| Pros: | Made a minor improvement in the slightest of acne scars. |
| Cons: | Had no effect on deep scars of skin imperfections. Some areas healed worse making them almost appear deeper. Didn't even remove a fine wrinkle I have. |
| Bottom Line: | I had 5 fraxel laser treatments with experienced doctors, and had the laser intensity eventually go to the maximum level. This was done at a laser treatment center-so they're the pros. It looked good the next day, but after the slight swelling goes down until there is absolutely no swelling at all (which takes about 2-3 weeks), then you will see that there is almost no improvement. I had about 30 close-up pictures taken by doctors before and after, and you can't tell the difference. My face still has all of the scars and imperfections and slight wrinkle, but for the very minor scars, you can almost see a slight improvement for some. BIG WASTE OF MONEY and it gets your hopes up for nothing. |

| Pros: | I had very good results. My skin is very smooth and free from malasma. The wrinkles around my eyes and between my brow are virtually gone. I had it done 3 months ago. I hope to see more improvement as time passes. |
| Cons: | The procedure was very painful toward the end because the pain medication wore off. The first 5 days of recovery was miserable. I felt much better after 2 weeks. |

Gave bleaching cream. went back to doctor today for sever redness and pealing. doctor advised me now more bleaching cream. gave me two creams to put on it clidimyein and cloderm. see again in two. noly put raiting bacause it is nessary for completion. | Bottom Line: | I had an Dermabrasion done over a year ago. I think that it made my scar's look worse. Like the wine glass effect. Wider at the bottom then at the top. I have also had 5 fraxel treatment's done about 8 month's ago and i'm not impressed with that either. I truely believe it has couse fat loss. |

| Bottom Line: | i'm confused why all the laser pricing seems to be irratic: i've had one smoothbeam treatment and one vbeam treatment at my dermatologist's office. each cost $150, or i could have opted to buy a package of 3 for 20% off. it's hard to understand how anyone else is paying $1000, or even half that for the same thing. it makes me wonder what the hell kind of profit margins these doctor's offices are operating under.
btw, the one smoothbeam treatment i did months ago made a negligible difference.. i ran out of money to do the follow up treatments.
just did my first vbeam today. other than some really slight swelling and a few little purple marks, i don't look any different yet. i'm planning on one or two more treatments. |

| Cons: | I just had "deep" laser skin resurfacing done exactly one week ago, today for some acne scarring I had...the procedure was EXTREMELY painful and you know what? My acne scars are STILL visible... |
| Bottom Line: | I didn't expect my acne scars to fully disappear, but after all that pain, not to mention the $$, I expected to at least see a dramatic reduction...and it looks like the same d***m scars are around and I'm feeling really frustrated and helpless as to what to do. |

| Bottom Line: | I had laser resurfacing with the erbrium laser about nine years ago and I was very disappointed with the results. The cost was $4,500 and I saw very little improvement in my acne scarring. I don't recommend it to anyone who wishes to improve moderate acne scarring with pitting. There was also a week of down time and the day after the laser resurfacing my face swelled up like a balloon and it was very uncomfortable the first few days. My face was still as red as a tomato when I returned to work- a week later! |
