Pros: Co2 laser resurfacing greatly diminished lines around my mouth. The healing was an 8 day nightmare, however, and more work needs to be done. I am investigating the Active FX laser now. Perhaps it can blast off another layer, and it works on the neck. Cons: It was expesnive and scary, due to the risk of infection that my surgeon constantly emphasized. Bottom Line: Once was enough with this type of procedure. I wish I had never smoked or sat in the sun! Recommended: Yes Price Paid: 3,000.00 Was this comment helpful? Bottom Line: I just want to let people out there who are still dealing with acne that there is an alternative to the remedies that they try and sell to you. Something I figured out on my own after years of pain is that dairy can cause acne. Yes, DAIRY. When ingested the hormones from dairy products can cause your oil glands to act up and produce acne. It took me a long tome to fully realize it, but I am now living dairy free and acne free at the same time. It was tough but worth it. Give it a shot if you are frustrated. Pros: I just had a Profaxtional and a laser peel done. I am not sure of the results yet, I just fond this site. I am pretty much freeking out. Cons: I look like a monster..I don't know if I made the right decision, of course it is too late to regret. Bottom Line: I was hoping this treatment help me to eliminate my acne and rosacea. At the time of the treatment I had little information about the laser peel , I just hope to heel enough to go back to work. Recommended: No Usage: sasha has used this item for a day or two. Pros: Made my skin smoother, helped with sun damage, and fine lines Cons: I looked like a monster for about 3 or 4 days! It also hurt very bad at time of procedure Bottom Line: I am really confused! I know I live in small town Iowa, and I expect to pay a little less for these types of things, but come on! I am from Newport Beach Calif. so you can imagine how much I was expecting to pay for my deep erbrium laser resurfacing. To my complete surprise, it was only $300.00!!! The place I went to in Burlington Ia. was fantastic! They are up to date on everything and I was treated like a queen! Why is everyone else getting riped off? Think about it before you decide to spend thousands for the same thing I had done. I am due for my second of three treatments this month. Even though it hurts more than I thought, it was worth it. Pros: I had the Active Fx laser done in Feb. I recieved the treatment free. My derm was testing the laser to see if she wanted to but it. Its been 6 months and as time goes by I see more and more improvement. Cons: It hurts really bad afterwards! Bottom Line: Definitely worth it! Recommended: Yes Was this comment helpful? Pros: It seems to have certain advantages over the older lasers, you're not left with an open wound, etc. I have had 4 so far (actually just had the 4th done 3 days ago still looks really red) I have tree to go, the results are progressive so it will take Cons: The cost, redness after treatment. Bottom Line: U have to pick the best treatment for your skin, not eveyone will have a wonderful outcome...I know it sucks, but it is true Recommended: Yes Usage: MMS has used this item for a few months. Pros: It reduced my chin scars that were mild to moderate by about 75%. I t produces collagen and makes your whole face wrinkes and all look younger. It takes at least two tx and time for the collagen to fill in depressions. I wear no make-up now. Cons: IT costs 4900 for 2 and you look like a monster for 7-10 days and can't go to work. It hurts too. Bottom Line: it can take up to a yr for full results. My chin scars improved by 75%. But of course i want them to be 100%. I don't think that will happen. It also takes about 5-10 yrs off your face, due to the collagen. It;s used for everything. You have too use retin a and hydroquine creame for a long time to increse the results. I go on the 30 for my two month post check after my 2nd one. Then you have a deep glycolic peel. The MD will let me no if i need another one. Before he said no and i'd never have to put fillers in my chin again. Overall i'm happy. I'm just too hard on my skin and want it too look like a baby's butt. Is there such a thing when your 39 and had acne on your chin. I also had some depressions from kenalog injections for yrs.It's called the coolaser at epione in bevery hills. That is the only place to get it, d/t the MD invented it and keeps it exclusive to himself.I still see imperfections on my chin, but i may have to deal with it. Again it was worth it. Pros: Had one treatment on my neck and chest unbelievable difference. well pleased Bottom Line: Also had one treatment on my face have some scaring from a face peel. the scaring seems to be more at the surface having two more treatments.i figure if it can make that much of a difference on my neck it has to help with my face. i feel any results will be great !!! Pros: had CO2 laser done about 1.5 yrs ago. very painful, bleeding, swelling. i now have these white spots on my face and the Dr. kept giving me bleaching cream and retin A...its obvious that Dr.Pozner went to deep, i now have permanet blotchiness Cons: all of it. Bottom Line: Dr. Pozner was supposed to be the best....??? He just kept giving me bleach and retin A. People ask me all the time what happened to my face.....
