Pros This is one aspect of the whole regimine I have adopted in the last couple of months that actually works and works well. It is inexpensive compared to topical perscription topicals and it is so simple.
Cons Sometimes it feels a little itchy until I apply the Jojoba and cetaphil mixture on top.
Bottom line Lemon juice applied directly to my face ? It seemed silly at first, but haven't I tried about everything over the years ? Yes. You know, it is easy, smells nice, and I like the way it tones my skin.

Pros Great stuff! Dissolves blackheads and big, clogged
pores fast!
Cons Only that you have to use natural lemons, which is a little inconvenient but not that bad
Bottom line Once a night, I squeeze out some juice from a lemon and rub it on my nose and certain parts of my cheeks. It is the only thing that works on blackheads! I had those big pores full of gross clogs, but this has dissolved 70% of them in one week! Try it. It might work for you

Pros None!
Cons Stings and has no affect!
Bottom line I tried this method with honey and it had no affect what so ever! My scarring on my face was bad and after putting on the lemon and honey, they faded but after an hour or so they were back! This was not the only method i have used which does not work. i have used 'Bio oil' also which had the same outcome and this cost alot more (from £8.95).

However, I researched some more and found that vitamin e is supposed to help fading. IT WORKS!
I have been using a vitamin e cleansing lotion (79p, Boots), a vitamin e toner (79p, Boots) and a vitamin e moisturiser (79p, Boots or 'Vitamin e creme', Holland and Barratt which costs £2.49 but has better affects) twice a day in that order for about a month and the scars are nearly gone (be persistant). Also, for my acne I apply 'Germaline Antiseptic cream' (£2.79, Boots) freely when ever I can, along with 2 tablets of 'HRI clear complexion' (£3.90, Boots) everyday.

IT WORKS PERFECTLY. It is more expensive. But is twice as affective

Pros affordable
Cons none so far
Bottom line I just started applying lemon juice to my face. I mix it with evaporated cane juice as an exfoliant. I hope this works. I am also drinking one lemon a day mixed with hot water. I guess it's worth a shot since there are so many good reviews I am reading.

Pros Inexpensive; works great; makes your skin glow; helps scars fade; make my skin color appear more olive and even toned!
Cons None, really. It's natural and more effective than any other product I've used. May dry out your skin a bit. I put honey on afterwords. My regimin in the morning is using a natural based cleanser followed by natural based moisturizers with SPF...
Bottom line My regimin in the morning is using a natural based cleanser followed by natural based moisturizers with SPF...At night, I apply lemon for 15 minutes, followed by honey mask. Honey helps me retain moisture, as my skin does dry a bit. I break out moderately, more so during my period. Lemon helps any existing acne dry out quicker.
