I went camping earlier in the week, and took this product along since it is an spf 30 moisturizer. It used to be called "Extra Protective" but apparently Eucerin has made some changes and I think it's definitely improved.
It used to be quite thick and white and difficult to get to absorb or disappear onto the skin. This new version is still white, but it's much less thick and works into the skin very easily with minimal white cast. It worked very well for me and I didn't get any sunburn. I also wore a hat most of the time. Oh, and the best part is that it doesn't sting or burn at all. Just thought I'd toss this out as a suggestion to anyone needing an spf 30 for when outdoors.

Hi everyone,
Dan and Kent were contacted by the producer of TLC and they are wanting to do a feature on "embarrassing illnesses" and one of them is going to be acne. If any of you have ever watched TLC, their shows are tastefully and professionally done, imo. They are looking for a person or two who would be willing to talk about how acne has affected their lives and follow them through their treatment journey. We would like to find one person who is not on the Regimen yet who would be willing to let the TLC crew follow their journey with the Regimen from the beginning. They may also be interested in finding someone who has been cleared by the Regimen and would like to talk about their personal experience with it, how acne has affected their life, how their life has changed since getting clear etc. So, think about it and if any of you are serious about wanting to do this, you can contact Kent by emailing him at Kent@acne.org As far as we know there isn't an age requirement, although if they are looking for a certain age group I'm sure we'll find out eventually. This is a great opportunity for Acne.org and the Regimen to get more exposure and we're very excited about it! Thanks!

Hi guys,
I know this time of year can be especially rough due to the cold dry weather of wintertime. Sometimes our favorite moisturizer just isn't getting the job done, and there's one thing I wanted to mention that has helped me every winter. I run a humidifier in my house, and take it into my bedroom at night and sleep with the door closed. This can add some much needed moisture to the air in your home and give you some relief. You can get a small model fairly inexpensively at Wal-Mart for $20-$30. If you'll let it run all night in your room while you sleep, you should notice in the morning that your skin is more hydrated. And I'm not just talking about facial skin either. If any of you tend to get dry itchy body skin during the wintertime, this can definitely help. And also, use a good moisturizer and/or jojoba oil if you can. Hope this helps. |
