| Pros: | works, cheap |
| Cons: | some people can have adverse reactions, so be careful to try it on a small area first |
| Bottom Line: | dont leave it for too long, only 15 minutes is enough, start 5 min first day, to just see what happens to ur skin :)
i mix it with starch (corn or whatever) so it is not runny. |

| Cons: | IT GAVE ME A FACE RASH! Tiny-Tiny bumps all over my face :( |
| Bottom Line: | It may be my fault because I left it on for over an hour, yet I read that some people sleep with honey on their face so I thought it was okay. I got a rash the next day all over my face :( some of the tiny bumps have pus too. Im sad and will NEVER put honey on my face again. |

| Pros: | Leaves my skin VERY soft, helps to moisturize my skin and helps my actual moisturizer to soak in better, reduces the appearance of my acne scars and the redness of my acne, helps calm irritated skin, and oddly enough, gives my skin a matte finish! ;) |

| Bottom Line: | MUST BE RAW HONEY! It doesn't work otherwise! Try applying for 20-30 minutes, and have tissue ready to catch drips.
I love the honey mask, though it doesn't clear up my acne like I had hoped, it's other benefits are great. In general, the honey mask makes the skin appear and feel much healthier, and it really calms the skin. I use the honey mask every night. All natural, so it's worry free; it's cheaper than chemical masks, and the jar lasts much longer. |

| Pros: | It's honey! Natural. Leaves my skin soft and glowing. Helps with acne and scars. |
| Cons: | Can't really think of one, I would say that it's "sticky", but that's not necessarily a con. |
| Bottom Line: | I will sometimes mix it with crushed oats and a little lemon juice, or just alone. It's natural so you know what you're putting on your face. Sometimes I like to use slightly crystallized honey so it becomes somewhat of a scrub. |

| Bottom Line: | Before aplying it i did some research, it turns out that topically, the honey has antibacterial properties due to an osmotic effect that creates a poor enviroment for microorganinsms; sounded fancy, so I gave it a try. very good overall you can see the results almost instantly left my skin incredibly smooth and soft. worked better than many artificiall products. |

It doesn't look very elegant, so you may want to hide from others while it's on.

| Bottom Line: | I have been using honey to get a more even skin tone. I had dark blemishes on my cheeks caused by an anti-acne medicine the docter prescribed (resorcinol). Before applying the honey I spread lactic acid on the dark patches. Then I mix the honey with a tad lactic acid. It's my guess the acid helps the bleaching properties of the honey. In the past I've worn the mask overnight, but this was too much of a hassle. So now I wear it during the day time.
My dark patch on the left cheek has become significantly smaller. It's a bit more difficult to fade the damage on the right cheek, since the blemishes are more red there.
However, I will continue using it because it makes my skin feel incredibly soft! |
