Today, is my 5th day using it.
I started September 11, at night.
I use Cleanser and BP and moisturizer in the morning
and
Cleanser and BP at night.
My face doest look different, but it feels different. My face used to be inflammed and bumby. Now its smooth. I haven't seen a new pimple, and this pimple that used to haunt me for months is now gone!
This product is showing good results to me. I hope it stays this way.
I am waiting for the 2nd week mark, I usually here that's when you see great results.

Some things about me: I have had acne since I hit puberty. I am 18 years old now. I am seriously the only one out of all my friends that has acne still. I eat healthy and used to run at least 5 miles a day! It's difficult and frustrating to have acne while your surrounded by people who have perfect skin every day! I absolutely hate pictures because I know I look like a pizza face. I refuse to take pictures with my friends. I hate going out because I feel like every one is staring at my acne. It just makes me feel extremely insecure. Well, I figured I would take some before pictures, just in case. Since not that many people usually do. Hopefully this regimen works!
Just recieved my acne.org supplies today! I am hoping this works because I've tried everything! Like everyone here. I've tried every over the counter medication you can name, plus proactive. The only thing I haven't done is gone to a dermatologist, so I never tried any prescription medication. I cannot afford any of that hence why I am trying dan's regimen. I am praying it works because I am SICK of my embarassing acne. Well, i'm going to start tonight and I will try to keep updated as much as possible! I am starting college next week, so hopefully that won't get me off track of my regimen.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Day 4
Well, not even a week yet, but my face is breaking out a lot more in some spots. I think i've previously had some incoming acne growing, so hopefully this will be the purge phase. I'm really tempted to pop the pimples that are "ripe" and white, but I don't know if I should? I'm just leaving them alone right now, so hopefully thats a good choice. I've been using a small amount of BP to avoid any irritation, and it's going okay. I haven't had any flaking or anything. I can sometimes feel a bit burning when I put on my mostourizer though. Today, I also started drinking some apple cider vinegar. Hopefully this will fight my acne from the inside, while i work on the out! I'll try to post pictures every week, so you can see my progress.

The TWO main reasons I will be writing here are to report how I'm doing with my goal of stopping my skin picking and how Daniel Kern's Regimen is working for me.
I am 6 days into the Regimen and have already had to stop using Dan's moisturizer. It caused my face to be so itchy and uncomfortable that I had an even harder time keeping my fingers off my face than usual.
I'm a mom to two sweet children, ages 3 and 2. I've got to attend to them and will be back later. I'd love to have some picture updates here, but I don't know how to get them on this page. I'll have to research that too.

The last photo is my current progress, day two! Already seeing some progress, but my skin is really dry and flaky. D:

So for 4 weeks I have been using Purpose Cleanser and moisturizer with 2.5%bp at night. Occasionally I use Ole Henriksen's AHA night gel. I've also been taking one 50mg on zinc a day and 2-3 capsules of fish oil a day. After the first week I noticed a difference. Lately Ive been breaking out but I'm still going to stick with it! Any comments, questions, concerns?

Hi everyone! I ordered the Starter Kit yesterday (or rather, today at 3 AM..) and I'm really excited to start. Looking at the before and after pictures with people with severe acne has given me hope, and I honestly wish that these products will save my face too.
I'm currently fourteen years old, turning fifteen really soon. I've been troubled by acne since fourth grade, and I have had gotten a lot better since then because of what I've learned along the way. However, I can feel and see the beginnings of a rather horrible breakout, and school is starting in two days. I got desperate.
Here are my BEFORE pictures! My face actually looks a lot worse on the camera... I don't know why it doesn't look as bad after I uploaded them. Ugh!

