Pros: cleared up my skin within a month (90% clear, fades away scars, skin feels smooth and soft Cons: none Bottom Line: This has completely worked for my moderate acne. I don't know if it's just the pills or if it's the clindoxyl gel also. Give it a try!!!! Also, if you're in Toronto go to Dr. Geller's acne clinic in Woodbridge. She's AMAZING! Pros: Cleared up acne in a couple days. Kept my skin from getting so oily and I couldn't make my skin break out if i tried!! I stopped taking it for a while and did break out but only in small amounts. No giant pimples again. Cons: I had no bad side effects. Its just expensive if you don't have insurance. Pros: nothing so far Cons: i feel sick all the time, mostly dizzy and nauseated. I feel tired and depressed a large amount of the time it sucks! Pros: Easy to take. I only take it in the morning and before bed.50 mg, 2x a day...and my insurance paid for it. No tummy pains for me. Cons: Takes a while to work but worth it. Bottom Line: I have tried almost everything to clear up my acne. I got minocycline 50 mg 2x a day. I have been using it for 3 months (finished my 3rd bottle today). The first 2 months, I would still get breakouts, but they weren't as bad as before (puss..ewww) I would use Stievamycin medium strength to kill the acne and it helps b/c the acne gets smaller one day after applying and it doesn't hurt as much. Today, was the first time in years that I didn't have a breakout. I only had one breakout during my period but it was a tiny one! I think the key is being consistent. Pros: Just controlled my acne, didn't make it go away. It has been a year and have seen no improvements since I started. Cons: No side effects for me, luckily. Pros: id like to think that it is working. my dermotologist started me on this about five days ago. i broke out way too much, i just pray to god it goes away!! please!! Cons: major dizziness, it was as if i were drunk walking..lol staguring everywhere...lol jokin but it did get me really dizzy Bottom Line: i pray it works... Pros: shows good results and took at least 3 weeks for my skin to show good results Cons: once i went off it, all my acne came back Bottom Line: its great while your on it, cleared my skin up totally and all my scars dissapered but once i came off it all of my breakouts came back. depressing really! Pros: I have suffered with acute acne to cystic acne almost 35 years. My face looks awesome, no spots or boils. AT ALL. HOwever I am also on Differin .3 and Finacea and Benz Perox wash as well as a glycolic wash plus a mud/vinegar mask Cons: I have never had a weight problem in my life but now I have gained 30 pounds. I was always skinny so the weight actually doesn't look bad, but I am still gaining & can not stop without stopping meds. Bottom Line: Everyone reacts differently to medications. For me and my above mentioned cocktail this works.
