| Pros | -Smells nice -Enjoyed how it felt on my skin when I put it on -Cheap |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Dried my face out -Caused more pimples |
| Bottom line | I read the many reviews and decided to try it. The moisturizer I was using before made my skin oily. When I first tried the gel, it seemed to work, however, I noticed that when it dried, my face was tight. I continued using it for 3 weeks and ended up going back to my oily moisturizer. My skin was terribly dry and flaking. I started breaking out a bit more. I really hoped that it would of worked for me :( |

| Pros | Great as a gentle facewash. Takes off waterproof mascara, ladies! No longer clogging my pires by piling on heavy creams after stripping oils from my face (even with cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Gets stiff on the face when I've tried it as a moisturizer. I only use it as a facewash. |
| Bottom line | I found that my face was less oil-slicked and flaky if I stopped stripping the oil from my face with the cetaphil gentle skin cleaser and then piling on heavy creams to gain back the moisture and end up clogging up my pores. I now use 99% aloe vera gelly from a natural market, bp 2.5%, light moisturizing sunscreen. Will be trying AHA+ at night instead of my current time intensive 3x week manual exfoliation with a textured sponge to see if I get better results with less stress to the skin. |

| Pros | May help with acne redness |
|---|---|
| Cons | Potentially irritating ingredients (except for the aloe vera itself) - DMDM hydratonin and diazolidinyl urea |
| Bottom line | So I tried using this with my moisturizer to get rid of my red marks, but my face turned a bright red several minutes after applying this, and remained until I washed it off. I tried this again over the next few days and got the same result, even though I had also stopped using my topical medications. For those of you with very sensitive skin, be careful about using the gel, since the two ingredients mentioned above release formaldehyde, which is a potential skin irritant/allergen. Patch test under your chin or jawline before you apply it over your entire face. |

| Pros | - No alcohol, wax, sunscreens, or oil - Seems to be Ph balancing - Relieves redness, irritation, and drying from BP - Feels nice and cool when applying - Pleasant smell |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Makes face look shiny after application - Takes about 10-15 minutes to soak in to skin and become natural looking |
| Bottom line | I have found this to be an absolutely perfect moisturizer. I apply it after BP and it takes away all the unpleasant side effects. It looks shiny at first and takes a little while to soak all the way in, but once it does my skin is perfectly moisturized and natural looking. I love how smooth it makes my skin as well. It's also very pleasant and cool feeling going on, which helps a lot after a stressful day. I have never found a facial moisturizer that even begins to compare to how well this works. I've used all different brands of aloe vera gel and not just this one with the same great results. Just make sure whatever you buy doesn't have alcohol or lidocaine (some of them do). |

| Pros | great for acne and oily skin. I use it was my face wash no joke. I had the most oily skin always appling acne creams and other that are supposed to help ouly skin. Well as you would think this makes you skin more oily its not the case. There is only one reason you have oily skin. ITS because you have sensitve skin. Whne you use harsh stuff on you face you skin says ohh ill just make more oil to protect myself. When you eliminate harsh products and just use this it balances your skin. |
|---|---|
| Cons | none i found. |
| Bottom line | Has many other uses as well. Make sure you buy this brand because if not its not 100% pure it has other chemicals in it that are drying. Trust me if you have oily skin replace this for your face wash it WILL get rid of most if not ALL of the annoying oil you get in the day. It sounds crazy but so does putting chemicals on your face...doesnt it. So try that out give it a couple of weeks and it will help your oil. It does a great job cleaning your skin also and after a month you skin will glow. |

| Pros | Ok so its been a week now of me useing this, and I have to say its begining to loose effects, Ive been useing it every night as a night moisturiser and wash it off every morning...although it does not break me out and I really slather it on...its not healing my pimples as fast anymore, I think my skin has just become used to it, I do still believe its helping lift the red marks though..I will review again in two weeks. |
|---|---|
| Cons | None apart from the really shiny look and the tight feeling..just means I have to put on right before bed so no one sees me lol |
| Bottom line | Not a good moisturiser, although skin feels soft when wahed off, it quickly goes away and my face becomes tight, so Ive had to use more moisturier in the day. Its doing well at lifting red marks. Its totally non pore clogging. I would say my acne is light now though, just the scars make it look worse, only get about 1/2 pimple a day. So worth useing I think. |

| Pros | Wow, I used for the first time last night on my face and back and the results this morning are just amazing, my red scars have been redused to a light pinky colour and my few active spots have dried up. The first thing I noticed on wakeing was that my back was not as sore as the night before and 7 of the active spots are in the process of drying up. I know its christmas day but Im just so freaking excited Ive found a product that works. So glad I found this product!! |
|---|---|
| Cons | When you first apply and it dries it feels like you are wearing one of those clear peal of masks, makes you look like a wax dummy...it goes so tight (I wonder if thats what I would look like with botox ;) it also goes very shiny but it does dry quite quicky so its not a problem as such, I think I would only use at night just because of the way your face looks and feels. |

| Pros | Helps clear up skin, lessen redness, helps with scars, and its cheap! |
|---|---|
| Cons | none so far |
| Bottom line | I have only been using this product for two weeks but already my skin looks better. I have tried everything, from ProActiv to Clean and Clear, and nothing has worked. After getting burnt on my face, I had to use aloe and was worried that it was going to clog my pores and make me break out. When I looked at the back of the bottle, it said it could be used for blemishes. When I woke up in the morning, my skin was softer and less red. I get cystic acne and suprisingly it has helped. It has also helped with blackheads and whiteheads. I apply the aloe at least three times a day after washing my face really good with Pernox. |