I can't wait to start!

well I'm turning 27 soon and have been on the Acne.org regimen for 3 years now.
I've had acne since I was 15 and that it was just hormones and would only have to put up with it for a year or two - boy was I wrong lol. So at 17 I'd more than had enough I sought the advice of my doc who put me on several topic meds none of which really made a huge difference and never touched the cystic acne I had. A few years following the docs advice and various treatment and that was it, I'd had enough so I turned to other treatments like proactive and others one after another giving them time to see if they worked - they didn't.
Then I found acne.org and thought I'd give it a go.
I've used the BP since the start, morning & night followed by the moisturiser. After a few months there was a slight improvement so I kept going and endured the redness n flaking.
Now I use the BP morning and night still, moisturise in the morning and AHA at night and my skin is alot clearer and I maybe have 5 or so spots at any one time - some of which are probably from shaving too close.
Now I've noticed my skin is quite red so I'm going to try:
BP morning & night
Moisturise morning and 4 nights a week
AHA 3 nights a week
Hopefully that will help the redness subside.
Thinking about using salicylic to help stop shaving bumps and ingrown hairs occuring and hopefully reduce my oily skin - my skin has always been really oily!
If anyone has advice for reducing oilyness and stop shaving bumps I'd be grateful

Well just started yesterday so this should give me something to do when i'm bored. Some history, hardly had any acne all my child hood up until about freshmen-sophmore year of high school, wasnt too bad but just gradually got worse all the way to senior year still where it stands now, first year of college. Not extremely bad but lots of red marks from previous acne for the most part.
Basically following the regimen exactly as its written, but ive been using BP for years now and so I started using a tad less than half a fingers worth maybe even half a fingers worth not sure.
Morning (following just as in videos)
---------
.org Cleanser (1-2 pumps)
.org Bp (forgot ammount of pumps but about half a fingers worth)
.org Moisterizer (maybe half a pump or so)
Same routine at night but sometimes i'll shave after the shower then do the routine.
8/21/09
Started at night, everything seemed good. Today was the first morning.
Seemed like i used way too much moisterizer last night, after i let it absorb and dry it wasnt too bad but i used slightly less this morning and seemed better.
The Bp isnt drying my skin out hardly any if at all but i still use the moisterizer.
Burns slightly (moisterizer) for first few hours after use but it has subsided and not alot of redness other than normal redness has occured.
Moisterizer definatly makes my face look real shiny, but the only moisterizers ive ever tried have burned my face (including this one but not as bad) so I always just used bp and dealt with the dryness, so now its confusing, my face feels oily but i know its just because its moisterized which im not used to, its nice not to have flaky skin all over. I'd like to incorperate jajoba oil soon but if that contributes to shine ill pass. Definatly not liking the shine lol

Hello

Today I purchased my products for the regimen which I shall list at the bottom

I'm from the UK, and have posted detailed comments (and in a week or so, evaluations too) on these products in the UK regimen supplies board. I'm super excited now that I have everything and can finally get the ball rolling! And will endeavour to keep whoever may be interested in my blog fully updated with information, evaluations, pictures - the lot

I'll be starting tomorrow - a Wednesday (19/8/09) - which I'm feeling rather dubious about as I would have liked to have started on a Monday rather than mid-week. But as they say, beggers can't be choosers!
I'll post the first bout of pictures tomorrow and keep you updated from then on

And as promised, I'll share with you the products I plan on using and the regimen I will sincerely try to adhere to

