I keep getting ingrown hairs. I've been using an electric shaver for about a year now.

I stopped moisturizing my face about a month ago because it was making my face way too oily and creating white heads. I think because my face is a lot drier than before, it's leading to ingrown hairs? Do you guys have an advice? Do any of you have ingrown facial hairs? They're the worst. They get infected and red and are sore and I really want to solve this problem. I'm thinking maybe a light moisturizer after I shave?

Also, do you guys always moisturize your face after shaving or what? I really hate the thought of moisturizing my face these days but apparently it can prevent acne too by preventing the skin from producing excess oil to combat the dryness.

ANY HELP WILL DO GUYS, thanks.

Okay I'll make this simple. I was sick of hearing about this masterbation talk so I decided to try it myself. I went without anything for a week and than masterbated atleast once a day the following week, having sex mid-week too.

Results: After about 4 days without masterbating, I DID CLEAR UP. I couldn't believe it. Now saying that, it could have been a 'good week' but what leads me to believe otherwise is the fact that on the second week, I broke out. You know even whiteheads were clearing up and just my face in general was clearing up on the first week.

It is very hard to give up sex and masterbation so I don't know what I'll be doing from here on. I will try to limit sexual experiece to twice a week and see where that leads me. I don't have any motive here to promote anti-masterbation but seriously, after about 4-5 days into the first week, my skin cleared up. Of course I have bad scarring and bad cysts but the cysts and pimples and whiteheads were getting better. I will have to try and limit myself until new years to see what happens I guess.

I use foundation to cover three massive acne related scars but have never bought make up wipes or removal what ever. I have been using an exfoliator to remove the make up for the months I've been using foundation on the scars. Is this a bad thing to do? I have noticed that my skin gets red and sore sometimes because I'm exfoliating the area so often....

Any help will be appreciated!

How do you guys who wear make up to cover acne and acne scarring deal with going to the beach and pools? Do you wear no make up or some sort of waterproof makeup?

I can't believe it has taken me so long to cry out for help but here I am! I have been wearing a light foundation that my cousin told me was more of a moisturizer but it does say foundation on it. It's the Jessica Alba one, the one that's apparently very easy to blend. I have been using it on occasions for the past few months.

So here's my dilemma.. sometimes the foundation rubs on good and blends well but other times, the foundation has like black spots on it and than as soon as I apply it to my face, it goes too dark for my skin. What are this black dots? I rubbed it on my wrist even with the black spots and it blended perfectly but with my face, maybe because of the redness, scarring, it doesn't all the time? Is the foundation getting too old? Is that why it has black spots?

Why do girls put on foundation under make up? Should i be doing that? Keep in mind that I only use it on a couple scars as they are VERY bad and VERY red.

PLEASE ANY HELP! Give me all of your years of knowledge. Please. I find myself applying it and it goes wrong than having to wash off the make up and do it again and again and by that time my freaking skin is so aggrevated. PLEASE HELP sad.gif
