Day 5 on jojoba oil, and I'm impressed! I 25 and have really sensitive, acne-prone, oily/dry (confused) skin, and I did try the Clear Skin Regimen for a good 6 months. It worked, but to be honest, it dried out my skin and encouraged it to produce more oil. The result was clear skin, but I noticed wrinkles and scabbing along with oiliness. Decided to live on the edge by trying Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil face wash and follow up by slapping some of the jojoba oil on and leaving it. I was oh-so-skeptical, but after a small purging effect, the acne cleared, and I swear it shrank my pores and erased my wrinkles. At first, I felt like a grease ball, but I think it was just balancing everything out because that wears off. If BP gel is too drying, try this stuff-- it works!

This is great!!! At first I was skeptical about putting OIL on my face, but I was told that the reason many of us have oily skin is because we wash our faces and deprive our skin of oil, and therefore it over-produces oil. SO, since using jojoba oil, my face is no longer greasy by the end of the day!! It is amazing!!

I can't believe it's so hard to find...the only place I have found it is at [link removed] ... go to the search box in the upper right-hand corner and type in jojoba oil. It comes as 4oz, but it lasts a few months!

Works Great! I've learned so much about acne/blemish products from acne.org. I bought the Dr.Sheffields Clear Zit cream the other day, which worked very well but made my face very red and peel. The Bp gel from the regimen started to make dark circles on my face. I decided to get the aloe vera gel (GNC & CVS brand) along with pure jojoba oil. My face could not look better! I have been using them in conjunction for the past 5 days... There are NO dark circles on my face and the red marks have significantly cleared. I'm not quite sure how I want to use them together though (as a cleanser, moisturizer...) so hopefully I can get some ideas from existing/future comments to get the maximum benefit!

This stuff is just awesome. The way I've been using it is: 2 times a day (morning and night) I mix some jojoba oil with St. Ives Apricot Scrub and scrub my face for a while. Then I rinse and dry my face. Then I take a cotton ball with some more jojoba oil and apply it to my whole face. Don't be afraid of it being greasy... having oily skin I was also skeptical, but just try it. I've been doing this for 2 weeks and my skin looks beautiful. My husband is amazed at how my acne just went away and how glowingly beautiful my face is now!! I have even stopped wearing makeup after 10 years of trying to disguise my blemishes... now I have no need for it. Good luck to everyone.

okay so I just started using this jojoba oil last night. I'm pretty sure its going to help a lot but I can't decide if I should wash my face, use the oil right after I rinse, and then wash it back off... OR wash my face and then apply the jojoba oil on at night and sleep with it on. What do you think? Any opinions? Please... I'm open to anything.

Jojoba oil is actually a wax ester that mimicks our natural production of sebum. The history of its use dates back to the Egyptians and Babylonians, who called this wax "miracle oil" with an ability to heal skin! I personally have been using Jojoba oil for about a year and my skin is literally glowing with healthiness.
My technique for using this product while avoiding the seemingly inevitable purging process usually associated with this oil is very simple and is best to use during a shower: Place around 2-3 drops (enough for the oil to cover your face lightly) using clean washed hands (to avoid the transfer of bacteria into your pores) onto your face. Smooth it on, but don't massage it for too long (again, the bacteria may be pushed into the pores causing acne). Then after about a 1 min. wash the oil off with water, don't use any cleansers which will just remove all trace of this oil. The jojoba oil is itself a facial cleanser. I've tried different methods along with leaving the oil without washing it off, which just results in a major breakout. This method is the best, and results in smooth matte glowy skin.

what i've used and hasn't worked: Proactiv, Differin, Benzamycin Pack, Tazorac, B5 (and Vitamins A, E, C, Bition, Zinc, Multi, Complex), Salylic Acid, Dan's Regimen, Murad, and so much more.

what i'm using right now which has cleared up my skin more in 4 days than in anything else has in 4 years: JOJOBA OIL, Omega 3 pills, FOTE Aloe Vera Gel, and minocin (i attribute 90% of this clearing to the JOJOBA OIL)

i'm 17/m and have oily,acne-prone skin....TRY THIS PRODUCT and stick to the natural stuff. give it time and it will work

Hi anonymous,
try just rubbing the oil in after cleansing as a moisturiser and dont wash it off. I have been using it for 4 days now and I love it...also try a manuka honey face mask..it cuts down inflammation and redness and helps heal pimples.

tried this one too...im not gunna lie...the 1st night i thought i had found my answer to acne...my face was fresh and soft with a matte finish for about 5 hours. My acne had gone down a good amount and my scars looked better all in one day! the next day it didnt work as well, and it just stopped working by the 3rd day. I dunno, maybe im not using it right. I wash my face, rub the oil in for a minute, and wash my face again, morning and night.