Products (as written on the packaging): 1. 'Simple || Regeneration || Age resisting || Day Cream - SPF 15'. See 'http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Moistorisers-t245556.html' for more information on this product, my evaluation of it and other UK moistoriser products.
2. 'Simple || Regeneration || Age resisting || Night Cream'. See 'http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Moistorisers-t245556.html' for more information on this product, my evaluation of it and other UK moistoriser products.
3. 'Simple || Kind to Skin || Moisurising || Facial Wash'. See 'http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Facial-wash-t245554.html' for more information on this product, my evaluation of it and other UK facial wash products.
4. 'PanOxyl Aquagel 2.5%'. See 'http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Panoxyl-Aquagel-25-Qui-t245131.html' for more information from other acne.org members on this product as well as a direct comparison between said product and rival product, 'Quinoderm 5%'.
Regimen:
1. Morning: i) Wash face with 'Simple || Kind to Skin || Moisurising || Facial Wash'
ii) Pat dry with an OLD, WHITE towel (strongly suggested because BP can bleach!)
iii) Wait 5 minutes, wash hands, and then apply 'PanOxyl Aquagel 2.5%' lightly to the affected areas.
iv) Wait 15 minutes, wash hands, and then apply 'Simple || Regeneration || Age resisting || Day Cream - SPF 15' - first to the non affected areas and then to the affected areas, careful not to mix the two. I'm still sceptical that the BP, despite being dryed, would be spread to the non-affected areas of my face through moistoirsing.
2. Evening: i) Wash face with 'Simple || Kind to Skin || Moisurising || Facial Wash'
ii) Pat dry with an OLD, WHITE towel (strongly suggested because BP can bleach!)
iii) Wait 5 minutes, wash hands, and then apply 'PanOxyl Aquagel 2.5%' lightly to the affected areas.
iv) Wait 15 minutes, wash hands, and then apply 'Simple || Regeneration || Age resisting || Night Cream' - first to the non affected areas and then to the affected areas, careful not to mix the two. I'm still sceptical that the BP, despite being dryed, would be spread to the non-affected areas of my face through moistoirsing.
Thanks for reading and I hope you all are able to benefit from my experiences, opinions and evaluations posted within this blog and subsequent posts associated with it accordingly

(Day 6 - Monday June 22, 2009)
Hello everyone,
Here's my log with a little background info.
2001: First developed acne. I remember this because my friend pointed it out lol.
2002 - 2006: My problem areas are my cheeks and t-zone. Regrettably I popped most of my pimples. Luckily I got away with only having some scarring on my right cheek and right side of my nose.
2007 (Dec): Discovered the regimen and bought Dan's BP. I wasn't doing it properly but still had decent results with it
2008 (Sept): Started washing my face with water only once a day, using half a pump of BP and moisturizing with L'Oreal Futur-e. All the acne on my cheek cleared up and the red marks are unnoticeable on my left side but are visible on my right side up close. The only problem areas are between my eyebrows, nose crease, chin, and above my lip.
2009 (June): A few weeks ago I started washing my face twice a day with water only, and stopped using BP and moisturizing. I think it was because I was reading about 'natural acne cures' and got caught up in all the hoopla. It went fine for 2 weeks until I started to breakout all around my mouth. Which brings us to...
Now: I'm following the regimen closely. I wash twice a day with SpectroDerm, which is the only cleanser I have ever used in my life that doesn't make my skin feel tight and dry. I use 1 pump of BP twice a day and moisturize twice a day with L'Oreal Futur-e. I've been doing this since last Wednesday (June 17). So far the pimples around my mouth have cleared up. Only two remain on my chin and one just came up at the bottom of my right nostril. My face also doesn't feel oily anymore. I don't plan on adding any other products (probably Dan's AHA which I use for my arms for KP) to the regimen until I can go two weeks without getting a single new pimple. Hopefully these pimples from the past few weeks will be gone in two weeks cause I've got a presentation.
So here's the beginning of my log, I guess this would be (Day 6) since I started the regimen properly last Wednesday lol. Hopefully I'll update it every two weeks or so to make sure I stay on track with the regimen. Also I bought Complex-15 because everybody seems to love that moisturizer. So I'm going to be switching that with my L'Oreal one once it comes in the mail.

