| Pros | antibacterial and amazing |
|---|---|
| Cons | sticky |
| Bottom line | I first used honey with oat and it did cleansen my skin but it didn't decrease the acne eruption but i added another ingredient that did wonders lemon juice it made the mask perfect it reduced the eruptions markedly and even the deep existing acne appeared on the surface to drain as if it was keratolytic but without the irritation of the keratolytic acne medicinal products u should use it everyday to make a marked difference also the lemon make the mask get hold together and not keep falling off ur face like honey alone |

| Pros | It leaves ur face feeling clean and fresh; plus it smells declicious! |
|---|---|
| Cons | sticks and it varies by skin type how long it should be applied |
| Bottom line | Just apply the honey all over ur face(back and chest if needed) and let it sit for 10-15 min and rinse off with warm water then cold to close your pores back up. Its works better on a clean face so apply after you take a shower. Also dont over use it. It's probably best to use once or twice a week. |

| Pros | It destorys bacteria, reduces swelling, and eliminate pain of acne that's underneath the skin. I use raw-wild honey. I don't use it as a mask, but as spot treatment on bumps that are open and put honey right on top of it for 20 minutes and wash off. |
|---|---|
| Cons | None. |
| Bottom line | I use raw-wild honey. I don't use it as a mask, but as spot treatment on bumps that are open and put the honey right on top of it and leave it on for 20 minutes and wash off. In the morning when I wake up the bump is 98% gone and after the second day it's completely gone and it doesn't leave a scar. I find that honey works wonders on open acne or sores. I've tried the mask but it just made my skin soft and thats it. I recommend this treatment to anyone who suffers with inflammatory acne that eventually become whiteheads infected with bacteria, these bumps hurt and raw-wild honey quickly gets rid of the pain, swelling, and the bump itself, completely gone with in two days of use. Try it you'll see. I've not tried the commercial honey that's bought in stores. Raw-wild honey can be purchased at a natural food organic store, make sure it says raw or wild honey, it may cost a little more but it's worth it. |

| Pros | i put it on for 10 minutes and washed it off. then the next day i woke up and my acne was significantly less red!! before i did it for 30 minutes and that was probably less effective because i didnt see the results as well as when i left it for 10min |
|---|---|
| Cons | i got a lot of little bumps (their not red and not whiteheads but sort of look like a whitehead) on areas where there was no acne to begin with, but i put honey there. so i wouldnt recommend putting honey on areas where there is no acne! |
| Bottom line | its cheap. i already had some at home. and it works well. makes ur skin soft and less red. try it. leave it on for 10 min. and wash it all off. |

| Pros | cheaper than other acne regimes, fun, really does gets rid of pimples from the root within a reasonable amount of time and clear up pores without allowing actual pimples flare up even more |
|---|---|
| Cons | slight skin irritation where no acne was, doesn't make my skin smooth as others say |
| Bottom line | It does work, but it does take a while. I used to use it as a mask every night before bed for a week, but noticed that where i didn't have any problems, my skin felt a tiny bit irritated (eg. not soft), so I started to only dab honey onto the actual pimples, and leave it on until i wash it off to goto bed, and if it's really red, i'll barely dab a bit on them and go to bed. By morning, it'll be considerably less red and smaller (although not gone until at least 1-2 weeks), but well worth the wait since it doesn't ever get worse. |

| Pros | Made my skin feel a little smoother. Smelled nice. |
|---|---|
| Cons | None really, other than the fact that it didn't clear up my acne much. |
| Bottom line | I was really hoping that this would be the secret key to all my acne problems, but it didn't really clear anything up. I applied it as a mask twice a day and left it on for about 15 minutes, but I didn't see any huge results. I guess it just goes to show that some things work for some people and not for others. I'd give it a try, though. |

| Pros | Affordable, easy to find/use, natural, leaves skin super smooth, minimizes bumps and redness, **works well and fast**, **doesn't irritate sensitive skin** |
|---|---|
| Cons | Sticky :( and the honey collects in little drips that slide down your face if you don't keep an eye on it. |
| Bottom line | I've only been using this for three days and I can already see results. My skin is not completely clear yet, but it is much, much smoother, and I can already go out without putting on concealor first (something I haven't been able to do in months!). My skin is hyper-sensitive and I usually find that products that don't irritate my skin are useless at fighting acne while anything that actually has a clearing effect also makes my skin dry, flaky, and ultimately in worse condition than before. However, wearing a honey mask for 15 minutes a day has only made my skin calmer and suppler. Like I said, my skin is not completely clear yet, but the fact that I haven't had any new spots form since I started is, in itself, reason enough for me to continue. The results are not immediate but still probably the fastest I've ever gotten. My skin is looking much healthier, and its all-around condition is much improved! I highly recommend this! It's easy, cheap, and it works! |
