hey guys
I am about to run out my first round of DKR. The first time I ordered DKR; I got hit by custom making my final bill to come out to be 87$ which was even more expensive than when I was using proactiv.
Anyhow, does DKR have a canadian distributor? Or is there some other way that I can get DKR without being hit by customs?
I'm in toronto, canada
Thanks for the help.

Hey, I'm new and recently just bought the starter kit using the method int he title. I was wondering how it works. I'm afraid that when it arrives, no one is home to pick answer the door and they might just leave it there, now I live in an apartment so it would be a different story if I lived in a house. Its been about a week since I ordered, I'm hoping it arrives soon, as I am sick and tired of this acne, and every other product I have used =(

Hey everyone,
Last time I ordered the regimen, I had it sent to a good friend in Buffalo that I visit frequently (I live in downtown Toronto), so I didn't have to worry much about the shipping.
I noticed that the shipping costs are quite high (I'm looking to purchase the big kit) and I've been cruising the boards trying to find a way around it. I noticed that the acne.org regimen is on Amazon.COM and that I can order from there (*not* the Cdn website though) and shipping is around $10-$11. H
Has anyone tried this? Will it work as far as avoiding extraneous shipping costs? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone ordered this from a website?
I can't order it through drugstore.com since they don't allow shipping to Canada.
Does anyone know where I could order it?

Hey Guys,
I'm looking for a Canadian online pharmacy that I can order stuff through so I won't end up paying the insane handling fees just to pay a few cents in tax.
I remember buying Eucerin Daily Renewal a couple of years ago from a Canadian online pharmacy, unfortunately, I don't recall the name of the pharmacy and searching for "canadian pharmacy" through google is somewhat pointless because I just get a bunch of prescription pharmacies for export to the US.
Any help would be great! It's getting frustrating to look for what I need by going to five different stores to find one product.

Hi,
I am so envious of all of you Canadians with easy access to SpectroJel products by GlaxoSmithKline!!!
I'm wondering about peoples' experience with a specific SpectroJel formulation-- "Extra Gentle--Sensitive Skin, Fragrance Free" in the bottle with the pale blue/grey text (pls see pic).
I can't find feedback specific to this formulation of SpectroJel on this site (or others), so please share if you've tried it!
Or would you recommend SpectroDerm instead? Or SpectroJel "Sensitive, Problem Prone Skin" (bright blue bottle w/ fragrance, purple w/out)?
I have *freakishly* sensitive skin--dry, prone to contact dermatitis, allergic to way too many ingredients to list, and breakout prone (of course)... But on the bright side my acne is fairly mild, in a sense the least of my problems.
My derm recommended this specific product, but since I'm in NYC and presume I'd have to buy this from a Canadian pharmacy website, it's going to be rather pricey with shipping. So I'd really love to get specific product feedback before I make the sight-unseen investment!
THANKS!
<also, I posted on the International board about where to order from for US orders and/or the local availability of the Spectro line in local NYC area derm offices...so if you have anything to share about that, please post here, there, or send me a message, thanks!>

how much does it usually cost to get it shipped to Vancouver, including tax or brokerage fees?
and i heard that we have to pay brokerage fees for anything over $60? is this true?
i found some posts saying:
"I asked at the post office about customs and they said it was hit or miss, so some orders you pay and some you don't, no real reason behind it they said. I ordered twice so far and had to pay customs only once. Good luck. "
"Heres a tip not to pay for custom: if you only buy 3 dan bp you dont have to pay for custom because of the weigh and its less than 50$"

If you've bought acne.org stuff recently, maybe we could post how many $ worth of stuff we ordered and what shipping method we chose, and what province we had it shipped to and if it got through customs OK, just for reference.
I'm in Ontario and my package had $47 USD on the outside of the package, and I didn't have to pay any extra at customs. I got it in a little under 2 weeks.
I was glad mine went through even though it was over $50 Canadian (do they always go by American? I guess it's not all that exact?)

Hi All!
I'm from the UK and use Dans Regimen and AHA which has been brilliant - I'm flying out to Toronto later this month and I know the weather's going to be alot colder compared to over here... I just know my skin will get really really dry...
So my question is really - how do I cope with the cold weather? Reduce BP? Increase the moisturiser? Should I use more or less AHA?
What changes have you had to make to your regimen to cope with the season change?
Any tips from any one of you would be greatly appreciated ! xx

I've heard that usually only UPS and Fedex charge duty taxes.
So if I were to say, order an 8 OZ starter kit ($34), using First Class Mail would I be charged with duties?

There is no doubt in my mind that dan's cleanser, BP, and moisturizer is the best in the world; it works great and ive been on the regime for three months. The problem is how expensive it is for me. The products themselves are fine but i pay 30 dollars for delivery and the border makes me pay an additional 40. For the price, Dan's BP is amazing, so i want to stick with it but i am thinking of buying a cleanser and moisturizer from the store to save money. My question is which products should i use? pros? cons? i want them as similar to Dan's as possible. (The sun is no concern and a greasy face after moisturizer use is a concern.)
thanks.

If we don't want to pay duty in customs, can the products be shipped and sent as "gift"? This way, no duty will be charged. I'm sure many Canadian customers would appreciate it.

Hi all.
I used to use SpectroDERM as a cleanser, but I haven't bought it in a long time so when I went to the store to pick up a bottle, I noticed there are a LOT more different types than there used to be.
I'm wondering which one people use? And which one you like the best?
Specifically I am considering:
SpectroDerm (dry, sensitive skin)
SpectroJel Combination (for combination skin)
SpectroJel Sensitive, Problem prone skin
My skin is probably combination: can get a little oily on the nose and forehead, but mostly dry everywhere else.

I have a lot of dark spots on my skin from my acne. It's making my skin tone completely disgusting.
I heard Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Treatment works really well, but I can't seem to find it in drug stores and not a lot of websites ship to Canada. Does anyone know where to get it?
Besides this one, is there anything else that might help? I have oily skin with occasional breakouts.
Thanks.

This has probabaly already been answered in other topics but there are so many that I don't have time to read through them all for the answers.
Before ordering the products from the website I would rather try to buy something similar in stores.
Basis Sensitive Skin bar has been suggested. Is this available in Canada? Namely at Shoppers Drug Mart. If not, what is suggested as a similar product?
Neutrogrena on-the-spot has also been suggested. Again, is this available in Canada. Namely at SDM. If not, what is suggested as a similar product?
Finally, Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion has been suggested. Available in Canada? SDM? If not what is suggested as a simila product?
Thanks for your help