UpdatesNov. 16, 2008- Been on Dan Kern's acne regime for 4 months.
- Started using Darn Kern's AHA+.
- Rotate Dan Kern's cleanser with home-made Olive Oil Scrub & Jason Tea Tree Gentle Cleanser .
Brief HistoryWell, my name is
Mini. I'm 19 years old and I've been battling acne for almost five years now. Like many of you, my acne started at very beginning of high school. Throughout freshmen and most of my sophomore year, I had a problem with a few blackheads on my nose and the occasional white head near my upper lips and forehead. Looking back, I was simply paranoid about my skin even though my acne wasn't that bad at all. I simply used
Neutrogena and
Clearisil to treat those icky pimples. It wasn't that bad until tenth grade when I started having breakouts after breakouts.
Huge cysts started and what not, and my parents decided to make an appointment with the dermatologist. He prescribed me
donocycline, and after five good months, I was pretty cleared up. I only had a few scars left behind and absolutely no pimples during the summer of 2005.
However, shortly after junior year began, my pimples started coming back because I was stupid enough to stop taking the pills. Instead of going back to my skin regime, my obsession grew and I started to try all different things (sometimes all at once) to make my acne disappear again: Proactiv, apple cider vinegar and baking soda regime, over-the-counter products (again), vitamins and fish oil pills, etc. Most of the things that I thought would solve my problem only made it worse.
It was only a year ago that I decided to stop everything and started
Dan Kern's acne regime. In addition to Dan's skin-care routine, I also had my pimples professionally extracted by an experienced skin expert, which did wonders to my skin. Currently, my skin is 90% clear. I still have a lot of ice-pick scars and a few deeper scars, but overall, I'm so much happier than I was before in my high school years. Just remember, don't lose hope and keep fighting. I'm not giving up and neither should you.
Main problems:
- Severe body acne
- Brown spots; hyperpigmentation
- Extreme oiliness
- Visible scarring

- Vitamin B6 - 2 mg
- Folic Acid - 400 mcg
- Vitamin B12 - 15 mcg
- Biotin - 30 mcg
- Pantothenic Acid - 5.5 mg
QUOTE
Note: I decided to go back on tetracycline, and I've been taking it since October 2008.
ExerciseI do an intense abdominal work-out routine coupled with a ten minute warm-up about every other day, for
three days a week. Exercising helps with the blood carrying necessary nutrients and oxygen to the skin and also releases endorphins, which are good when you're all stressed out.
Diet- No milk, cheese, or yogurt
- Whole grains instead of processed grains
- Lower the amount of really cooked and charred meat
- Add more fish, eggs, fruits, and vegetables
- Drink 2L of water ea. day
QUOTE
Note: I should try to sleep more and get to bed at midnight!

Hi guys,
I'm new to the boards as everyone can see, so i guess ill do a little introduction to start off.
My name is Ben i'm 20 years of age and live in Dorthy's world of Kansas City. I have been an acne sufferer for about 7 years now about the time puberty set in, which is natural in most men. I would label my acne as slight/moderate with mostly whiteheads. I have stumbled on acne.org in my search to clear skin which has only recently gotten serious.
In high school i had the typical acne that most had but it was never to bad, i never used facial products or any spot treatments as it kept itself pretty well under control. Three years out of high school now and all i can say is WHAT HAPPENED? I have multiple whiteheads that form daily now mainly on my chin area. Why my acne has suddenly taken a toll for the worse i wish i knew, but i find it now worse than it has ever been before. Expecting that i would already grow out of it like some of my friends have this is not the case.
My regiment of about 6 to 8 months goes as this
Morning
Shower / Facial wash with Neutrogena Oil Free Face wash ( 2% salicylic Acid)
Nuetrgoena On the Spot treatment Gel ( 2% salycic acid )
L - Lysine 500 mg tablet
Multivitamin
Ginkgo Biloba ( 120 mg )
Evening
Facial wash Neutrogen Oil Free Face wash ( 2% salicylic Acid )
Nuetrgoena On the Spot treatment Gel ( 2% salycic acid )
L - Lysine 500 mg tablet
Proactive Refining face mask ( 6% Sulfur Treatment )
Other
I'm pretty heavy into bodybuilding and take in lots of protein and other amino acids needed that the body does not produce on its own, also i have been a dedicated competitive swimmer since i was 6 so i do swim and get lots of cardio workout in. I believe from my research that the acne fight is more on the inside than it is on the out so I stick to my diet for my acne and for my lifting it reads as this...
Diet
Banana / Fruit and eggs in the morning
Protein Shake mid morning
Chicken or Turkey wrap Lunch with either tuna or Peanut Butter Sandwich
Tuna for mid afternoon snack maybe scoop of peanut butter
6 oz or more chicken breast for dinner with steamed broccoli and whole grain pasta
Protein Shake late night snack
I see slight results with this regimen as the Salicylic Acid tends to reduce the redness and make the acne less noticeable, but it does not seem to help prevent or heal breakouts. When i stick strong to my diet routine it seems i have less breakouts the following week/weeks but its hard to consistently eat healthy with work and studying.
I have ordered the starter kit and AHA products from the site last week and expect to see them in sometime this week. ( hopefully tomorrow ).
So thats my day if you guys have any tips or suggestions to add to that list please let me know i'm open to all suggestions and or criticism.
Pictures will be posted weekly starting with before regiment pics.
Thanks for reading
Ben

