| Pros: | Seems to be working so far- but its only been 1 week. Easy to apply and no harsh smell. |
| Cons: | None yet, except a little dryness but nothing a good moisturiser cant handle! |
| Bottom Line: | I have only been using for a week, and have mild acne on my cheeks. Comedones under the skin which just appear as tiny bumps. So far it seems to have drawn out the biggest ones but the differin dries them up really quickly. It seems to be drying and shrinking up the smaller comedones. I have have 2 courses of accutane (oral) in the past which has been the best treatment by far but my GP wanted me to try differin first this time. Skin has dried a little but I use a good moisturiser in the am and a night cream at night once the differin cream has all soaked in. So far I am pleased that I havent had a massive break out, and I can already see that the surface of my skin is smoother. I will post again in a few weeks. |

| Pros: | No serious flaking or dryness. This works well for people with oily skin. No need for moisturizer after application. It doesn't bleach my sheets either! |
| Cons: | Dried out the creases of my nose and chin, but after I stopped applying there, it stopped drying it out. No big deal. Acne is surfacing... but it's not that bad. |
| Bottom Line: | There is no overnight cure for acne. Give this product a try. It's only going to pull out the acne that you'll experience at some point or another. You might as well get it over with now. I know it's embarrassing-- I KNOW! But you owe it to yourself to invest your time into a treatment that will provide a lasting effect, and not something that will clear surface stuff. I can't wait for the coming weeks and months, even if I continue to have breakouts. I'm ready to have clear skin, ya'll.. |

| Pros: | easy to apply, only small amount needed, once a day dosage is great |
| Cons: | skin sensitivity, skin gets worse before it gets better |
| Bottom Line: | I was hesitant at first to use this product because I knew my skin would breakout badly before I saw any improvement. I decided to get over it, and just do it because I was tired of suffering daily with breakouts. I noticed no real change until about 3 weeks into treatment. At about 3 weeks my skin broke out horribly, and I had acne on places of my face I never had it before. It took about two weeks for all the bumps to go down, and since then, I have had no major breakouts. My skin may have a few small bumps from time to time, but nobody but me would notice. My skin texture is smoother, and less oily. I do have skin sensitivity with this product, but it is mild. I can counteract any dryness with an oil free moisturizer, so no problems there. I plan to continue using differin. If you are not sure if you want to use it, or if you are using it with no results, I say stick it out at least 3 months. It may really help you. Why waste more time with acne!!!!! |

| Pros: | I am post acutane patient of one year and my acne and oily skin began to come back so I tried diffiren. Its clearing my skin back up very quickly. TRY BEFORE TRYING ACCUTANE!!!!! |
| Cons: | NONE so FAR. TRY BEFORE USING ACCUTANE!!!!!! THIS IS THE TOPICAL FORM OF ACCUTANE and you can avoid the side effects. |
| Bottom Line: | I completed a 6 month acutane treatment witch has been the most effective treatment I have used for acne. My acne is and has always been more of a pussy clogged poor that white greasy stuff comes out of when I pick at my face; I rarely have inflamed acne, unless I picked at it, than it looks inflamed. Acutane was successful and I was placed on tazorac after my treatment for maintenance. Tazorac made my skin ichy and oily but did keep pores somewhat clear. Acne began to come back and I gave up on tazorac. Did not use anything for a while, and skin got pretty bad. My dermatologist recommended that I try differin before I try accutane again because of the side affects (which are true, I lost weight, energy, and mood changed significantly and joints ached not to mention horrible dry lips). DIFFERIN WORKED FOR ME!!!! Its quickly clearing out my pores and my clear skin is coming back!!!! Give it a TRY BEFORE ACCUTANE!!!! |

| Pros: | So far so good, face is staying pretty much the same... |
| Cons: | but did see a few pimples come up but I believe its because the differin is pulling everything from under the skin...so i am sure it will start clearing up once all the bacteria under the skin comes up to the surface. |
| Bottom Line: | will update in a few weeks |

| Bottom Line: | I just started DIfferin two weeks ago. And, I am rather afraid...my face had a bit of tiny bumps on/around my chin (but it's not always that calm...my face changes often)but since I've been on Differin, I've been getting worse acne around my chin and nose...and now on my forehead...little ones...and now the little ones clump so close together, they'll make random big ones. Very frustrating...I'm hoping it will get better, everyone seems to be saying wait through it, so I'm going to try to have patience, but I am not liking the idea of it getting even worse than it is now. Not good. Will give more results when time passes. Thanks again to everyone with their input! |

| Pros: | Differin is the best! It totally cleared up my skin, and I've tried many other products, (Pro activ, murad, oral medicine, etc) i love it. |
| Cons: | Made my skin a bit flaky and dry in the beginning but after about 3 months, my skin got better and now it looks great! |
| Bottom Line: | Everyone's skin is different, so it may or may not work for you, luckily though, for me it has worked. If you are having difficulty treating your acne and can't find a solution, you should definitely try Differin, it is my life saver. |
