| Pros: | my treatment was for fine lines(from sun worshipping) and I couldn't believe how great the finally results were although I noticed improvement immediately (after a week)but my face got better as time went on..i love it love it love it!!!! 44yrs. old |
| Cons: | looking like a sun-burned chipmonk on steroids(puffy cheeks and eyes) but thank God that was only for a few days |
| Bottom Line: | even though its concidered expensive, I think in the long run, I probably saved money becus I was spending a fortune on expensive cosmetics and so called miracle creams for fine line. This was a sure deal for me and I got three other people loving it.I do it once a year for a fresh up. I used alot of ice on the face the first two days, benadryl for swelling and itchiness and vitamin c and e daily for healing. Sleep w/ your head elevated the first 2 nights for it really does help w/ the swelling. One of my four treatments was intense and I did blister, crack, to put it bluntly I looked God-aweful scary so if you get a very intence treatm't you may want a back up "perscription" ointment. It works like a miracle only wish I knew that at the time. But of course discuss this w/ ur Doctor. Best of luck to all :) |

| Pros: | Not sure yet |
| Cons: | A little redness and swelling |
| Bottom Line: | So....I just had my 4th Fraxel treatment and I am a little red and swollen but nothing like others have described. Makes me think that maybe it is not working?? I have had very slight improvement so far but my doctor is encouraging me to do at least 6 treatments. Should I be more red, swollen and flakey?? My doctor uses the Fraxel II machine and the level is 45. She said that is pretty intense. Any thoughts? Funny that I want to be more red, swollen and flakey...I think it is more reasurrance that it is working. I will keep you all posted on my progress! Thanks everybody for sharing! |

| Pros: | Like the fact that it is non-ablative. |
| Cons: | If you think fraxel is bad, try a C02 recovery.
All laser treatments are so overpriced! Painful too! |
| Bottom Line: | HAD TO MENTION- fraxel truly truly takes time.
A year AFTER my second fraxel, I've noticed that the cheek scarring appears less severe. My face has more of a face shape, instead of a plump thick mass of scar tissue. It just takes time.
BECAUSE I see results, I am going in for a third. I'm not looking forward to the procedure or cost, but I want to look like the normal pretty girl I am, so here I go again. |

| Pros: | hyperpigmenation less by 5-10% after the 1st tx |
| Cons: | small white rashes and itchy |
| Bottom Line: | i had my 1st tx last jan.15 on my neck and upper arms and everything well but after 2 weeks, i had small white cysts probably milia. this is probabaly the response of my skin which is hypersensitive after the laser tx. and im not gonna continue my other 3 treatments since im afraid it will even get worse. my advice for those who have filipino-asian skin, better go to a derm doctor that specializes on your skin type/race.i will just continue with my derma sweep microdermabrasion eventhough it has minimal results, at least it will not cause more harm to my skin. fraxel is the trend right now but wait till everyone is happy with it. |

| Pros: | i did notice a slight difference. but could be from my face being swollen. any improvement is good. |
| Cons: | it is expensive for how many treatments they recommend for best results. . |
| Bottom Line: | I am very vain and ill try anything to improve my skin, i.e. appearance. so if you have the money go for it. Honestly it doesn't work as well as Doctors claim it does so don't expect miracles.. |

| Pros: | Smoother skin, smaller pores, people have noticed! :) |
| Cons: | Swollen for 2-3 days after treatment, red face like a bad sunburn, skin peels and flakes for about 4-5 days...but not really bad like a chemical peel |
| Bottom Line: | I LOVE fraxel...and I plan to go back to get my neck done next. I have had 6 treatments on my face for moderate acne scarring. The swelling is worth the end result. Ice packs will definitely help with swelling and I used neosporin for the flakiness...because it got a little raw around my mouth an chin after a few days...I would put the neosporin on at night.
It is expensive but worth it. |

| Pros: | less noticeable scars, have had 8 but still not where
I want to be...after the first 5 derm kept offering more for half price....gonna go back in a month or so once i save up more money |
| Cons: | have had 8 at very high levels...smth was set at 75 my last one and still have pretty noticeable scars-but mine were very severe to start out with |
| Bottom Line: | I would research all the possible treatments before jumping in to this if you have severe acne scarring. I have paid for a lot of treatments and am still doing it and do not have smooth skin yet. I wish I had researched more treatments out there that are more invasive but riskier....at least then I might have gotten the results I wanted. I would recommend for mild to moderate acne scarring though. |

| Pros: | skin is smoother. furrows gone. pore size minimized. deep pitted acne scars less noticable. |
| Cons: | i can't really say there are any. compared to the physical and psychological scarring i've lived with my entire life, 2 weeks of redness and scaliness is worth it.thankfully, i did not experience oozing or blistering. |
| Bottom Line: | as i approach 50, the skin around my around my mouth, chin and lower cheeks began to sag much to my dismay.because of the severe acne scarring these areas looked worse than they would on a person with smooth skin. i had deep furrows, and pitted skin. i had 4 treatments, and it has taken 10-15 years of my face and the provider only charged me for the area treated, not for the entire face. |

| Bottom Line: | I had Fraxel Laser yesterday. My skin looks so red but I can see it was good for my skin. Today when I woke up and during the day I got many acne "very small" but I got many in my face and I would like to know if it is normal or not???

Thanks |
