sorry to hear, I get cyst too, but Ive tried this and it seems to help even with cyst, its worth a try for you and its cheap, try it and tell if it works,

I bought Phillips plain formula Milk of Magnesia and put it in spray mist bottle and applied it to my back and t-zone on face. Its not over drying either.
Use Phillips plain formula Milk of Magnesia only, not the flavored kind.

Oh my.. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. I know how you feel. It definitely takes a toll on the emotions and self-esteem. Your back looks like it's really irritated. My back use to be a mess. I had my mom apply a thick layer of PURE aloe vera every night and sometimes in the morning. It soothes and conditions the skin while drying up bumps and oozing.

If worse comes to worse, I think you should have a doctor look at it. Not necessarily a dermatologist (can get reeeally pricey), but your family physician. It could be something serious that needs a doctor's help, then again it could be a simple allergic reaction to maybe your soap.

And if it makes you feel any better, skin issues aside, your body is beautiful. blush.gif

Hi, if you are in the military you should have medical insurance. I don't think it's cancer though, it looks like severe cystic acne. But for peace of mind you should definately have it checked at a hospital. I know they can hurt really bad and be a pain at night whilst you try to sleep. I suggest you change your t-shirts regularly and wash them in hot water to kill bacteria and avoid spreading them further. I really hope you find something that works soon. Good luck . BTW I thought this was a pretty good bacne thread http://www.acne.org/messageboard/bacne-lon...40#entry2313140 it has lots of stuff that people hav tried, what has worked for some, what hasn't etc... maybe you can get some ideas from there .

My boyfriend's back used to look like yours, just a little more widespread. At 28, he's starting to grow out of it. No meds he tried (didn't try Accutane) helped much then (they do now), but maybe you'll eventually be done with this, too, like him.

dude..i do have the same problems as you now..im 22 and i started having back acne like 3 years ago..i believe mine is as bad as yours, maybe worse than yours coz the worst thing is that i am living with the reddish/brownish scars that has been embedded in my skin for all the 3 years of back acne hell..

i have tried almost everything too..all kinds of antibacterial washes and salycilic washes..creams..antibiotics..it don't work..i've also tried 6 sessions of chemical peels..14 sessions of "whitening" treatment for my scars but it totally don't fade a thing..spend like almost 2000 bucks on these shit but it aint worth a penny!!

i understand how you feel..i sometimes feel so depressed about this problem..i believe this back acne thingy is genetics..coz my dad suffered from severe back acne in the past too..but now he's already 50+ years old,he no longer has it..oh man!!i can never wait until that long to to clear it up!!so i believe either your dad or mom used to suffer from back acne..maybe you can ask them about it..

anways..i am now takking accutane..for like a month already..haven't seen improvements yet but i believe this is the only way out to treat severe body acne..you should try it out dude..although it might be a little bit costly..

acne like this won't respond to topicals, aas the cause is deeply embedded within your body, you need to take oral medication, ar eyou seing a doctor yet? You said intibiotics.. well they take allong time to work, and sometimes you change types as not all antibuiotics work on the same people.

try this- eat a carton of ACTIVIA yogurt everyday. once for breakfast and one before bed. You will have more bowel movements BUT it should help get those toxins through your body.

I have bacne too and when i was eating activia, my skin was quickly clearing up. once i stopped however, it quickly went back to its ways.

a four pack of activia yogurt will last you 2 days and costs about $3.50. You can buy a 24 pack at costco for about $10.50.

Do try it. Although my acne isnt as as bad as yours, activia helps it alot. I was 90% clear after 1 1/2 weeks. Also, try your acne prone areas with paper towel softly. PAT SOFTLY. The acne bacteria stays in towels even after being washed as told to me by my facialist. I think using apper towels have helped keep my skin clear.

I also don't use BAR soap- it leaves residue on your skin. Try use something like cetaphil instead.

I hope this helps!
