hi--i see that most people have a little signature that shows their regimen/other personal stuff. how do you make one of those?

Hi there. I'm struggling to post a link. I've tried highlighting the text I want to link and then clicked the green icon with a +. Pasted url into prompt but then the link and the text disappears when I try to post the comment in my blog.
Tried it with both external sites and those within acne.org as well. Both not working.
Help please.

Would it be possible for you to maybe do an interview with a skin professional, for example, dermatologist, beautician at some point? You could put forward the most commonly asked questions on this forum, a few from each thread topic perhaps?

Reason being, there's so many confused people around here, people that just don't know what to do, and there's too much misinformation being banded around as a result.

It'd be great to get the same recurring queries answered once and for all, then these responses can be pinned as a reliable source of reference. As it is, a lot of the pinned stuff is by normal people, and although very good and informative, I think if it were to come from a pro, it'd have more credibility. Not meaning to offend, but you know what I mean, these professionals make a living out of dealing with skin probs day in and day out, it's their specialist field.

I think to get a guest spot on here from time to time would be really appreciated by all of us, though I'm not sure how easy that'd be in reality.

I know you did the Q&A thing with Laura a while back but I missed the boat on that one! lol. I think it'd be preferable to look through and see what the most frequently occuring queries are throughout this forum, rather than individuals just asking random questions on a first come first served basis. That way, more people would benefit from the answers given and the skin pro would get through more pertinant questions, seeing as their time is limited.

I'm sure this is something you must've thought of before, but if you could just let me know your current situation regarding this proposal I'd be very grateful.

so i am 15 years old, and i have been dealing with acne since i was 11. I finally went to the dermatologist 6 months ago. She prescribed me doxycycline,and a facewash that had sulfur in it. The doxycyclin cleared my big acne up. But now im left with little tiny acne bumps that are the same color as my skin, and are under my skin. So when i went back to the dermatologist she prescribed me differin gel. I have been using differin for about a month and havent seen any difference i know i should wait 3 months but im really wanting to try some new products. I really want to try a new oral medication other then doxycyclin becuase after 6 months it hasn't cleared up my body acne at all and i dont really like it. SO MY QUESTION IS WHAT ORAL MEDICATION DO YOU GUYS RECOMEND ME TO GO ON? i cant stop taking oral medication for my acne becuase i have before and i broke out bad. what have you guys gone on that worked?(I DONT WANT TO GO ON ACCUTANE) also i really want another topical gel so what do you guys recommend? Also i have really really really OILY oily oily skin so what gentle cleanser, and mosturizer do you guys think i should get? (I prefer drug store brands) Also do you guys think i should use a exfoliator and or clay mask? Also what are these tiny fleshed clored acne bumps? and how do i get rid of them? I am desperate, please help!

So i just want to use a jpeg photo to be my picture but when i go to upload it, the page will load a long time and then just say, "upload failed please contact an administrator" any way to fix this? not a big deal i know but just curious.

*ok an update: i figured out that the file size is 1.8 MB which is way too big. Can anyone tell me how to reduce the file size to 50KB?

I know a lot of you guys out there uses some kind of hair wax/paste for your hair and I can bet that some of you have had problems with breakouts on the forehead, back of neck, and hairline due to this... Or maybe some of you even avoid wearing anything in the hair and prefer to look like a walking ape rather than risk the breakouts...

Wouldn't it be great to have a product you could apply liberally without having to worry about breakouts? Something you could have in the hair even when you're in the gym and the sweat is dripping from the hair? A product you didn't have to wash out before bed because you're afraid it might get onto the pillow and clog pores?

I have problems with viewing long threads. It seems like it puts a lot of posts on the first page and doesn't allow me to go past the first page. If I click on page 2 or any page up to the current page it just shows me what I already saw on page one. I saw someone else comment about this, so now I know it's not just me.

How about this?

Being a vegetarian or vegan brings up a whole new load of challenges for keeping acne under control, as well as not eating meat/dairy etc.

Also some vegetarians may be intolerant to soy so may need to eat other vegetarian foods etc, so a board for us to discuss what to eat, what to do etc, in also helping acne, would be good.
I have tried this on vegetarian forums, but all the people recommend eating nuts and cheese and all these ranges of things which are bad for acne, they really do know nothing compared to the wealth of knowledge on these forums.
