| Pros | There are a LOT. This line is made in the US and has been for 80+ years. The products do what they say they're going to do. You can try EVERYTHING before you buy it, and they have a good return policy. The people behind the counter KNOW the products. They have more formulas and colors of foundation than any other line. If they can't match you, no one can. Many studios offer a FREE Express Facial. Makeup Lessons are always free. |

| Cons | Nobody knows about this fantastic line of skin care and cosmetics. People comment on my makeup and ask what I use all the time. When I tell them Merle Norman they look at me like I have two heads and say, "Never heard of it." |
| Bottom line | I've used Merle Norman for 35 years. They've had appropriate products for me during every stage of my life. They came out with the Wrinkle Smoother line just in time for me! I'm 49 and people think I'm in my early 30's. To Sad but True in Virginia, I have a jar of Cleansing Cream in my bathroom right now. It's in the old packaging, and there is no Rose Oil in it. As far back as I can remember, there never has been. |

| Pros | I have used Merle Norman Powder Base since I was 16. I am now 64. My mother used it and turned my sisters and I onto it years ago. None of us have any wrinkles. I think it is because the Powder Base has zinc oxide in it and it has protected our skin. |
|---|---|
| Cons | It can sometimes be a little thick so you have to blend it with some moisturizer when applying. I would never use anything else. Great stuff but hard to find. I mail order. |

| Pros | I have used Merle Norman for over 30 years and I did love the product but NOW |
|---|---|
| Cons | Watch out ladies they have changed the ingredients and Quantity. Total Finish went from 80 oz to 55 oz and everything else is much smaller. Took the Rose Oil of the Pink Cleansing Cream. Still the same high cost even after they cut their products. Do not let the new packing fool you. Thanks |
| Bottom line | Going to look around for something that last, cannot afford to purchase the products every three weeks. I cannot trust Merle Norman on my skin and quess what they may take out next and it will no longer work for me. |

| Pros | I am 51, started using this product at 15. This product will carry you through every stage of your life. I started my daughter on the skin care at 14. Even used it on my son to keep his skin clear. Energizer is LIQUID GOLD and EVERYONE can use it. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Not sold online and some smaller towns don't have a Merle Norman. I am in Afghanistan and my family mails mine. |
| Bottom line | You can't go wrong. A gentle way of skin care and make-up products for any type of skin and for any preference. Worth the money spent on it. |

| Pros | reasonably inexpensive as bought as a living social deal for european facial at $37 |
|---|---|
| Cons | Did not set expectations properly. Esthetician cleaned my face and gave me a sales pitch to buy more product for 5 min. then left for 20 min to steam my face. Came back, put product on me and left me for another 20 minutes for it to dry. No real attention. It was not a relaxing experience and I felt abandoned. If she said she would be back in 20 min I would have known, but I thought she had simply forgotten me. |
| Bottom line | Would never go there again... worst facial I've ever had. It was like a production line where she could have been doing 3 people at the same time. |

| Pros | Great products! Keeps my skin looking young. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Can buy only in Merle Norman studios. Find something I like and they discontinue it. |
| Bottom line | I've used Merle Norman products for 55 years...wouldn't use any other product. My only complaint is that I get to like a product and they discontinue it. Sometimes, I can find them online, though, through Google or Yahoo search. |

| Pros | I am 62 and have used Merle Norman products since I was 16. I am NEVER guessed to be my age - people think I'm in my forties! My daughter also uses and at 40 looks more like 30. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Not sold online. I have to travel at least 25 miles to get to a studio. |
| Bottom line | Although their products are pricier than the "drug store" brands their cost is in line with department store brands and they actually work. |

| Pros | every product in merle norman is amazing! i am 58 years old and have used their products since i was 18. i am always guessed in my forties! i get occasional fever blisters and can safely use their powder base and it covers completely! |
|---|---|
| Cons | none whatsoever. |
| Bottom line | i have tried many many products over the years and will never switch from merle norman again. even the mascara is wonderful! believe me the original powder base makeup and luxiva powder covers all flaws without an artifical look. my 20 something year old nieces are now convinced merle norman is the only makeup to use. i work in the public and when you have strangers ask what you use because your skin is perfect, (i have a very rough complexion) you know your makeup is right! the other wonderful thing is it seems to last forever! i just can't say enough positive things. we only have 1 merle norman studio in our area but i would actually pay for shipping if they ever decided to move out of the area to get my products. |

| Pros | I have dry, sensitive skin and have tried just about everything out there in the department stores and on the shopping channels. This past January I went in for a consult and was introduced to products that actually made my skin feel like silk! |
|---|---|
| Cons | So far I cannot think of any other than some of the products may be a bit pricey....but then again they last a long time and do what they say they will do. You really will see result once you make the investment. |
| Bottom line | The Luxiva line is a true luxury. My skin care routine feels like real treat as the texture of the products is so soothing to my skin. If you have ever considered popping in for a consult....make the appointment. You will leave educated, informed and hopefully with a little bag that will help to solve your skin care issues! |
