Hi! im just about to buy the Acne.org products since iv'e tried everything I might just give it a try. Im asking for honest opinions about them because Dan sure makes them sound amazing.....

Does anybody use only Jojoba Oil as their face lotion/moisturizer. I mean using just the oil, nothing else, after you apply your BP or whatever you use.

So, I've been on the regimen for almost 2 months and have just introduced AHA. I've been using it in place of my nightly moistoriser for the past 3 days, however, the areas I've used it on have turned bright red!

Is this normal? Will it fade after a few more days while my skin adjusts? I haven't been outside at all so my skin hasn't been exposed to the sun.

I must have visited at least 20 acne sites, they all say the samr thing: IT WORKS! VIEW OUR SUCCESS STORIES! THIS STUFF IS PRO! And all that.

I'm getting sick of seeing all of it, and am not falling for it anymore. The "Regimen" doesn't seem so speial, just Benzoyl Proxide? 99% of acne prodcuts have that in them.

So please, (and be honest) does this actually work?

Step three of the regimen is to moisturize. But does this step actually have anything to do with getting acne-free skin, or is it just to improve your cosmetic appearence after you apply Benzyol Peroxide?

Let's say, for example, that my skin reacted extremely well to Benzoyl Peroxide, and it never flaked, or got red, or anything. Would there be any need to apply moisturizer, after applying the BP?

I'm going on holiday today and need to pack away the Regimen, I was wondering if it's possible to lock the pumps so they don't make a mess in my suitcase. I don't want to fiddle around with them incase I loose some of the product...

I decided I'm going to try and start the regimen, but boy it's still kind of pricey since there was tax and shipping o.o more expensive than proactive. I hope it works well...I'll get back to you guys later

Before I started Dan's BP, my back had finally cleared up 100% and all that was left was some scarring (non-red). It felt and looked so nice...
My face was still dealing with mild to moderate. I bought some of Dan's BP for my face only, and after a month it has elevated my condition to severe on my face and now I have about 9-10 emerging cysts on my back. I am extremely disappointed in this product and wish I had never bought it.

Also, it caused my forehead to break out, a place where I have never had acne.

I got razor bumps from shaving too aggressively. Would AHA help to get rid of them? The bumps are on my stomach (yes, I shave my stomach), not my face, and I have no body acne problems...

Okay so after applying the cleanser you're supposed to put on the BP.

My question is this: does it have to be the one Dan is selling or can I use a product called Basiron? That product also contains the BP but there might be other ingredients in there that isn't in Dan's product.

Another question: How long do I have to use it before it shows sign of improvement? I mean, there's no point in buying a 4 month kit if it doesn't work for me. On the other hand theres also no point in buying a 1-2 month kit if thats to little time to see any change.

One more question: does Dan's series contain perfume because isn't perfume a huge no-no when it comes to cleaning your face?

I took a week off from the bp+aha to give my face a break. Breakouts are much much slower..maybe growing out of acne(20)..Used BP+AHA on my chest like i normally would...and now its EXTREMELY RED. Like a rash, looks terrible. Very Itchy...Any ideas? Happened about a week ago also.. I used aloe vera it cleared up alot...but seriously its pretty painful and terrible to look at.

Hi, anyone here can provide the products as effectively as possible to eliminate the acne on the face?


I am 26 yrs old but unfortunately I have terrible acne on my whole face about 7 years, any most worsen the acne cannot dramatically reduced on my face since the last sever years. I tried to use the many anti-acne products but it still on my face horribly. it gives me a lot of stresses and embarrassments on my study and working. I have no any approach to eradicate this ugly... acne on my face, even though I see the doctors to ask for the method to shed it.


Anyone has the same experiences in eliminating the acne on the face or providing the products to treat the acne, could you share it to me?

I had started my own OTC version of the Regimen last week and so far so good! I just got Dan's products yesterday and used them for the first time last night. I really dig the light scent of the cleanser & moisturizer... kind of like a fresh cucumber. Very nice

Ok, so my issue:

I'd been using Cetaphil (normal) moisturizer to counter the dryness as a result of the BP. The cetaphil (as others have stated) was great, but a bit heavy and "greasy" feeling/looking. I love that Dan's moisturizer is much lighter, but at the same time it is also seemingly less effective.

By less effective, I simply mean that I found myself needing to reapply several times throughout the day, whereas with the Cetaphil it was a twice a day thing (am then pm).

My Question:

Is it likely that this is due to a switch in ingredients and my face will adjust? or is it just too light for my chemistry? I'd like to be able to just use the whole DKR package.

Hi all. I have been using Dan's 2.5 % benzoyl peroxide for about a year. I'd been very happy with the result until I ordered the new 8oz treatment tube. It stings like crazy and the next morning, I could not even open my eyes because they were that swollen. After looking around the message board, I realized a lot of other people are also having the same problem. I want to know if I have THE batch but I don't see the batch # or expiration date on the 8oz tube. Where did people find this out?

i moisturise 2 times a day and i still get flakes on my chin, today i applied aha+ instead of the moisturiser, i feel like my flakes are coming already, like the aha+ isnt moisturising enough or is causing me to have flakes.

Should i put extra moisturiser on now? or may this be too many creams?

Hello all, every time I try to regularly use the moisturizer, I get little whiteheads all over that scratch off easily and then swell up and ooze clear fluid. They don't seem like the kind of cystic acne I normally get. In fact, if I'm not careful to leave them alone after that, they turn into nasty blisters that don't heal for weeks.

I'm WAY too flaky in the winter without moisturizer, and the stuff doesn't really burn when I put it on. Just tingles. Then, about 6 hours later, I notice the pimples.

I'm so annoyed. Today, they were all over my face. I've tried to "stick it out" to see if it would go away, but no luck.

I don't have any known allergies to anything, so I'm baffled.

Anyone else have this issue?

Are there any other moisturizers that are just as good and don't irritate?

In one of Dan's videos he says when starting with the Regimen you should have 1/2 pumps the first week, 1 pumps the second week, 1 + 1/2 pumps the third week and by week 4 you can use the full dosage which is 2 pumps. In another video however Dan says that the tubes are coming back. He states that a full dosage for the pump is one thick line down your index finger, but this is for people who already have used it awhile. What does 1/2 pump traslate into the tube dosage?

Have yet to encounter Dan on the forum!

I know Make Up is something Dan doesn't really want us to wear but with acne especially if you are female Make Up is something you come to rely on alot. I know I've tried them (almost) all!

So maybe Dan could formulate a Make Up Base?

Tinted Moisturises are also good and guys can use them too

i was thinking about switching between the AHA and the new S+ products every few days. any opinion on that?

I was wondering if it is possible to try the regimen first before buying it because I don't know if it would work for me. I've tried all sorts of products but they haven't worked so well for me and in the end I end up feeling like I've wasted my money on them.

So, I bought the whole shabang, a starter kit, in July. Unfortunately I have been waking up and going to bed at rough times so I wasn't a consistent user, and I only did it once a day usually because I wanted to start slow.. So I actually took a break from it for a few days and well I started using it again and then my face got miserable. Or rather, I got miserable. My face became red all over, extremely itchy(Very intensely itchy), and swollen at places. It's miserable to have this happen because not only do I look ridiculous but I feel like I am going to scratch my face off.. This has happened three times now because after that first time I tried it again a few days later... same thing... After a week or so and same thing. I had been using this stuff for about a month or two without problems and now it just happens after I take a small break? There were no problems like this before... So I am not going to use it anymore because either the product went bad or you guys know what happened maybe.

Anyway.. Discontinuing use of BP... It's killing me.
