Hi,
Names Josh. Im not gonna bore you with my acne life story, but I hope this can help me and others. I have had oily skin for about 2 years now. Ive been washing my face twice a day with dead sea salt for about 6 months. It really works, but I still have pimples. (a whole lot less than I used to without the sea salt. Usually they are whiteheads that are under the skin.) I believe it is from the time the sea salt wears off to the next time I wash. When I wash my face with it, it makes my face feel great, and the oil is all dried up. I have noticed whenever we go to the ocean, my acne dissapears. (This is what this topic is about, so if there is another topic about this, please direct me) Q. Does anyone know if this is because the sea salt is constantly on my face or in the air, and I should just wash my face more often with the salt to duplicate being at the ocean? I have heard washing your face too often is bad, and can make it worse. But this is the only thing I do to my face other than apply benzyl peroxide 2.5% every night. Which I have also done on vacation. So the only thing that is different is the constant exposure to the salty water. I should also say, that my first wash is in the morning anytime between 4 am and 6 am, and the second time is when I get home from work at 5. I am very greatful to anyone who responds to this. Thank you very much, Josh |
