| Pros: | Great moisturizer, a little goes a long way, helped with flakiness |
| Cons: | since it is oil it is a little messy to dispense |
| Bottom Line: | Great product and best of all natural. I will put it on directly as a moisturizer or just on areas where it is needed as it can leave your face a bit shiny. or mix with dan's moisturizer as directed. i don't know if it alone helps with preventing acne as i am using dan's regimen as well. |

| Pros: | really seems to work well. two weeks so far and no complaints. |
| Cons: | none |
| Bottom Line: | Great product, probably the best kept secret of acne treatments. Im almost seventeen and have been dealing with acne for about 4 years. Nothing has really been able to help make my skin clear, every product i've used has just made my pimples smaller, and I would still break out like once a week. I have really oily skin (grease face within 20 minutes of washing,) so I was hoping this would work on the oiliness during the day... hasn't helped with that so far, but has worked better than anything that the two dermatologists gave me over 3 years. It's also a lot easier to apply than 4 products every day. I only use a cleanser and then the oil, been working great so far. |

| Pros: | My skin was horribly dry and flaky from the harsh winter weather; I tried exfoliating, and moisturizers. Within a day or two of using the Dessert Essence oil, all the flakes and dryness was gone. I haven't used it long enough yet to see if it clea |
| Cons: | It is a bit oily, but it's light, not greasy. The DE brand is a little difficult to dispense only a couple of drops. |
| Bottom Line: | Within a couple days my skin looked and felt better. Extreme dry skin was gone. It seems to be clearing my face up! |

| Pros: | Brought my combination skin into a balanced state. |
| Cons: | Takes some effort to prevent a shiny looking face! |
| Bottom Line: | I have quite dry but acne prone skin. I use 1:3 tea tree oil to jojoba oil, about 12 drops total, right after I've washed my face. I then massage in moisturizer and toner, wait a minute for my face to drink all of that up, and then pat off any excess with a clean cloth. By the time I've brushed my hair, any shine on my face is absorbed (or I can use a shine-blotting paper). |

| Pros: | Makes skin less oily. Clears out pores. Inexpensive. No sent. calms skin. Excellent moisturizer. |
| Cons: | Hard to dispense from bottle. |
| Bottom Line: | I have had acne since I was 11 years old, and everything that I have used has either been just a temporary fix, or made things worse. But since I have been using Jojoba oil for about 2 months I can honestly say that my skin has not looked this good in over 4 years, and that was when I was using acutaine. I have very sensitive skin that is alergic to just about everything. Salacilic acid, bp, all cleansers with sodium Laural sulfate, etc. So I switched to all natural products and it has been like night and day. I atribute much of the change to Jojoba oil. It isnt an oil, it is a wax ester that mimics the oil in your skin and tricks your skin into thinking that it has made enough oil, so it doesnt make as much. Thus, less acne. Here is what has changed my life: 1)wash: all natural face wash, 2)tone: witch hazel 3)moisturize: aloe (pure)mixed with 2-3 drops J oil 4)exfoliate: 2-3x a week baking soda mixed with raw honey (rub GENTLY) 5)spot treat: Tea Tree oil. It will work! |

| Pros: | only thing that relieves flakiness from BP gel. |
| Cons: | skin is shiny. |
| Bottom Line: | i tried dans regimen but my skin was really red and flaky, no matter how much of his moisturizer i applied, but this did the trick. applied 5 drops after BP gel and it takes a while to absorb but it's worth it. i was worried about oil on my skin but i haven't had any additional breakouts, once my skin gets used to the bp i may switch back to dans moisturizer but this has kept me on the regimen! |

| Pros: | Leaves skin silky smooth & doesn't cause breakouts whatsoever. |
| Cons: | Very oily if used on a dry face with dry hands. Makes skin a bit shiny. |
| Bottom Line: | I've been using this for weeks and while I love it, I'm not sure if this is helps with specifically with acne. However, it's a real treat for dryness! Very calming and great for redness. I have sahara dessert dry skin and I've never found a better moisturizer.
Morning routine: Wash face with a 1% salycic acid cleanser. Add two drops of jojoba oil into one pump of cetaphil moisturizing lotion.
Night routine: Wash face with a 1% salycic acid cleanser. Apply 4 to 5 drops of jojoba oil on a moist face with wet hands. Spot treat any acne with a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream. |

| Pros: | cheap-$7 dessert essence bottle from trader joe's that lasts a few months. definity fewer pimples, no dry skin, better complexion. your face is LESS SHINY later on in the day and feels CLEANER. |
| Cons: | might feel oily to some people initially, especially if you're used to oil-free. |
| Bottom Line: | i've gone through times where my skin was really bad. most of those times i was using acne washes and oil-free moisturizers. your face needs oil, especially after a drying wash.
i use a natural bar soap without fragrances, which is nothing special, but cleans sufficiently.
i use a small glass dropper bottle for this, so its not as messy. just a few drops will do. after a while you'll get used to the oily feel, which is not extreme. your face gets a healthy sheen from it that lessens in intensity during the day. in fact, your face is less shiny.
i still get the hormonal pimples and pimples from touching my chin when i'm on the computer too much. but otherwise my skin is clear and glowing and not an oil slick by the end of the day. |
