anyone else just use a simple wash cloth to help with there blackheads? my nose was covered in blackheads and clogged pores so i started washing twice a day using a wash cloth and just gently rubbing the area over my nose, after a week of doing this my nose has 50% less blackheads and alot of the clogged pores are gone, my nose is starting to look normal!
also helped for rest of my face in evening out my skin tone and reducing pore size on my cheeks.

This is kind of just a rant b/c at this point I feel like nothing will ever make my blackheads go away.
Ever since I started using Green Cream, which is great, after I wash my face the blackheads on my nose and cheeks and poking out above the surface. At first I was like oh cool, theyre going away.Nope, thats not the case. They just stay that way and never leave. Then after I put my moisurizer on they go back under the surface and the same thing happens the next time I wash my face.
I have tried squeezing them but that doesnt always work and even if they do completely come out they come right back within a few days. I dont like to squeeze them though b/c Ive heard that it could do serious damage to your skin. So I tried using tweezers to grad them and pull them out. Wow, its so satisfying when they come out like that(nast though, lol) but they still come right back.
I just dont get it. When I was on medication and using glycolic acid products they didnt go away.Steaming didnt work.Pore strips didnt work. Its so frustrating.

ok, after using the regimen for 4 months ii am 98% clear. all that is left are a whole lot of blackheads on my nose. they make my nose really oily. i've found that if i scrub and wash my nose alot... that oiliness will disappear, but then the next morning it will be back with a vengeance. i dont know what to so anymore, its not so much the blackheads that annoy as the oiliness
heeeeeelp

I exfoliate with Ohm Olay Jasmone Rose scrub, and all it really does for me is get the dry skin off my face. Same with St. Ives Apricot Scrub. And they don't work to get rid of blackheads in my opinion. Am I doing something wrong, like the way I apply it on and wash it off? All I do is wet my face with warm water, gently apply the scrub in circular motions, wait 1 minute, and then wash it off with more warm water.
Also, what is your experience with blackheads and exfoliation? Work or not? And how do you apply it?

Howdy people!

I have offically created the first topic in this forum, im like, soooo cool

.
Now, what we need is a sticky thread for product reviews and personal regimes relating to blackheads [just like the one here:
http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Recommended-Products-R-t14887.html]
So follow my lead people:
1] Bior pore pack 8/10:This is pretty much a strip which you put on your nose or [affeted areas], wet, dry then rip off off.
This literally takes the black heads out, i use it on my nose, just beware you dont pull too hard otherwise you will do damage to your skin.
My nose was read for a few days.
Bad side- It doesn't take all of them out, and you cant do a second round immediatly to get the left overs.
You have to wait at least 3-4 before doing it again....
2] BP 0/10:Applied liberlaly day and night for 3 months
Bad side: Did absolultely nothing for my black heads. Works great on keeping everything else clear though...
3] Interface Pore Management Purifying Mask 6/10Regular use has limited the amounts of blach heads i get to some extent, but i prefer this product after i manually remove blackheads with the strips to tighten my pores and holes that are left behind. Works great and visibally tightens your skin instantly.
Bad side: Doesn't do much for black heads, very little visible differnce on then, only shrinks pores and unclogs pores that apppear to be blackheads but aren't.
My Personal regime for blachheads- 6/10Morning:
-Scrub nose with Saint Ives Apricot scrub till my nose is read
-Apply AHA 10 percent lotion
Night:
-Scrub with Saint Ives Apricot scrub till my nose is red
-Apply Isotrex [topical retinoid]
Every 4 days i use a the Biore Pore Pack followed by Interface pore Management purifying mask.
So far, I'm just waiting for the topical retinoid to kick in and actually stop them from forming in the first place.
Other than that, manually exfoliating them with the lotion, strips and scrub is making them appear less by about 50 percent.
Now yout turn people, simply list the product/regime you use, a brief discription of what it does and how you use it, followed by a rank

gah, i think this blackhead is turning into a cyst. has this happened to anyone? wtf to do??
will the blackhead come out, or will the cyst just die down, leaving the blackhead still in there?

How do you deal with blackheads that are really deep. Like i can't see anything on my skin but i press on it like im popping a zit and stuff comes out in the form of a blackhead. They are all over my face. Ever since i started using bp like 3 years ago i guess they stopped forming into pimples. Since then i have applied bp daily. Im not too sure what to do.
Right now i wash my face twice a day and maybe wash again in the afternoon. I recently tried mixing some tea tree oil into my bp (about 1/4 of a teaspoon). I wash with Basis soap. Do a baking soda mask at night and in the morning i use some apple vinegar as a toner with the 1:5 mix.
This works pretty good but i want to know how to kill everything thats deep. I mean i cant even notice that i got stuff under a small section of my face and once i press on it i usally get something out.
