Pros: It smells so great! And it works!! Cons: a lil sticky, haha Bottom Line: it works! I mix it with a little bit of Cinnamon, and it keeps my skin so smooth! It removes all acne and reduces my redness. I absolutely love this stuff! I can't believe I've been paying so much for cleansers that didn't work! You have to at least try it! Pros: I use honey mixed with cinnamon and it works wonders for me. My face feels really smooth and it got rid of my acne. Cons: It's really sticky and it drips everywhere! It sticks to my pillow. Bottom Line: It's really effective. I had BAD acne since I was in the 5th grade, and now I'm in 3rd year high school. I made my mom spend hundreds for medication that only burnt my skin and didn't do squat to my acne. This home remedy changed my life I SWEAR. I suggest you use raw honey. 3 tblsp of raw honey and 1 tsp of cinnamon. Wear mask overnight and wash the next day with cold water. It takes a while though, but it really works wonders for me. Sometimes I wear the mask throughout the whole day and voila! Pimples, scars, uneven skin tone are GONE. I never felt so confident before. Pros: brings pimples to a head quickly and doesnt leave scars Cons: none so far...but if you're impatient, you cant give up. the existing acne will seem to get worse because its coming to a head but its worth it...trust me! Bottom Line: i mix the honey with the cinnamon to make a paste and put it on before i take a bath at night. its really relaxing and doesnt get messy that way because i rinse it off after my bath. i couldnt believe the results that I got in one weeks time. ALL of the existing acne was cleared. however, since i put the paste all over my face, some of the cysts started to pop up. all of the natural remedy websites say to use the mixture for two weeks. this is exactly one week for me so hopefully i will be even more clear by the eow! this week i'm just spot treating at night time. Pros: Smells great. Cons: Made my skin even more oily. Seemed to magnify my pores and added more blackheads. Bottom Line: Maybe I have allergies to honey. If that's your case, try the aspirin mask! Pros: Works great to clear skin problems, especially when mixed with lemon juice. It was the only product that doesn't dry my skin, and it gives my skin a nice healthy glow! It is so cheap - nothing else has worked for me except for this treatment. Cons: Its sticky..... a small price to pay for its benefits. Bottom Line: I recently started using honey as an acne treatment and it has worked wonders on my skin. I did some research and I learned that honey is not only an antibacterial agent, but also contains antioxidants that protect the skin from from damage-causing free radicals which age the skin. I find it works best when mixed with a bit of lemon juice - the citrus acid in lemon juice exfoliates dead skin and dirt and the vitamin C helps repair damage caused by free radicals which is a bonus if you tan lots too. In my research I also found out that honey has been used medicinally by the Greeks & Egyptians for 1000s of years to treat wounds, skin ulcers, and burns. It is a great aid in cell regeneration and the formation of collagen. I have spent so much money on expensive cleansers which dry my skin and don't work, I guess its time I stop underestimating the power of nature. Pros: It's a miracle!! Cons: Sticky Bottom Line: I had pretty moderate acne covering my cheeks and chin. I discovered acne and honey exactly two weeks ago and today I only have one or two small pimples left on my entire face. I look like I did five years ago, before acne overtook my face!! I have discovered you HAVE to use raw, organic honey. THe stuff in the honey bear at the supermarket does not work. I got a large jar at my local farmer's market of raw, organic honey with the comb in the jar for around 8 dollars. I mix a few teaspoons of honey with a few teaspoons of regular cinnamon powder from the supermarket and massage it onto my face and leave for as long as possible, usually a few hours. This stuff is a miracle! It has done what Proactive, antibiotics and hundreds of dollars worth of over the counter acne medicine could not do! Pros: made skin soft Cons: none yet Bottom Line: I tried it for the first time last night. I washed my face with 7% Benzoyl Peroxide Proactiv cleanser. I then mixed honey and a heavy squirt of lemon and applied. I left it on while I was in the bath tub and rinsed it off with cool water. I must say it did make my skin feel soft.
