1-2 months were a bitch
3 months things were significantly improving 4 months stopped getting new pimples 5 months working on getting rid of scars still no active pimples... and by the way my regime is EXACTLY identical to yours (except im taking couple supplements) |

That's funny that your regimen is the same as mine. I have been looking for someone who took/taking the same dosage as myself. I'm also taking supplements too, 2 fish oil pills and 1 vitamin E a day. What did you take that you felt helped you while on the drug? AND THANKS IN ADVANCE!

After almost 30 years of mild/moderate acne, I cleared up my skin (and eradicated years of sun damage) with a combination of a high-retinol gel called Green Cream and gentle exfoliation. Here's my regimen log Last fall, after intensive treatment with antibiotics for a bacterial infection, I developed a fungal infection called folliculitis ..... itchy red bumps along my hairline, forehead, and jaw. So now I fight folliculitis AND acne with: 10mg Accutane once every 7 days (maintenance dose, down from 10mg/day); Face Reality 8% and 15% mandelic acid serum; and Vivant Spin Trap C&E serum (contains propylene glycol). I use Kiehl's Abyssine Cream to moisturize when the weather gets cold and dry. STATUS: My skin looks great; clear, soft, and glowing. Folliculitis is mostly under control but still with me. |

My acne was moderate. I started clearing around week 8, and was totally clear by week 11. I'm on week 14 and only get tiny clogged pores that leave quickly. I still have blackheads on my nose, but I'm on a low dose, so it'll probably take a while for them to clear.

Didn't start clearing till like month 7 and only then it was a slight improvement. Didn't start to see real results till the month after I finished and even then never cleared completely.

started with severe acne. In mid August 2006 I started on 80mg a day until January.
month 1 = FFFFFUUUUCCKKKK month 2 = SHHHHIIIIITTTTT + scarring month 3 = baaallllllllllllllssss + moar scarring month 4 = better month 5-6ish = GODLY then for another 5 months or so i was clear. Around the six month mark I started to get mild-moderate-somewhat severish (in quality) acne again. This was a year after i went on my first trial. Because I hate acne SO much, I went on a second trial: month 1 = breakout month 2 = cool month 3 = clearish month 4 = clear month 5 = clear (but I got a couple random somewhat bad breakouts throughout) post tane (round II) = clear until around july this year. My skin was AWESOME. Now I've got mild-moderate acne I'd say, however I've had some cysts, I would not call it severe acne after what I went through in 2006. Thinking about round III... |

IT WORKED BEAUTIFULLY FOR ME!!! |
