| Pros | Works, tastes good |
|---|---|
| Cons | None really |
| Bottom line | Do NOT rely on this as your only acne product. I did, and for two days I ran out of lemons and had literally the worst breakout of my life. Huge cysts that I'm still trying to get rid of. Use it as a supplement. |

| Pros | Evens out skin tone, good for sensitive skin, natural. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stings mildly. |
| Bottom line | This is my regimen for nights: Wash with baby shampoo. Let air dry. Squeeze lemon juice onto a cotton pad. Rub onto heavily scarred areas. Wait 10 minutes. Apply olive oil. I have very sensitive skin, so I try using more natural products, or things like baby shampoo. I lately tried Neutrogena Deep Clean products, and they broke me out, so I have heavy scars on my cheeks. I use this whenever a product breaks me out at night for two weeks, and always fades my scars away. I don't use this all over my skin, though. I have sensitive skin, but it is otherwise normal, so the lemon is too drying. My friends with oily skin use it all over and it works for them Lemon juice (NOT concentrated--never use that) works to re-even my skin tone out, and also helps clear up any pimples I have. One week down, one more to go. |

| Pros | Clears acne FOR REAL |
|---|---|
| Cons | Burns, swelling, redness |
| Bottom line | Be PATIENT and it will work. Don't be too fast to dump the idea because things will get worse before they get better, but when they get better, its like a miracle. |

| Pros | Natural exfoliator, has sloughed off a lot of dead skin which I think was helping cause my acne (clogged pores), has already helped with the redness, is helping fade the post-inflammatory marks and it has only been about a week! Smaller pores, too :) |
|---|---|
| Cons | None really, a sting. Can lighten eyebrows I think so avoid using it there. Dries skin but I solved this with a little moisturizer and aloe vera gel. |
| Bottom line | I have had random acne on most of my face for years now and my right cheek has been a WAR zone the whole time. Like many women, I chose to try to cover it up with makeup, at least on the bad cheek where it was the worst. This only makes it worse and I believe it has clogged my pores over time. After using lemon for only a week (fresh sqeezed lemon, use less than a quarter to cover my entire CLEAN face ), I have been "picking out" dried clogs...Gross, but also great! Its like all the dead skin and makeup that accumulated on that bad cheek is "coming up". I had a few days of healing crisis, where a bunch of small witeheads cropped up. Blackheads also looked bigger, but thats because the skin was being exfoliated at a super rate. Since using lemon, I have had NO new pimples, pores are looking smaller and clearer, and maybe in a week or two I will feel confident enough to wear NO makeup on my bad cheek. The red marks are also getting better...Overall Im really happy! |

| Pros | Oily skin? GONE! Evened out skin tone. Fades old scarring/discoloration. Affordable toner. Shrinks pores. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stings but not too bad. I have sensitive skin and I can handle it. |
| Bottom line | Okay, I really didn't think this would work but I have only used the lemon juice three times and my skin is noticeably less oily and even toned. My scars are lighter, pores are somewhat smaller and it truly does make your skin "glow". I'm 25 and I have been suffering from acne for 10 years and this is the first time ever that I feel my skin has glowed and been less oily. I'm amazed! I have been applying fresh lemon juice all over my face with a cotton ball day and night. I do not wash it off. I'm very happy that it has been controlling my oil production during the day. Nothing has worked this well for me. Ever. |

| Pros | Smooth Skin, Very Affordable, Fades Scars Quick! |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stings a little but MY GOD is it worth it!!! |
| Bottom line | I have suffered from SEVERE! acne for the last 9yrs & I have used every single anti-biototic you can imagine including Roaccutane! Roaccuntane worked for a week then I came off it! I had never had a migraine in my life until I took that stuff, I was crying my eyes out in pain! So then i went on to try the Coconut Oil, that didnt work so well for me. So since reading the Lemon Juice Review I thought id give it a try! I use The Body Shop Coconut Oil Soap on my face & neck (which is where I suffer terribly with Acne, my neck is covered in scars!) & after the soap I put Lemon Juice on my face & neck (I use the pure stuff straight out the bottle!) I do this in the morning (leave it on all day & put my make-up on over the top of it) & at night I put it on & leave it on till the next morning. In 5 days my acne is basically gone & my scars are fading fast! I have never known anything like it! This stuff is amazing. Smooth soft skin, no bumps, no acne & fading scars!! TRY IT!!! SERIOUSL |

| Pros | i do not have pimples now, just brown spots. pretty much, i used it for a week and my scars were ALMOST gone.i used it together with my brother, and his scars are gone so i think it does works. keep out of sunlight while using this, or use sunblock |
|---|---|
| Cons | i'm not sure but it seems like after a week the scars were back, maybe it's turning from brown to red or cause i went out into the sun without sunblock (darn), i'll keep my fingers crossed. |
| Bottom line | it works, but of course you'll need patience. do not leave it overnight though, it doesn't do much after the stinging sensation's gone. ( i studied about acids and the stinging sensation's due to the H+ ions in lemon that's reacting with your face, and because their weak acids they have few H+ ions. so after the stinging sensation, the acid in there is pretty much used up) i would recommend using moisturiser before bed, my skin feels smooth when i do that(: and for oily skin it works cause it regulates the oil production. |
