At first it is clear that some tissue is missing after the inflammation. The body created some scar tissue instead of the healthy one. My Questions: Where is the scar tissue or rather which layers of the skin are affected(Dermis, Dermis+Epidermis...)? What would happen if something removes this fibrotic tissue( like Dermaroller,Fraxel) Would the hole scar tissue+lost tissue be replaced by healthy skin so that the skin is leveled up as to the same degree like the remained healthy skin or only the scar tissue and pit remains? Can anybody explain it please? Thanks. Btw. I know my english is not perfect rolleyes.gif

Today I got my "Dr. Roller" dermaroller to treat my atrophic acne scars in the face. I'm cautious and so I will start to use a dermaroller with 0.5 mm needle length. The company, which sold me this thing mentioned on their homepage that the roller is useable over a period of 6 months but the manual mentioned only one time use. So does anybody know how long/often can I really use the dermaroller? What is the best method to disinfect the roller? Thanks for your answers.
