| Pros | Reduced Acne Scars Almost Immediately! Reduces Redness Reduces Breakouts Smells Good |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stings SO MUCH Slightly red skin |
| Bottom line | This is amazing, I JUST did this tonight and my acne scars are already faded slightly! Amazing, I've tried Proactive, Accutane, and Tazorac but lemon juice is BY FAR the best! Very cheap too!, all you do is take a half lemon squeezed into a bowl, tip a cotton ball into it and apply to the skin, let it stand for 5 - 15 min then apply a warm cloth to skin, you might feel it sting again when the cloth is applied, but that is only temporary. And make sure you wash your face with any cleanser you use before you try it out! |

| Pros | It Works ~ and Fast! |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stings, itches |
| Bottom line | Try it! I have tried everything Proactive, Acutane, expensive brands, Acne Surgery, Epiduo, Trention, Clyndimycin, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, everything, and nothing works as well as lemon. when I first found this post I figured I would try it, but I did not expect results. I had just broken out bad too, so I was expecting it would take months for everything to clear up. However within the first 3 days I noticed amazing results!! My skin is now clear of all active breakouts. I have a few scars that are quickly healing but overall I am thrilled with the results. I am continuing to get acne surgeries, but less frequently. Hopefully, in a few months I will have the skin I always dreamed of. TRY IT! |

| Pros | Very Effective! |
|---|---|
| Cons | Minor sting, due to it's purity of alpha hydroxy acid, and vitamin C content. |
| Bottom line | Hello to all who are thinking of using lemons:) You have come to the right place to check in. I never had acne ever until I reached my late 30's. I'm a professional skin care and makeup artist of over 20 years. And is recommended if: You have moderately oily to oily skin An olive skin complexion, medium to dark Or you can handle minor to effective stinging Cystic acne is a problem. I have used this from the age of 25, to now currently more so now due to cystic acne- hormonal. Earlier days was for tightening and refreshed look of minor problems Now I use everyday 2x a day morn and night. I have olive skin who can take the lil tingle it results due to the purity of the alpha hydroxy The vitamin C is perfect for aging skin! This is the finest and Best in skin care on the natural side of things, and Works! Extremely Effective! Taking your cleanser first washing your face with a washcloth then removing, allow skin to breathe for a few sec to 3 min, before applying the half lemon directly to the skin. Take your half lemon seeds and all and rub all over the face, being careful not to squeeze into your eyes. Leave on the skin for even up to 5-10 minutes.. Then apply your warm cloth to the face by placing and holding rinse again then place and hold- do not rub. Again, using warm water. Using warm water increases the alpha hydroxy acid a bit more to increase circulation Watch now how your skin looks! Severe acne results almost overnight! You may have to lance acne before using lemon to promote proper results.. Note: due to the major sebum(oil) that has produced inside, needs to be removed .. Your face will thank you!!! Trust me! I have used and is wonderful.. As I have told my students.. Back in the day of no walmarts, superstores, or shoppers drugmarts, or dept. Stores... Africans are the people who used natural uses... All fruit on their skin! Amazing results! Try it and love your skin.. A |

| Pros | Fades acne scars! Prevents future breakouts Clears skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | May take awhile to see improvement May sting at first If left on overnight it can cause the skin to peel |
| Bottom line | At first I was discouraged because I didn't see immediate improvement in my acne or in my acne scars. However in combination to drinking this (lemon juice mixed with water, do not drink it pure, you must dilute it with water) at least once a day and applying it to my face, I have noticed that my acne scars which I have had for at least a few months have started to heal within a few weeks of continuous use. Because of hormones I would have a few large pimples every now and then. I recently had to battle with a large one on my cheek and while it subsided, it left a dark scar. I started applying this on my face throughout the day for the past three days and what inspired me to write this review is that this scar has faded to a considerable level! I have been using it for only a month so i'm not sure if it completely fades acne scars but I do know that they lighten them. So try it out! But be careful because some might find that their skin will be too sensitive for lemon juice so I would recommend just drinking a mixture of lemon juice and water instead (and drink through a straw to protect your teeth enamel). As a warning even though I don't have sensitive skin, I have super oily skin, I did experience a considerable stinging sensation when I first tried it so take it easy at first and wash it off after a few minutes or so and gradually build up to leaving it on for a few hours, but I wouldn't recommend leaving it on overnight. Good luck with lemons and if you're looking for something else to drink then check out drinking Green Tea which also has many skin benefits. |

| Pros | My skin has been nothing but clear since the first week i've been using lemon juice. 1 lemon lasts me almost a whole week. I cut off a slice, squeeze it onto a cotton pad and use as an astringent. It is single handedly the best acne treatment of my life. I'm 33 and would get cystic acne that was heartbreaking. I HIGHLY recommend this remedy. A+++ |

| Cons | Doesn't even dry me out, no cons for me! |
| Bottom line | It works, it's cheap, it WORKS! |

| Pros | Clears up acne Gets rid of acne scars Gives you an even skin tone Cheap Smells lovely |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stings slightly Pulp! |
| Bottom line | Everyone should give this a go! Yes it stings slightly but not for long. I've heard that it dries the skin but that's easily fixed with moisturiser. You'll have to apply it several times a day and leave it on over night. It's cheaper than peroxide cream and not as harmful. It really is the best acne cure. |

| Pros | None. |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Made my face dry -Burns!!!! -Makes my face red -Makes acne worse |
| Bottom line | I used this for 2 days and my skin burned. It looked like someone spilt hot, boiling tea all over my face. It's horrible. I had to get an expensive cream to get my skin back to normal. I wouldn't reccomend this for people who have sensitive skin. -_- |