My daughter has had a terrible time for the last few years with acne. She had the worst kind, cystic acne. But after reading about the success some people were having with apple cider vinegar, we decided to give it a chance. The ACV was too difficult to drink several times a day, so we made some adjustments. I made a hubpage to spread the word. and the miracle it's been for us. I wrote it in hopes that others would also benefit.
Best of luck to everyone!

Ok so today Im heading to the store and Im following this regimen. Hopefully it works. I'm 14 and Im about to turn 15 and recently Ive been breaking out because of either:
a) Periods (I havent had them in forever though)
b) stress from school (im a freshman...)
So, yeah. I havent broken out this bad, its only 3 pimples. I used ice on a whitehead and it reduced tremendously now I just have a few pimples on my chin, some blocked pores on my nose and forehead. And I felt like there were some pimples trying to erupt on my forehead and chin.
Wish me luck!!

I am on week one and I can't wait to get past week two because I am hoping for further improvement and less irrated skin. This is my last day of week one and my skin is still erupting with 2 or 3 zits every day and it is very dry and flaky. I think the redness has gone down just a tad, its not bright red now but rather a dull red. Still not too attractive but at least it appears my skin is adjusting slightly! I also have noticed that the zits I am getting tend to dry out much quicker and come to head within a day rather then being under the skin for 2 or 3 days.
Overall my skin is gross and it is hard to continue with my normal routine of school and work because it is so hard to face people. One side of my face is a lot worse then the other so I find myself trying to look to the side when talking to people or sitting with my "good side" facing people. Pathetic!! I blame my acne problem on having to switch to a progesterone only birth control because of migraines that I had awhile ago that caused auras. Before this I was on YAZ and although I haven't had migraines since switching to YAZ over a year ago, the doc still thought it best to put me on Camila. I am not so sure because now I have acne, anxiety and depression problems and if things don't get better I will probably have to get on some type of depression/anxiety med. I think I might be better off going back on YAZ but I don't think my doc agrees.
I will continue the regimen and see what happens. I have high hopes that this will work so I continue and fight the embarrassment of my skin condition and see what results I get. Right now i am using Purpose gentle face wash, neutragena on the spot 2.5 BP and Olay sensitive skin moisturizer. I also tried adding jojoba oil to my moisturizer yesterday and it seemed to help my skin from being too flaky so I will continue to use a drop of that during the day time.

