Pros:It really works! It clears up acne, prevents future breakouts and improves your overall complexion.
Cons:It stings a little when you put it on, but you get used to it.
Bottom Line:I apply the lemon juice from a fresh lemon after every time I wash my face. I wear it all day, and apply my make-up on top of it. I apply lemon juice again at night and wear it overnight. It has greatly improved my skin! I used to have bad cystic acne. Before the lemon, I was on all kinds of antibotics for a year and was using Retin-A for two years. They would work for a couple of months and then my body would become immune to it. I was about to get on Accutane but I was sick of taking pills. My mother suggested I try using a lemon. And I love it! It is all I use now!

Pros:Evens out skin tone, clears the face and keeps it looking fresh
Cons:Stings for a minute or so but subsides fast.
Bottom Line:I have very ugly scars on my chin from plucking hair....it just left me depressed and frustrated. Looked like I had a perpetual shadow when it was actually scars more than hair on my chin. I tried VitaK, Bio Oil, Mederma, dozens of moisturisers...all to no avail. Finally, I started applying lemon juice 2- 3 weeks ago coz my mom said that the dark tan on her elbows almost disappeared after she started applying lemon on them daily. I phoo phooed it initially coz, heck, lemons ! How good can a fruit be ? But anyways, I decided to give it a try, and lo behold ! Been great for me, the skin around my chin has evened out quite a bit...I use it around the mouth and chin area as well as on my nose and under my eyes. And after my first application, I scrub the area gently with sugar. So its a good exfoliator too...and all natural. This fruit does wonders. Try it...worked for me.

Pros:Works very well, and improvement can be observed the next morning. Also smells very wonderful. And another great thing, If the lemon juice drips from my face into my mouth, I love savoring the juice and knowing that it is very natural
Cons:Burns very badly. I have to hit my pillow very violently to relieve the pain.
Bottom Line:heel goed! You can also eat the lemon when ure finished or use the remains to make lemonade, maybe even set up a lemonade stand with the excess/runoff juice.

Pros:Its natural, its cheap,it smells good, sucks up the excess oil but doesnt dry the skin out too much, adds glow to the skin too.
Cons:stings and itches a bit the first few seconds of applying.
Bottom Line:I have used it diluted after my weekly facial regiments and undiluted feshly squeezed on other days.I apply my usual moisturiser over it and it stops itching. My scars have faded so much, its really amazing. When u have a fresh pimple, just apply lemon juice on it after squeezing out the pus and blood and it doesnt leave a scar.I tried this and it works. Now i get maybe one pimple a month and its one of those small whiteheads unlike before when i used to have at least 3 pus pimples every week.
My complexion has even out.I apply lemon juice mixed with olive oil on my body as well every night b4 i go to bed and my skin has improved too..no more pimples on my back and old scars fading.I dont need to shave as often because my skin is moisturised and very soft. Its the best thing that has happened to me since ive been plagued by acne the past 4 years.

Pros:Very cheap, natural, no side effects that I've noticed yet, really seems to have made a difference in my skin.
Cons:Slow at fading red spots
Bottom Line:I've never actually had acne except for some mild flare-ups during stressful times, but for some reason, I have had a two month major break-out that has been hitting me in waves. It seems to finally be in control and I think that lemom juice applied topically sped up the end of the process dramatically. If only I knew about it two months ago..
I've been using it for about two weeks today and my skin just has about three healing, faded pimples and nothing else! I wear it overnight. I had a particularly large pustule and lemon juice is what finally shrank it down. I'm not sure it would work for everyone but this is the clearest skin I've had in months and everyone has noticed. I'm finally getting my face back. This isn't the only thing I've been doing, though. The same time I started applying lemon juice, I also stared drinking water with a wedge of lemon squeezed in and I bought a Burdock root/Red Root compound at my local health store. Burdock is amazing for acne - look it up!

Pros:Something you can find easily, Cheaper then advertised products, and its a fruit.
Cons:If your skin is sensitive, then it might sting or itch, so you need to mix it with a little water.
Bottom Line:I've used to products like Acne-Free or proactive, to get rid of the black heads around my lips and some moderate acne, which showed little results. When I tried applying some lemon (juice squeezed from a lemon) I GOT FAST RESULTS THE NEXT DAY. This is worth trying once. I put some on at night with a little water and the next morning, black heads are lighter and other stuff. You have to try this. I was a little doubting the whole thing but I tried it once and got results. I never knew lemons can work miracles. Maybe I should put this on faded scars o__o
