Stopped Accutane, would Minocin work?

Hey guys,

I have been on Accutane on and off for the past 12 months (initially 10mg x 2pills daily, then down to 10mg x 1 pill for the last 2 or 3 months) which helped tremendously. My skin cleared up and was no longer oily. Yesterday my derma said I have to stop Accutane for at least 6 months so he's prescribing Minocin instead.

Just before I was prescribed Minocin I had stopped taking accutane for a month. As a result the pimples started coming back aggressively, though not as bad as it was before I started taking Accutane. This has happened a few times in the past when I stopped my medication for durations lasting no longer than 2 - 4 week. Seeing as my skin can't seem to live without Accutane, would Minocin actually work?