Hi all,
I wanted to share my regimen on this board, mostly to keep myself on track and in check. Please feel free to comment, criticize, or advice at anytime.
I am now 26 years old. I cannot remember having anything but clear skin until I was about 22 years old. All through high school and my undergraduate years, I remember using all sorts of makeup purchased from drugstores and department stores alike. I can't remember discriminating amongst skin care products. If it looked promising, I purchased it, never once worrying about whether it might break me out or not.
Interestingly enough, during high school, I had very severe back acne on my shoulders and at 17, was prescribed a cream that completely got rid of the condition (I cannot remember the name of the cream today as it was prescribed over 9 years ago...). Today, I still consistently use some sort of acne body wash in the shower, I think mostly because I am scared that the acne might return. Every now and again, I will get a pimple on my back but nothing to cause me stress.
At 22, confused by my new skin condition, I set out to find the perfect skin care regimen and unfortunately, almost 5 years later, I still have not succeeded. Over the years, I have used the following products with no results:
acne free
clinique
ddf
kinerase
philosophy
murad
benefit
proactiv
alpha hydrox
exposed
shu uemura
lush
prevage
neutrogena
cetaphil
I am sure there has been others that I cannot recall at the moment but nevertheless, nothing has worked. I must say that proactiv did give better results than all others, however, my skin was so dry and irritated on proactiv that it looked just as bad with fewer breakouts. I am currently on alpha hydrox products. I had read wonderful things about the line and noticed that it was quite affordable so I purchased several items. I have been using the face wash and toner twice a day followed by the 10% oil free gel. Every now and again, I will dab on a salicylic acid treatment on spots. My skin has reacted terribly to this regimen. My forehead, which is one of the more clear areas on my face is covered with small pimples. My chin is covered with cystic pimples. I also have random breakouts on my cheeks. My nose has always been covered with blackheads and the current regimen has not changed or exacerbated this situation.
Yesterday, I came upon this website. Interestingly, I found out that I had a username created over 3 years ago. For reasons that I cannot remember now, when I registered on the website years ago, I did not purchase the regimen. Yesterday, I did. Well, only the travel kit. Although now I realize that perhaps I should have purchased the larger size kit...
As soon as I receive the kit, I will stop using the alpha hydrox products and post updates. I wanted to create this log mainly because I wanted to remind myself to stick with the regimen and hopefully receive some encouragement and motivation. I am also a picker and I am hoping that posting here or reading posts here may discourage me from touching my face.
Thank you all for reading my story. I will update as soon as I receive my kit in the mail.

the acne annihilator |

13th August 2009 09:27 AM Last post by: clearskies |
Well hello there, lovely readers and co-conspirators of annihilating this horrible monster known here as Acne *shudder*. Where I live, it's the beautifully sweltering summer, and today is July 30, 2009. Now, I don't know about you, but I start high school again in 2 weeks as a junior (and golly gee, I'm excited, aren't you?!). There's one big thing about school though: you've gotta look good! First impressions are everything in high school, and teenagers are nasty when it comes to looks. Now, that isn't much of a challenge when it comes to me personality and character and what not. My problem? The big, bad Acne loves to meet all my new friends too! "So, what do you do now, E?"
Search the internet, of course!
That's exactly what I did. "Okay, E, you know what to do...get to it!" So my search began. And what a search it was. I was so frustrated by the time I found Acne.org, it took such a long time to find! Okay, okay, not really...it was the first thing that popped up. What a find, it was. I went straight to the Acne.org products and watched Dan's tutorials, then read up on some testimonials of you co-conspirators. "Wow, this doesn't seem too hard, and it seems that everyone likes it...I guess I can give it a shot." Good idea, E! So, I placed my order for the 3 pack of 8 o.z. Cleanser, Benzoyl Peroxide (henceforth known as BP), and Moisturizer. And, what do I know? It get's to my front door two days after ordering. Good service, thank you very much.
So, the crusade began.
Here's my routine as of now:
Morning:
Wet Face, One Pump of Cleanser, Wash Face for About 10 Seconds, Pat Dry.
One Pump of BP, Gently Rub into Face-Allowing to Absorb, Wait About 10 Minutes.
One Pump of Moisturizer, Rub into Face Until Absorbed.
Repeat at Night.
This has been going on all fine and dandy. In fact, tonight was Day 6 of my crusade. I've discovered, though, that my face has began to become flaky around my mouth and nose area, like many others. I've lathered another quarter to half pump of moisturizer on the area when I notice the flakiness around mid afternoon. Though, exfoliation does seem like the most logical explanation, so I will probably begin to use St. Ive's Apricot Scrub. I've used it in the past, and it is an exfoliant that doesn't feel like it is ripping my skin to shreds while removing the flakes.
Oh, and the best part! I've noticed that the intruder is already starting to forfeit! My face seems noticeably better already, which is remarkable to me. My skin hasn't looked this good in a while.
Anyways, I'll keep you co-conspirators as updated as I can. I'll probably post again today, and I promise my next post will be equipped with pictures. Thanks for journeying with me, and I hope I can help with anything you guys need from me.
E
P.S. I don't really talk to myself, I was just adding it in there for effect.
P.P.S. I'm sixteen, and have mild-moderate acne.

