I use 40% lactic acid peel once a week and ive never had any problems its been improving the texture of my skin and lightening old marks. However I recently started using retin A micro because my doctor said its "okay" in terms of evening out skin tone and lightening marks as well although using it for the past week I haven't experienced and peeling or tingling or dryness with the product perhaps my skin is resistant to it (o.1%) Anyways last night I used my lactic acid and for some of the areas where I had applied retin A the night before (I also use benzoyl peroxide at night on other areas) those areas turned red and sunburn like and this pimple I had was burned off and now its very red there where the pimple used to be and it wont stop oozing this clear liquid like water. It's been like this since last night. Is there any way to stop the liquid? I applied st. ives alpha beta hydroxy moisturing cream with aloe vera onto it hoping it would stop it last night but when I woke up this morning it was a big yellow scab and when I washed my face it came off and once again the areas very red and the liquid keeps pouring out. Yes, this is gross I know sad.gif

I don't wear a lot of makeup. I've been using Marcelle's two in one powder and I dab very little dermablend on my cheeks wherever there are scars. My problem is that my skin is extremely oily and it doesn't matter what type of foundation or powder I use it always easily slides off if someone touches my face which is gross. I always have retarded friends and people who like to pinch my cheeks. I'm 19 so this is something that I absolutely hate especially since I know my makeup will come off in their hands somewhat. I can't figure out how to control this. I only wear two in one so why does my makeup still slide off so easily? Help please. Should I start using one of those products by neutrogena that control oil and shine?

I got this product from L'oreal it's a vitamin e moisturizer called future e and for some reason it's flaking off the top layers of my skin.
I have minor scarring that was bad last year but its improved quite dramatically during the past couple of months. My skin's evening out quite a bit and the scars are very faint now. It could be because of the moisturizer but I've had scars twice before as I've mentioned on here and they always fade and even out within 14 months so that might be it as well and it's been eleven months so far.
Anyways I'm curious to know of anyone else that has used vitamin e moisturizer and had the same reaction to it with their skin peeling? Loreal and neutrogena moisturizers have also caused my skin to burn as well as giving me this sunburnt look which disappears with continued usage of the product.
I should also point out that I have extremely oily skin. None of my friends or acquaintances have skin like mine. Probably one of the reason why my skin scars easily and I wind up with shallow scars. I wonder if having oily skin helps your skin heal as well because a lot of my shallow scars that I thought would never disappear are disappearing.

My mom went to pick some proactive up for me because I was all out. There's this store in the mall by my house that sells products that are seen on tv. Anyways the lady that works there said that proactive has been banned in Canada as three people have been discovered to have some type of skin cancer. I suspect it's coincidence but I could be wrong. Just thought I should let people know.
