| Pros | smells good my face feels like baby skin taste good my face looks brighter |
|---|---|
| Cons | a little sticky, cant wear it to bed. |
| Bottom line | so ive only been using this for a few days.. but my skin looked so much better after just the first use! i used regular honey from the grocery store... it itched like crazy and made my face a lil red. but my skin still looked good. then i read on here that i should be using raw honey.. so i went and got some. it doesnt itch anymore! it feels great. i dont heat it up, just rub it on my face and the heat from your skin will melt it. i wear it for about an hour while watching tv or reading at night. then rinse off, tone, moisturize. ill post in a week and let you know how its going:) |

|---|---|
| Cons | nuttin...except a little messy & sticky =) |
| Bottom line | i use honey whenever i've popped a pimple (i know..bad) but when its bleeding or really red, i just dab some honey on it at night for about 2 days, and by that time, the redness/scab is almost completely gone!!! nature's miracle!! also works well with lemon juice...i'm going to try the honey all over, since i only used to use it for spot treatment. wish me luck...and pray! =) |

| Bottom line | I'm 28 I've been suffering with acne since I was 15 and I have tried everything and nothing has worked as good as this. Only been a day but I woke up with all my pimples all tried up. I'm going to continue using the honey didn't mix it with anything. My skin is soft and my scars looks lighter. I'm very happy right now. |

| Pros | - Face feel amazing after this - Clears acne - Controls access oils - Smells great |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Very messy - A pain to rinse off |
| Bottom line | I love the honey mask, although I do it differently I mix pure honey with some grated apple and mix it together and apply it. Its amazing for acne and oily skin like mine. Before a big event or night out I do this mask. Apply this before your shower and also if you wear makeup your makeup will go on great after this facial! Even just honey itself makes a differences, but if you want to add more vitamins and moisture in your skin add some grated apple to this mask!!! |

| Pros | Non-irritating. Smells/tastes good (if it drips in your mouth!) Brightens skin tone. Clears face. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Messy. |
| Bottom line | Mix about two spoonfuls of honey with one spoonful of lemon juice. Apply to face. Leave on for 15-20 minutes. Makes face feel really soft and brightens your complexion. Haven't really seen too much of a headway with acne. Still great! |

| Pros | Easy to make works on pimples, redness and acne scars cheap leaves skin glowing and soft |
|---|---|
| Cons | NONE |
| Bottom line | I've been using sugar and honey every day. The sugar exfoliates my skin so the blackheads I had on my nose are completely gone and it leaves my skin so soft because of the honey. It also helps with scars from previous pimples and it just takes about 2 weeks for the scars to go away when you have been using it every day. I don't know how but it also helps with pimples and it leaves your skin glowing :) |

| Pros | * Actually works pretty well * Evens out skin tone |
|---|---|
| Cons | * Feels a bit sticky on your face (may or may not bother you) * Runs just a bit |
| Bottom line | I've been using a honey mask (honey and a bit of cinnamon) for about 5 days now. I leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. After about the second or third day, I started noticing results. And slowly, my acne is starting to go away. I think my scars are fading a bit as well. I highly recommend trying this! Tip: Melting the honey destroys its healing properties. I usually use this mask after getting out of the shower, when my pores are opened and my skin has been in the hot water. Then you can just use the honey at room temperature. |

| Pros | ツ Softens skin ツ Fades blemishes/scars pretty quickly ツ Cheap & homemade ツ Easy to make ツ Smells & Tastes good |
|---|---|
| Cons | None ♥ |
| Bottom line | I've been using this mask for about ... 4 days. I'm 13 and I've had acne for about 2 years now, and I HATE it. I don't want to go to high school with blemishes on my face. I've tried Proactiv -- didnt work for me. I've also tried Max Clarity Foam -- made my skin EXTREMELY dry. I also have minor acne scars. I needed something that'll fade my acne & scars, and soften my skin. My friend told me about a honey mask, so I Googled it, and found out what other things I can add to it, and now I'm using it as a daily regimen ツ First of all, it's really easy to make. What I add to the honey is cinnamon, nutmeg, and some oatmeal. Adding oatmeal makes it less drippy. I usually put it on before I go take a shower, so I wont make a mess on the bathroom sink. I usually keep it on for about 15-20 minutes. Since I began using it my skin is dramatically softer, and my skintone is becoming more even ツ I reccomend this to people who has given up on finding that one product, to then eventually find out that it does nothing. |

| Pros | Reduces pimples Reduces redness Cheap, using household items Leaves skin soft Comes off skin very easily Completely natural (You can eat it if you desire) :D |
|---|---|
| Cons | EXTREMELY messy Itches Leaves skin a tad irritable and red for close to a half hour (I would recommend doing a facial at night) |
| Bottom line | I have been getting really into facials and household remedies that will keep my skin soft and most importantly help with my light acne. I have given myself a lot of oatmeal facials, but they tend to be thick and messy, and I have a hard time getting them off. (They can help skin tremendously, though.) I have heard honey is great for clearing skin, so I decided to give that a try. I melted honey and added a teaspoon of cinnamon and a few drops of lemon juice. The problem with the cinnamon is that it makes quite a huge mess and turns the mask an ugly color that might stain if it gets onto a material. Melting the honey makes it drip and made quite a mess for me. BOTTOM LINE: I would NOT melt the honey and would add some lemon juice to get a thinner consistency to help make applying or removing the mask easier. Tie your hair back and wear a ratty shirt either way (in case of accidental dripping). Leave the facial on for fifteen minutes and then scrub clean with a damp washcloth. Rinse simply with cold water to cleanse. You will not regret using this facial mask because it softens skin, reduces redness, and really decreases the amount of pimples you have OVERNIGHT. The ingredients are very simple, and even if all you have is honey, it works wonders by itself. |

| Pros | *lessens redness *moisturizes *leaves skin soft and with a bit of a glow *helps fight acne(to a degree) *repairs skins appearance *tastes great :D |
|---|---|
| Cons | *a bit messy |
| Bottom line | I've been using honey for almost 2 months now and have included it as apart of my daily skin regimen because I love it that much. It really helps with redness, though it's not a miracle cure and wont fade red spots overnight. I have fair skin and after damaging it with different acne products, searching for something right, my skin would turn very red, looking almost like a chemical burn. It was raw and bad! A little honey morning and night, helped repair my skin to it's natural tone and texture. I use it in the morning and if I have time leave it on for 40mins-1hour, if not I'll leave it on for 15 mins just to take a bit of redness out of my skin. I wash it off and go about the rest of my skin routine. I do the same at night. I do this everyday because the honey doesn't irritate the skin. It's gentle and messy and my skin loves it. I use the cheap grocery store stuff but the more organic and higher the UMF apparently the better the honey and the better it'll work, though it can be pricey. I'm on Dan's Regimen again and am in my second week, and the honey really helped with my bad redness. I highly recommend this! It's not an end all to acne but it helps and I love using it with my daily regimen. But you have to be patient with it, as it helps the skins appearance over time. |
