The weirdest thing happens to me. When I go out is usually the only time I ever break out. I get normal zits occasionally and overall my skin isn't THAT bad but it REALLY bugs me. My skin is really sensitive so when I started on the regimen using Dan's products it over-dried me so now I'm only using it at night. For some reason when I get a new zit this weird thing happens. A little patch of my skin gets bright red around this little bump. The bump is usually barely visible and the patch of skin itches. It is really unattractive because without warning I'll get an itch and by the end of the day the red spot will be a little fluid filled bump that must be acne. I have no idea how to get rid of these or what to do to prevent them. Does anyone else suffer from my itchy dilemma????
HELPPP!!! ~Miss Bennet btw i have a big date tonight and i just got a new itchy spot

I have been striving for clear skin for 2 years now. I have moderate acne. My acne affects my life more than most people realize. Whenever I go out in a public place i feel like hiding. I always look at other people's skin and compare it to my own. A lot of the time I have to hide behind my hair because I will start to cry. Not only that, but whenever I go out anywhere I tend to get at least one new active zit or under-the-skin bump. It's really bad at school. I always break out there. It's gotten so bad that I even think about my face when I take a test and often can't concentrate. I have very supportive friends and a loving boyfriend but nothing seems to help. I cry about it a lot. All I want to change about myself is my skin and it's the only thing that I can't change.
I came across this site and was very hopeful. I have been on the regimen (using all of Dan's products and only them) strictly for about five days. I use the regimen once in the morning and once at night and my skin is getting over-dry and starting to overproduce oil. I'm starting to get more active zits when I go out (which I try to avoid but I have to go to school). I really want clear skin and I want the regimen to work. I feel really hopeless. Everyday I feel like I should just give up, but I always press on. Does anyone have any advice or a possible reason why I break out only when I go out? Please help me, Miss Bennet

Clearogen is a three step acne treatment. It contains a wash, a toner, and a lotion. It's slightly expensive and it's an over-the-counter treatment. It would probably work best on oily skin because it's a little drying. I didn't really stick with it long enough to know if it really works but it's worth a try. It's supposed to act like a topical hormone balancer. It stops the conversion of some hormone to DHT, or the hormone that causes acne, so that it prevents all further outbreaks and helps speed up the recovery of existing outbreaks. I know the thought is really exciting but you guys should research it a lot more than I do. When I used it, (not totally as instructed... I tend to devise my own instructions ), I think it might have caused tiny, under-the-skin, flesh-colored, bumps to appear. My mom insists that it was some other medication that I had been using and I'm starting to agree with her. Don't let that totally turn you off it though. It might be what works for you. Thought this might be helpful,
