i used AHA for 2 days then stopped
because i developed dry skin and stinging around my mouth (dont know why) and breakout everywhere
my lips also got a ring of dryness

5 days later its still here

Wow weird, I have the same problem. But the stinging of the mouth thing is only when I have the AHA applied and accidentally get water on the area. And I tend to notice that while AHA does make the skin feel hydrated when it is applied whenever that it is washed off the skin underneath becomes dry and rough. It is also causing some parts of my face to start flaking I think.

Regardless, I stopped using AHA. At least for awhile to let my skin take a break (been using it for 3 weeks now). Initially there was lots of purging (i.e. breakouts in forms of whiteheads and pustles), but that mostly has stopped now. So if you're getting breakouts, it might just be your skin purging (bringing all the gunk up to the surface to extract off). Try using it less frequently and for a longer period for better results I would suggest.

yeah i figured a couple days would be enough for the purging to stop

today my cheeks are severly dry and my lips and areas around are even worse
its been a f'ing week since i stopped and i only applied twice
wth is in this stuff

ive been using a LOT of chapstick to sooth lol like every hour is this bad
i cant really apply the moisturizer cuz it stings and turns my face red
dans products are out to get me

and it sucks ccuz i cant even smile or it will feel horrible and skin will turn white

update. still dry skin around mouth altho goin away slowly. moisturizer STLIL stings everytime i put it on

all this for using AHA twice. i dont believe it

biut

i still wake up everyday with flakes around my mouth
and feels like my lips are plump
moisturizer still makes face red

still have a small patch of dry skin on left side of mouth. face feels less tense though
wow 3 weeks of bs from 2 use of AHA
