Pros Refreshing, reduces oily skin, cheap product
Cons very dry on the skin,it's 100% gel, Works for certain people, but not for everyone(didnt work for me, instead it made me breakout several times)
Bottom line This product was a major disappointment for me. First night I applied it all over my back(i have bacne), nothing really happened. The next night I used it, my skin started breaking out in pimples and it itched like crazy. I thought it would reduce the inflammation, but it backfired. In fact, It was one of the worst breakout I've ever had, I'm not kidding. I've been using it for a week now, and so far there have been negative results. My skin feels itchier than before and I have more red marks than ever on my back.

As for the face, it did help with clearing the oil and sweat, but it made my face completely dry and tight afterwards to the point where my skin started to flake. Thats not all. On the third day of using this, my face started breaking out in little pimples all over my cheek area, which didnt usually happen. I thought an initial breakout was normal, but after a few days its just been getting worse. I dont know if I should continue or not, but its probably best if I don

Pros Cheap, easy to use, no scent, extremely effective!
Cons It can be a little drying if you use too much. I wouldn't reccomend putting it right before you leave the house-although I don't find it at all inflammatory it makes my skin a little red to begin with
Bottom line I had tried EVERYTHING before this, I wish I'd known about this five years ago! After two weeks of using aloe my skin is 100% better than it was before- Hardly any red patches, scars have faded and no spots.

Pros its a gel
Cons its not 100%
Bottom line this product phases the bootle like its 100% aloe vera but its clearly not if you look at the ingredients. if your face is sensitive to non-natural products i wouldnt try it just because it has other ingredients in it. always check the ingredients on products even if it say 100% on the bottle

Pros Heals skin. Doesnt make me breakout. Acutally helps keep acne down. Perfect for those on Tane. Fades scars. Evens skin tone, makes skin soft and smooth. I LOVE ALOE VERA. Truly a plant from the gods.
Cons Hard to find plain old aloe vera jell. Some of the stuff in stores may decevie you becuase they have many other ingrediants in them. Always use pure aloe vera jelly.
Bottom line Once I ran out of Fruit of the Earth (which i ordered online from drugstore), I couldnt find it in stores so I got Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera. AND IT IS SO MUCH BETTER. Much more natural. I am no longer worried about the perservatives in Fruit of the Earth.

I am on Tane, and this stuff is a miracle gel. I swear to god. It has helped heal my skin, fade scars faster, heal wounds faster, make my skin eventoned and soft. I use with cetaphil, becuase I need more moisture.

Pros Great for soothing the skin and does dry up some zits without irritation
Cons Makes face feel tight at first but moisturizes the skin
Bottom line I use Lilly of the Dessert brand. More natural and has vit. a, c, and e in the product. It didn't clear me up but helped with soothing my skin. I had to get used to the gelly texture for moisturizing my face but it dried on my face well. Doesn't clogs pores, not oily at all.