Hello, I'm Matt just like 90% of the world I have struggled with acne from about 12 years old.
19 now and I have tried more and more products but nothing as worked. Stumbled onto this site a little over a week ago, watched some videos, success stories, and product prices. Hesitant to buy I did buy Dan's starter kit. Should come in the mail with in a couple more days.
I'm planning to follow the regimen to a "T" but we are not all perfect.
I have a couple of questions if someone could clear things up for me(irony if someone gets that)
1. What type of acne do I have? (pictures will be included)
2. I sweat a lot at work I feel/see the oil, is there anything at work I can do?
3. Is there a secret to not pick at these damned things?
I'll update with a 3 to 4 day post with a weekly picture update.
Sorry ladies, I am taken.

Alright, so tonight was the first night that I started the Acne.org regimen. I actually just got my products in the mail today so I thought I would get a head start by doing a night time routine. I'm trying to be a stickler with myself about really sticking to the plan, because I know without specifically following the guidelines, that it simply won't work.
I watched a few videos on Dan's blog just to make sure that I would get the technique. I then went to wash my face, which I hope I did correctly. I applied the BP although I think I messed up here because I sort of spread it out and left it, instead of working it into the skin. Now that I've put on the moisturizer my skin feels sticky (probably the caked on bp doing this).
Oh well, the morning is another opportunity to practice doing the regimen correctly..
Also how do I attach pics? Progress Pics in My Gallery

Hey guys!
So, I'm on day 3 of the clear skin regimen. Now, I never had acne before, only some small bumps here and there although at one point when I was 13 my forehead was basically covered in what I assume were papules, which did not last long because when I went on vacation to Arizona, for some reason my skin virtually cleared up, and since then I never had a problem with my skin (I'm now almost 19). It wasn't until about a year ago, right before I left for my freshman year of college that my skin started to break out. It wasn't bad, just in a new spot - I've never had acne on my chin before. At first, the break out looked like eczema, which I have dealt with all my love and have gotten on my face before. So I tried treating it the way I've done before, and it started to go away - at least the irritation did. but then, when it started to clear up in about October, it got worse again after Thanksgiving break. Finally, over winter break, my skin was so bad, and I was so upset, that I turned to Proactiv which accomplished nothing (I used it up until about a week ago). I turned to acne.org for the clear skin regimen.
Now, it's been 2 days of religiously following the regimen and my skin is no longer irritated, half the papules on my forehead are gone or significantly smaller, and my chin is clearing rapidly. Here's what I did - I followed the regimen steps (cleanser, benzoyl peroxide, moisturizer) but tried something slightly different. Instead of getting the products from acne.org, I am using Aveeno Active Naturals foaming gentle cleanser, and positively radiant skin moisturizer from the same brand, as well as Neutrogena 'On-the-Spot' in between for the peroxide. The reason I used these products is because (aside from the website listing on-the-spot as a product to use) I have used both the cleanser and the moisturizer before, a few years back when my skin reacted badly to some theater makeup and my skin broke out in eczema. When that happened, nothing I did worked, and my face felt like it was burning for about two weeks until I used the Active Naturals wash and moisturizer, and the irritation went away almost instantly.
I use all three of these products twice daily, in this order - cleanser, peroxide, moisturizer.
After two days of use, I'm hoping since my face feels 100 times better and looks much calmer as well, that this will work - because nothing else has, and this is working without burning my face.
So to those of you in the same position as I am, mild to moderate acne with very sensitive skin, if nothing has worked for you as of yet, maybe this might! I'm certainly seeing results and the cleanser/moisturizer has calmed my skin before.
Wishing everyone luck!
-Brittney

