Pros: Awesome stuff!after 2 days im sure my acne marks have faded! Its also great for those on accutane(like me) and it wont irritate your skin..not too bad price wise either Cons: Leaves face a bit shiny...also being on accutane my face is really dry and this doesnt moisturise enough so i just add it to my cetaphil Bottom Line: Aloe vera gel is awesome!type it into google and you will see loads of sites raving about how good it can be for acne...give it a go! Pros: dries up very well and leaves skin feeling super naturally moisturized does not have that oily feeling that makes your face look shiny. it is not reactive and will calm your skin no matter what shape it's in. great to use after a harsh facial wash Cons: will feel slimy and gooey when applying but only temporarily, after a minute it will dry!!! Bottom Line: USE THIS, IVE USED ALMOST ALL KIND OF MOISTURIZER INCLUDING AVEENO and even the lightest moisturizer cetaphil, this stuff can't compare to aloe vera moisurizer, if you can't find this product in your store: consider buying a walgreen aloe vera version same ingredients. be sure to buy the fragrance and alcohol free one Recommended: Yes Usage: Reviewer has used this item for about a week. Pros: Great product because of the ability to fade some old scars quite fast. redness from acne really settled downn. Cons: tightens face, which isnt that bad. Pros: Cheap, effective, easy to apply, gives a nice cooling effect while it dries. Cons: Does make skin feel a bit tight. Bottom Line: Stuff that really does work. I have moderate-severe acne and I have noticed a big change in my skin tone since I've been using this product. My skin tone was quite horrible before using this product and I have noticed the redness from my face has improved greatly as well. It is cheap and easy to use; however, this gel does make the face feel slightly tight which is not much of an issue, at least to me. I have oily skin and have noticed no peeling/flaking and this gel really helps keep my oil down, which is another plus. I have been using this with tea tree oil and my acne is much, much better. Pros: My skin texture has improved so much. it is much smoother and clearer. Heals up pimples real quickly. Its great when used after home microdermabrasion or exfoliation as it heals up the skin and soothes. Cons: Slightly sticky when first applied but this is temporary. Bottom Line: I absolutely love it. When i'm at home i use it as a moisturizer and nothing else. its non-greasy and especially good for redness from pimples that are healing. Pros: works very, very well with my oily skin. i recommend it 100% Cons: a little too dry at times, itches when you put it on your body (a moisturizer is still needed afterwards) Bottom Line: this stuff is awesome. i paid $5 for it at CVS. it's really simple and clean, doesn't make me feel like a ton of stuff is on my face. after the first couple days of use i felt my pimples go down a little bit, they were a lot less inflamed. since then i've started using it on my chest and back, where i have some hyperpigmentation spots from old acne. the aloe gel helps fade scars and some trouble spots. i've also started to use it to moisturize my arms and legs, i've noticed that my skin has become a lot smoother (especially the backs of my arms). it is a little gloopy but it dries fast and has absolutely no fragrance. Pros: It works!!! I'm hoping that this stuff will dramatically improve my skin tone and remove those nasty blemishes. I use it in conjunction with sudocrem which contains zinc oxide, BP and beeswax - all brilliant for clearing up those nasty spots!! Cons: Very gloopy; could not go out wearing it. Taughtening sensation on the skin. Bottom Line: Rather than using aloe vera from a bottle I have bought my very own plant which is much cheaper!! All you need to do is cut of a little bit of one of the leaves and then you squeeze out the gloop (which looks exactly like the gel you get in packets)and apply it to your face.
