| Pros | A little goes a long way. Comes in a large jar. Not hard to find in stores. Inexpensive. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Caused me to break out -- I guess it clogged my pores. |
| Bottom line | This product is NICE on my hair to define curls but SUCKS as a face moisturizer (for me). I will not use again on my face. |

|---|---|
| Cons | Burned my eyes, didn't do anything to help my acne, sticky |
| Bottom line | I have had no positive results from using this product. I put it on my face and my eyes literally started tearing down my face. It burned my eyes terribly. It also has no effect against acne or sunburn :/ |

| Pros | Very soothing for the skin after it has been irritated by acne, sunburn, picking, redness etc. Does NOT clog pores and therefore does not cause acne. It is an okay moisturizer. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Makes face shiny and sticky. It's not a miracle but I really love this stuff. |
| Bottom line | Surprisingly helps reduce zits a bit. Some more than others. Greatly reduces redness of zits. It will not do much for old red or brown marks though but it certainly wont hurt. Works for so many things so it's always great to have it around. |

| Pros | um.... none. |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Burned my face!!!! -Stinging! -Redness, Itchiness -Left a rash and dry scaly patches -Is taking FOREVER to recover from :( |
| Bottom line | I read the reviews for this and decided to try it as a moisturizer since my face has been kind of dry lately. BAD IDEA. I put it on before I went to bed and it burned and itched through the night and I woke up to a beet red face that was swollen like a chipmunk. I dunno if I'm just allergic to something they put in with the aloe but holy crap I will never try this again. It seems to work well for a lot of people though so I suppose it could still be worth a try for someone new.... I would just suggest washing it off immediately if it starts to burn. :( |

| Pros | Made the red patches on my skin less noticeable Made acne scarring less red |
|---|---|
| Cons | Hate the fact I feel for the "%100 gel" on the front. Left patches of read scaling skin on my chin and neck. |
| Bottom line | I have very sensitive skin.So I went to the local shopping center for some pure aloe vera gel, in a hurry, I saw the "%100" on the front and grabbed it and left. After applying this, I started to get red patches on my chin and on my neck that stung. The next day they turned into red flaky patches and two months on, the patches on my chin are still there =( Please don't use this if you have sensitive skin. |

| Pros | -Smells nice -Enjoyed how it felt on my skin when I put it on -Cheap |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Dried my face out -Caused more pimples |
| Bottom line | I read the many reviews and decided to try it. The moisturizer I was using before made my skin oily. When I first tried the gel, it seemed to work, however, I noticed that when it dried, my face was tight. I continued using it for 3 weeks and ended up going back to my oily moisturizer. My skin was terribly dry and flaking. I started breaking out a bit more. I really hoped that it would of worked for me :( |

| Pros | Great as a gentle facewash. Takes off waterproof mascara, ladies! No longer clogging my pires by piling on heavy creams after stripping oils from my face (even with cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Gets stiff on the face when I've tried it as a moisturizer. I only use it as a facewash. |
| Bottom line | I found that my face was less oil-slicked and flaky if I stopped stripping the oil from my face with the cetaphil gentle skin cleaser and then piling on heavy creams to gain back the moisture and end up clogging up my pores. I now use 99% aloe vera gelly from a natural market, bp 2.5%, light moisturizing sunscreen. Will be trying AHA+ at night instead of my current time intensive 3x week manual exfoliation with a textured sponge to see if I get better results with less stress to the skin. |

| Pros | May help with acne redness |
|---|---|
| Cons | Potentially irritating ingredients (except for the aloe vera itself) - DMDM hydratonin and diazolidinyl urea |
| Bottom line | So I tried using this with my moisturizer to get rid of my red marks, but my face turned a bright red several minutes after applying this, and remained until I washed it off. I tried this again over the next few days and got the same result, even though I had also stopped using my topical medications. For those of you with very sensitive skin, be careful about using the gel, since the two ingredients mentioned above release formaldehyde, which is a potential skin irritant/allergen. Patch test under your chin or jawline before you apply it over your entire face. |
