the next hour, or over an hour, I have been making several trips to the bathroom. Nothing is solid, it is mostly brown water and to put it nicely...I am basically peeing out of my butt (lovely), and that is exactly what is suppose to happen.

I do not know how long I should do this cleanse, so I registered at a different forum specializing in this thing and asked them.

So, it worked! Purdy cool, but I don't know what to expect if I plan on doing this more. I am going to take it easy on the food for today.

I will update this thread periodically, and I will take note of if it is doing anything to help my acne or overall health.

Which is better:

Cetaphil daily cleanser for normal to oily skin, or the Cetaphil cleanser for all skin types?

Pick one and tell me why smile.gif Also, do they both look the same?

Has anyone done a salt water cleanse?

Basically you take a quart of water, add 2 teaspoons of sea salt and drink it, and apparently it cleans you from top to bottom.

This seems really easy and I am interested in trying this because I am constipated all the time (Boooo).

Is this an unsafe thing to try?

I am also confused because some websites recommend you using a laxative or enema before doing this cleanse to "clean you out", but if you are constipated and doing the salt water cleanse to clean yourself out, what is this pre-cleansing for?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but it works great! This will not cure acne, it will only take away the redness temporarily.

Put some drops of Visine or any eye drop with redness reliever on a small folded piece of toilet paper or paper towel, put it on your zit for 5 minutes or less, and take it off and your zit won't be red anymore!

I do this all the time.
