I think flaxseed with evening primose oil are wonderful supplements to the regimin, but you have to be consistant with them. Something I have a problem with; however, the taste GAG perhaps I am buying the wrong kind. I think I have the oil from GNC

I just started taking the flax oil two days ago, so i'll let everyone know how it works out for me. I bought the oil which tastes pretty gross, so i mix it into my yogurt. I'm gonna get the ground seeds and that soon.

Flaxseed is amazing. I had been taking it in capsule form (2 1000mg capsules daily) for a long time without ever seeing an improvement in my skin. Recently, however, I read an article that said you'd have to take 14 1000mg capsules to equal the amount of omega-3 fatty acids that is in 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil!!! So I immediately switched to taking it in oil form (1 tbsp. a day in my fruit smoothie) and within a week my skin completely cleared up and is actually "glowing!" It looks so much healthier and even my mom commented on how nice my skin looks. My skin hasn't looked this good since before I hit puberty (almost 13 years ago)! You can buy a bottle of flaxseed oil at any health food store for as little as $6.99, which is a small price to pay for beautiful skin. I'm now even thinking of switching to ground flax seeds, since that is even cheaper and supplies a nice dose of fiber too. I also sprinkle the oil on my salad before adding salad dressing. It has almost no taste. You can't cook with the oil though, it has to remain refrigerated-- high heat destroys it's beneficial properties. But you can cook with the actual flax seeds, which greatly expands how you can use it. Everyone should try it!

I actually put the flaxseed oil on my face every night before bed. I have to say that my acne has cleared 80% in about 2 weeks.

I used to take flax internally every morning and evening but it didn't seem to work. So before throwing the bottle out I had this random idea to put it directly on my face. Now, I actually enjoy looking in the mirror every morning. Something I haven't enjoyed in years.

Flaxseed Oil does work
you have to be consistent
also Primrose Oil works well

Basically, the human body needs essential fatty acids.

Listen guys, you definitely need to try FLAXSEED OIL because it DOES WORK. Flaxseed is a MAJOR helper in healing the skin and it also thins the oil from the sebaceous gland. A teaspoon every 8 hours with a glass of orange juice (taste pretty nasty), with a high potency multi-vitamin once a day, Acidophilus 1 Billion or more Organisms twice a day, and 3mg Garlic Oil liquid caps once a day and you WILL see a difference. Other basic stuff is make sure you drink lots of water during the day and get lots of rest. This is as close as your going to get to a CURE! TRUST ME!!!!!!
