| Bottom line | Green tea is a great acne treatment. I recommend rubbing your face with the teabag after drinking. It has helped my face a lot and I hope it does the same to yours:) |

| Pros | Healthy |
|---|---|
| Cons | Can be bitter if not brewed correctly |
| Bottom line | I stopped drinking it for a while because it's really hard to keep up with it during the 2 months of the school musical rehearsal...I regret it, because my skin was really great before, and now it's just so-so. I am going to start drinking it more. |

| Pros | Reduced redness, exfoliate, soften the skin, cheap |
|---|---|
| Cons | Messy |
| Bottom line | I drink grean tea with honey everyday and I used the used tea bag as a scrub. I open the tea bag, brewed in hot water, put more cold water so it gets warm. Then i wash my face with it and use the tea leaves as a scrub. The result is amazing. The redness because using to much BP is gone, and it's also good to get rid of the dry skin that really flaky. The next morning my existing acne is dry and my skin in smoother. The only cons is after you use it, my sink is pretty messy with the tea leaves. But it's easy to clean. YOu should try. It's really good if your skin really dry and flaky cause it's exfoliate the skin without iritate it. |

| Cons | NONE! |
| Bottom line | I loved Green Tea since I was young, and I have heaps at home. Being a traditional Chinese family, we buy a lot of tea. And it's not just Green Tea that worked-- a lot others did too! I usually drink Green Tea & use it as toner also. It's also a very good moisturizer too! I drank it one night, the next day I woke up, I immediately felt a difference! I love to drink tea, even when Iwas young. [Guess it's a Chinese thing, you know!] I highly reccomend it to you all! |

| Pros | Works Amazingly! |
|---|---|
| Cons | NONE! |
| Bottom line | I had SEVERE acne. When I say severe..I MEAN SEVERE. In one day, the redness, bumpiness of my acne was completely gone. This is what I did. First, I drank 3 cups of unsweetened and uncaffeinated green tea throughout the day. At night time, I made a small paste using turmeric powder, skim milk, and the main ingredient was green tea. What I did was rip open the last teabag I used for the day and I poured half of it into the paste and mixed it. Then I applied the paste and let it dry for 30 mins. I washed it off and I saw the results immediately. I hope this is a long-term remedy because I am doing this EVERY night! No new breakouts for the past 2 weeks and my skin looks better than ever. |

| Pros | Natural & pharmaceutical-free; effective; economical; soothing, softening & toning; good source of antioxidants (Olive Leaf Extract is higher, though - & also good for/on skin). Much fewer blind pimples; skin heals faster; less redness & scarring. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Watch out for stains - clean up any drips & spills promptly (& not with white towels, either!). Don't drink too much too late in the day. |
| Bottom line | I had mild-moderate adult acne for over 12 years from my late 20's (I think initially from the Pill). Being careful with diet really helps - for me SUGAR (even too much fruit - took a long while to realise my skin was always worse during summer, when I ate heaps of seasonal fruit), cow DAIRY & gluten are worst offenders. And green tea certainly makes a difference. Only needed to drink 1-3 cups per day of freshly-brewed, preferably organic, Green or White tea (use hot, filtered water, but not boiling, as this scalds the tea; steep 5 minutes & drink within 20 minutes to get most anti-oxidant benefit); & definitely use same as leave-on toner after cleansing. Latter is easier if using tea-bags, but ritual of making a pot with loose leaves is nice; just use as fresh as possible (though I guess keeping used bags/dregs in fridge would help preserve the active components). Also found papaya enzyme masks & Emu Oil as moisturiser helpful. Thanks for sharing your stories; hope mine helps you. |
