I had NO idea that this could effect your eyes!
I am finishing up Accutane and have all the redness and flushing, but another big problem I have had is my eyes being bloodshot all the time! Red, itchy, dry, bloodshot. Ive been googling this like crazy now! lol
Can anyone else relate?

Have you been diagnosed with rosacea? If you have and you think it is affecting your eyes speak with your derm as soon as you can.

If you have NOT been diagnosed with rosacea, ask your derm if you might have it. My guess though is that the accutane itself is simply making your eyes red. It happens a lot with accutane.

Accutane does indeed induce rosacea, my derm who is the best in the UK states that it is fairly common. Sometimes resolves, sometimes doesn't. Ocular rosacea can be a bastard, topical rosex gel, low dose flaxseed oil and low viscosity tear replacements work best.

I have always had red, gritty eyes. Accutane seems to make my eyes drier (a very common side effect) and therefore more red and gritty.

This does not necessarily mean you have rosacea, you really have to have that diagnosed. Many people think they have it but actually do not.

Ocular rosacea is also common with rosacea as Lamarr said. Look at some pictures of Bill Clinton, he has rosacea and it affects his eyes.
