| Pros | - Seriously works to reduce acne and scars - Lowers oil production - Drastically lowers chance of breakouts - Feels clean and gives skin a natural glow - Reduces redness and inflammation of acne. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Itches and burns a little but nothing compared to chemical cleansers. |
| Bottom line | I had acne for so long, I tried a lot of things for it and nothing seemed to work. I came across lemon juice and it worked from the first week! My skin feels so soft, and has a glow. I now only have mild oily skin compared to the damp, thick and dirty oil I previously had before I found out about lemon juice. I've heard that it burns peoples faces and leaves redness so they stop applying it. If this happens to you, you can delude it with a little water and you should be fine. Bottom line, It seriously works even though it sounds stupid. |

| Pros | Faded acne scars overnight Lightened red/breakouts on my face Lightened red areas around my nose |
|---|---|
| Cons | It itched like CRAZY! I hated sneaking a lemon to the bathroom |
| Bottom line | I used this just last night. When I woke up I didn't have high hopes. I thought it is going to be a gradual thing, and will take a week or two to see results. NO! I looked in the mirror and wow was I surprised. The horrible acne scars on my chin had faded and it lightened the red spots on my face OVER NIGHT! I just washed my face normally Rubbed an eighth of a lemon on my face Then rinsed it off after 5 mins Moisturized IT WORKED WONDERS Lemons are my new BFFs |

| Pros | -lightened scars -made pores smaller/ less blackish -smells amazing -smoother skin -reduced size of acne -reduced acne itself, to a certain extent -feeling of cleanness -less puss filled pimples when I wake up in the morning(sounds gross, but it's true) -cheap/NATURAL -easy -takes only like 2 minutes tops. Drastically shortened my prep time for bed -legit the only thing that's worked for me -less oily skin! |
|---|---|
| Cons | -acne isn't completely gone (I think mine is hormonal though, so I didn't expect everything to go away. I just wanted soooome control) -kinda sticky in the beginning, it dries though. You'll get over it -sometimes it stings if there are cut pimples. I personally, maybe sickeningly lol, embrace the stings. I probably shouldn't but it makes me feel like it's doin something -OH! After I put it on for like a half hour or sO my pimples are more red |
| Bottom line | -lightened scars -----> this was an immediate pro! I noticed a difference after ...maybe like 3-4 days. Possibly less. -made pores smaller-----wonderful! ONNE DUUUUR FUUUULLL. Haha. This took about 2 weeks to show a real difference. I suspect they will get smaller and less blackish looking as I continue to use this. -smells amazing----....def a pro bc I hate when facial creams and washes smell acidy or weird medicalish kinda stuff. -smoother skin-----I put this on at night and noticed a very different sight in the morning. My face is lighter(less scars and red pimples) and it looks smooth! And it feeeeels smooth! -reduced size of acne- I'm less likely now to have huge pimples. Still get em, just less and when I do they don't get out of control -reduced acne itself, to a certain extent-I recently have been having horrible breakouts after finally being clear for a year. As soon as I started using the lemon juice it seems to ealightly more controlled. -feeling of cleanness- I feel fresher on my face. It's prob just the lemon smell haha -legit the only thing that's worked for me---I've tried everything. No joke. This seems to be working and it's really a miracle -less oily skin! ---I wake up in the morning and I am no longer greeted with a pool of grease on my face. Thanks lemons ----routine---- 1. wash Face with basic soap. Nothing fancy. Just a bar of basis soap. 2.squeeze a slice of lemon into a disposable bathroom cup and let a cotton ball soak it up 3. Rub soaked cotton ball all over face 4. Throw it all out 5. Go about ny regular life. (I don't know if you noticed buuut, that is short... :) ) ha --i only put this on at night when I am going out the next day. I sometimes put I on at night and then wash it off and put it on again in the morn if I'm staying home. Don't do it all the time. Erryday all day =no. Haha just don't. OH and also lemon Baths and drinking lemon water are also good things to do w this |

| Pros | Vitamin C! Exfoliates Tightened pores Dried up pimples Banished scaly skin Evened out scars and dark marks Gives skin a glow! Reduces oiliness Gets rid of black heads |
|---|---|
| Cons | None, if it stings too much then add some water or honey |
| Bottom line | I absolutely love this treatment! I hated the cremes the dermatologist gave me I have sensitive skin and every single prescription I spent a lot of money on and had to stop using them a week after buying them. They would cause redness and make my skin peel, and they hurt like hades! This treatment has changed my skin. I take a VERY thin slice and rub it on my face leave it on for as long as possible and if needed I slightly rinse morning and night. A small lemon can last me a week (using on the body as well) which is so inexpensive! Just like any product though you have to try it out for at least a month before judging it nothing works fully over night although you can feel the difference in cleanliness immediately it still takes time for your skin to detox. Your skin also gets used to the sting so it hurts less after use. I will never put a prescription creme on my face again. |

| Pros | -begins lightening immediately -hydrates chronically dry skin -prevents new breakouts |
|---|---|
| Cons | none |
| Bottom line | The acne.org regimen cleared up my acne about five months ago (thank GOD), so I've been tinkering with it to work through my post-acne hyperpigmentation and chronic dryness. The lemon juice (I'm using the Delano juice+oil in the lemon from the store) feels amazing, smells nice, lightened my skin over night, and surprisingly it has moisturized the flakes right off my face! Amazing. Oh, and the stinging is nothing compared to AHA. My regimen: Dermalogica Special Clearing wash lemon juice acne.org BP Bio-Oil (morning and night) Cetaphyl spf 15 (morning) acne.org AHA (every other night) Goodbye acne, goodbye flakes! |
