| Pros | quick results, within a week or so...can see improvement in 2 days maybe less!depending on the person..fades acne scars and marks(potential scars or recently popped pimples) |
|---|---|
| Cons | burns a little...none really, hasnt really had too much effect on my acne |
| Bottom line | I noticed that my bumps werent really the problem..a few bumps dont really bother me but all of the marks they leave behind that make it look like you have more acne than you actually do were starting to get a little depressing! :( So I've been drinking lots of water, taking a multivitamin...using vitamin e as a moisturizer and using LEMONS! as a spot treatment at night. Just cut a small slice, squeeze the juice apply with qtip to pimples and marks(discoloration) scars etc. I also tried a honey mask but that was only once.. My acne marks are actually fading very quickly!! I recommend that anyone who has more scars than bumps give this a try. My scars almost match the color of my skin its great! I've still got a little ways to go but its only been 3 days. i think its a lifestyle change if u want to get rid of acne...but not a huge change its the little things that count..water, vitamins etc. ..if youve been using lots of chemical this may be a good alternative...GOOD LUCK EVERYON |

| Pros | Refreshing on skin, fades blemishes, gives you a glow, tightens pores, reduce pimple swelling |
|---|---|
| Cons | burns on popped, fresh pimples |
| Bottom line | Here's what I do: 1. At night, I make a baking soda mask, leave on for 20 minutes, Wash face. 2. Use Q-tip to apply fresh lemon juice 3. Wait til dry 4. Use Aloe Vera as a moisturizer When you wake up, face should be smoother and pores are tightened. In the morning, I wash my face with mild soap (instead of baking soda mask) followed by step 2,3,4(Sensitive skin, Dont use in the moring) .I also substitute baking soda mask with aspirin mask w/ water once a week.Baking soda removes dirt by lifting them. Lemon helps with blemishes and scars, and tightens pores, Aloe Vera quickly heals fresh pimples preventing scars as well as prevent new pimples. Aspirin helps the swelling of pimples. This works well, my scars are fading. Youl should notice results within 2 days and gets better overtime. No new pimples. Make sure you don't touch face with dirty hands (will cause you to break out more) TRY! IT WORKS |

| Pros | Skin is taut and glows after use. Gets rid of blemishes |
|---|---|
| Cons | Burns like an ass-whoopin'. Dries skin. Ageing over time. Skin darkens if used before going out in the sun. |
| Bottom line | I love the immediate results. Clears pimples, gives skin a nice greaseless glow. I use at night - never before going out in the sun. No noticeable fading of scars though. Also noticed the skin a bit crinkly. I think this product might be ageing. |

| Pros | Works well with my sensitive skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | It burn at first, but after a while it will fade |
| Bottom line | It works great! I had this huge pimple on my forehead a couple days ago and it was red after I popped it. I looked on this site and found a couple of home remedies and decided the lemon was the best. The results were fantastic! The huge red pimple that was on my forehead dried up and all my blemishes are subtly fading. I very happy with the results! |

| Pros | IT WORKS! |
|---|---|
| Cons | it buuuuuuurrrrnnnnssss |
| Bottom line | Okay so yesterday i was fed up with all these pimples and blemishes on my face. I feel like my face never clears up for more than a day or 2. So I went googling and found out the natural approach. HAHAHA i gave myself a facial with egg yolks, i looked ridiculous, but it did make my face really smooth and soft. After my experimentation with that i used a fresh lemon from outside, squeezed it and swobbed it all over my face. It burned like AHHHH...! but after the burn my face was smoooooooooth! i was like what? The huge pimples on my face were less red and swollen and my red blemishes were looking better and this was just the first day. I did the lemon thing again this morning afte washing my face with my neutrogena that i use everyday; I can see the difference in my pores. I have NO idea why i havent used these damn lemons before! |

| Pros | Reduces spots, reduces irritation, fades year-old back scars/discolouration, makes skin glow!! |
|---|---|
| Cons | Oh, come now. The sting was barely noticeable and gone in a jiff! So, none that I can see :) |
| Bottom line | I have always been complimented on my complexion, but recently I've found myself breaking out every so often, and the break outs to be stubborn and rather annoying. And this is only my face. I've had a secret problem that comes up that I am forced to hide in shame - bacne, UGH. My chest, shoulders and entire back sometimes break out with horrible red bumpy things! It's happening less and less, but the bane of my existance has now become the discolouration they leave behind. Year-old, brown/red discolouration/scars that look simply AWFUL - and are all over my back! Lemon juice is the only thing I've found works to visibly (and QUICKLY) make them fade! (It also helps rid me of those occasional facial breakouts, as well as the ones on my chest/shoulders/back - but I'm finding the biggest benefit to be the reduction of icky scarring) For a week now I've been rubbing fresh sliced lemon on my back/face/chest and squeezing the juice out - to excellent results! Give it a try, |

| Pros | lightens scarring & red marks helps reduce acne leaves skin soft |
|---|---|
| Cons | juicing lemons is somewhat annoying can sting your face |
| Bottom line | I've tried lots of acne products and medications, but lemon juice is the first thing I've tried that I've truly been impressed with and compelled to review positively. My scarring & red marks have noticeably lightened. My scarring and redness looks about as good as it used to look when I wore makeup. I'm very happy with it.It also softens my skin. I am lucky to be renting a house with 3 mature lemon trees. I juice a basketful about once a week and store the juice in the fridge. I pour some undiluted juice on a cotton pad after cleansing and toning at night. The sting doesn't bother me much anymore and I now use it straight & leave it unrinsed while sleeping at night. If I forget to use the lemon juice at night for a few days, I notice the difference and come crawling back in a hurry. I break out less, look better, my skin feels softer, and the results are immediate. I've also been drinking a lot of lemon juice which I think helps. I will never be without a lemon tree ag |

| Pros | Faded old acne scarring, cheap, smells good. |
|---|---|
| Cons | slight stinging if you have acne in that area. |
| Bottom line | I read that lemon juice could fade acne scars and I was desperate to try anything since I had these little annoying brown and red spots on my cheeks. I was using differin and it got rid of my acne but left small scars. I went to the grocery store, bought some lemons and gave it a try. I washed my face and applied the lemon juice (fresh) that was squeezed into a small bowl, and applied it with a Q-tip. This was the first time I tried this method and after 10 minutes I washed it off. After my face got less red (from washing it) I looked in the mirror and I was so happy. I could see that it was working already. My scars weren't completely gone though. Just not as noticeable. I can't wait to use it again tomorrow! |

| Pros | Clears up acne , lightens scars , in 2 weeks many of my marks/scars after acne is gone and I don't have a lot of pimples even though they're still there. |
|---|---|
| Cons | If you're allergic you might have a bad reaction to this including more breakouts and irritation |
| Bottom line | I have extremely sensitive skin after using acne products for 3 years so I actually had to dilute the lemon.. Here's what I did I took a lemon, took some of the juice and mixed with water until I had approximately 50% of each... Then I put it on my clean face and left it overnight. You have to give it a few weeks, good thing is you can skip a day every now and then, I also recommend combining with lemon as a drink. here's a page that explains some things with lemon.