Ok, I started the Acne.org Regime last night.
History:
I've been dealing with acne since the very young age of eight. I have tried pretty much every topical and oral prescription medicine out there, including Accutane, which did basically nothing for me except make my lips super chapped. Until now, I've been attempting to control my acne with Clean and Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser, but it never got my skin clear, and recently my acne has been flaring up really badly.
Regimen:
Acne.org Regimen
I'm using:
Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser
Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment
Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer (Sensitive Skin) + SPF 15
This morning I can already see that some of my active acne is shrinking, and I don't have any new zits...so we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!

I should have done this before, because I'm quite clear now, but I still thought I'd make a log, and share my story.
I write a lot, so pics are below, if you just want to see my before/after. :]
*HISTORY: I've had acne since I was 13/14. I didn't make much of it. I had pretty average acne in the T-zone. I tried some Neutrogena products to combat this, without good results. Ah, well. But as time went on, and as a teenage girl, I started getting really self-conscious, especially because the blemishes were getting worse. I wanted immediate action.
So I finally went to my dermatologist, who prescribed me Duac, BenzaClin, Differin, and antibiotics (not all at once - but that's all the prescriptions I got, in the end). The antibiotics helped with minor body acne (back/shoulders). My face cleared up, as well, but there always seemed to be pimples waiting to sprout. My face reached, MAYBE, 65-70% clear. The prescriptions were a little strong for me, and always dried my face out WAY TOO MUCH. My derm never mentioned
moisturizer or
sunscreen, so the lack of those probably did some more damage over the years.
But then my acne suddenly shifted from my T-zone to my cheeks. (I'm not exactly sure what happened, but my cheeks and mouth area became the prominent trouble spots.) I dropped use of everything, and pretty much freaked out. I didn't want to keep paying for the prescriptions, and my mom wasn't too keen on me taking antibiotic pills in the first place. The results I was getting, for the dollars paid, wasn't worth it.
Eventually, I picked up AcneFree, and at first, I thought I had reached a new breakthrough. My skin was clearing up, again! Unfortunately, with prolonged use, the stuff crapped up my face even more than ever. I never thought twice about the terrible consistency of the AcneFree benzoyl peroxide, either, until I tried the DKR. I (stupidly) stayed with AcneFree, for a year or so.
I have been aware of acne.org for a while, but never bought the products until my junior year.
*MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE DKR:I don't know how to explain it, but I had an urgent feeling that the acne.org system would be THE ANSWER. I asked for it as a birthday present (what a nerd), along with my parents' full support. (I got that, and a new camera, so it was pretty awesome!) I started the regimen immediately, and threw away my leftover acne treatments.
By the beginning of the 2nd week, I went through that dreaded "purging" period. But by the 3rd week, I'm happy to say, my face was the clearest I'd ever seen it. I must admit, I built up to 1.5 pumps a bit too quickly, and my skin was super-dry, but the acne was GOING AWAY. ^__^
All I had left after that point was hormonal acne (monthly, ugh), the occasional breakout, hyper pigmentation, and scarring. For a chronic pimple popper, my scars weren't too bad. I still have some on my cheeks, but that's about it. Most of it is now discoloration/marks (which are verrry annoying, actually, because I'm so impatient).
Overall, my face is probably 90-95% clear!
Plug for Dan, here: I love Dan's BP!!! It's the best BP I've ever used. The cleanser has been a bit over-drying, and the moisturizer makes me red for a while, but I have quite a few stocked up (so I'm not thinking of replacements, at the moment). I'll have the whole acne.org kit once I get the jojoba oil and AHA+, muahahahahaha.
*PICTURES:I don't know why I censored the first batch of pictures, because I'm posting full face pictures, anyway. Haha. Yeah.

THE ABOVE PICTURES ARE MY RESULTS
JUST WITH THE DKR. My diet change wasn't factored in yet. Also, I'm not wearing (and rarely do wear) make-up, so this is the real deal, yo!
