This actually does make me feel better. Not because I want to point and laugh at celebrities with acne, because it makes me feel more like a normal human being. It makes me realize that hey, not everyone is perfect and that's how it should be. I like knowing that people have similar problems because it makes me feel less like an outsider.
-Sarah QUOTE(Sunnygirl @ Jul 15 2006, 04:49 PM) I don't know if that's just a bad picture or what, but it looks like Alicia has a hairy chest. I wouldn't say it's HAIRY, but I would say she -has hair- on her chest. We all do, we have hair everywhere, though some is darker or lighter or whatever. It comes with being a mammal, and well, shouldn't actually be looked at as a bad thing. Media just hypes it up that way.

it's not to mock celebs, just to show us peeps that it doesn't matter how rich or famous you are - acne can still affect your life.

hah thx for the compliment im just spitting out the truth.
too many celebs have acne... and i think ignorant clear ppl should recognize that money and other stuff does not cure acne. acne is acne .. its too freaking invincible. and to let me know that its not because acne sufferers dont bother about their face. If only they can only be a lil more enlightened out lives will be alot better in public.

I hear Kate Moss has it too but can't find the pictures ... The celebs are super elusive, apparently. I think we should tell Dan that we want to start a little side database of celebs pics and start searching high and low for everyone. They can't hide forever. It could be the first complete and humbling database of prominent people who suffer, instead of these little broken bits of "collections" here and there. I think it would be great!

that big close up on page two makes me shiver and the acne isnt even that bad. i wish we could see the whiteheads on those pustules that are covered with make-up. can we get some new pictures on here? or did we run out of bad looking celebs?

ACCUTANE? Double serum blood levels. Swallow your pill with two tablespoons of warm olive oil. Acne completely gone for months; waiting one year after accutane to get fraxel. |

don't be silly. no one is pokng fun. if others see that celebs suffer just like us then it makes people realise they are not the only ones and that everyone (even the rich and famous) suffer.

It's actually really reassuring to see celebrities with acne problems because they have money and the best derms and skin care available to them, and they still have issues with their skin. It's humanizing.

It's so weird to see Britney Spears with acne, because in every magazine she looks so airbrushed. Probably cause she IS airbrushed, huh? It makes me feel like a human being to know that people aren't perfect, even though they are made to look perfect for photos and all that. It makes me feel like I don't NEED to be perfect, because even people who are considered to be gorgeous have flawed skin.

That's the reason why I started this thread really... http://www.exfoliac.com/exfoliac/front/1.blob?blobCode=51 I'm glad you did. People get so drawn into the perfection of the media, when they see these airbrushed celebs they think that's what beauty is and that's what they should look like, but in reality, it's not real. It's all special effects. Kinda frustrating. And wow, Kate Moss? She ALWAYS looks so perfect..hard to believe.

Anyone can look good with professional stylists, make-up artists, hair and lighting, not to mention all the airbrushing after the photos are taken.
