I have been using the capsules but they don't work great. Is the liquid really that much better than the capsules?

I love this stuff, it has been excellent for my skin. I take 1 tablespoon a day in my yogourt and also apply it to my face everynight. If my face is dry or irritated from winter or a new face wash or whatever circumstance I try to apply it twice a day or whenever my skin starts feeling extra irritated or over dry, however if you have plans to go out or put on makeup or both I wouldnt reccomend applying this beforehand , its more of a stay at home or nightly treatment. However washing it off is an option to but Ifind it to work best when left on over a longer period of time and applied in generous amounts.
my skin is very sensitive and I have pretty severe acne but this hasnt irritated or caused any breakouts if anything it soothes my current breakouts. As far as i have seen taking 1 tbsp a day hasnt made a difference in my skin after 3 weeks, so i began applying it to my face and that has helped but i still take the tbsp a day because overall flaxseed oil is super good for you. So i HIGHLY reccomend trying both the tbsp or 2 a day in say yogourt our whatever other food your would like to try it in ( however do not cook with it or place on hot foods) and trying to apply directly to skin. The key is to experiment and try to see what feels right for your skin and trying with natural products first is definitly better than jumping for the most powerful destructive pills or creams ^___^

had been taking flaxseed capsules after working out to help reduce acid buildup in my muscles and read it could help with acne too so i have been taking 2 tablespoons a day for the last 2 weeks. it didnt do anything for me :-( . i just started the clear skin regime a day or two ago and im continuing the falxseed oil so hopefully the two compined will show great results for me. i dont have serious acne, but serious enough to hurt my confidence and self esteem.

I started taking 1 tablespoon morning and night a month ago as a supplement for my workout routine. Besides being a great source of healthy fats, I have to say that my skin has really shown improvement. Washing my face today my skin felt so smooth and looked glowing. I used to have tons of tiny whiteheads all over my face and very patchy, sensitive cheeks. I do have one zit under my chin but it is that time of the month and nothing can really stop me from breaking out then =( Anyways, I give flax oil thumbs up. Take with a chaser of diet soda and the taste is tolerable. I use Barlean's Organic Flaxseed Oil from Sprouts Market here in AZ. It is fresh and slightly nutty tasting. If your oil is fishy tasting get a refund because it's going bad.

I have been taking 1 tablespoon for about 2 weeks. My skin is much clearer than it was, although I am still getting a few breakouts. I am going to up my intake to 1 tablespoon in the morning and 1 in the evening. I really think it will do wonders!

I took ground flaxseed every day for about a month. I took about 6-8 tablespoons a day, which was also about 12-16 grams of fiber a day. Each serving (1 tablespoon) provides about 2400 milligrams of Omega-3's. I also took about 2 capsules of Multi-Omega a day which supplied Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9. Within a month my face cleared up about 90%, which was the best it has looked in about 6 years. I stopped taking the flaxseed for about a month, and believe it or not, my face broke out!!! I am getting ready to start taking it again. You can buy you a bag and take about 4 tablespoons a day and it will last you about 3 weeks for only about $4.99. This stuff is definitely worth the money...not only for acne, but also for a lot of other health benefits!!! AT LEAST TRY IT, AND DON'T BUY THE CHEAP STUFF, GO TO YOUR LOCAL HEALTH STORE!!!

I have suffered from this horrible disease for about 20 years now. It comes and goes, but when I have breakouts it is just horrible. I am 34 years old and have tried EVERYTHING. I think I could have bought a house with all the $$$$ I pumped into skincare over the years. Roaccutane helped for a bit, but it came back. I would bet a million dollars I am resistant to doxycycline and erythromycin after allt he courses I have had. Microdermabrasion, acid peels and even IPL - but the acne is still here. In fact last week I had the worst date of my life. Not because of the guy, but because I had a huge cystic zit on my chin that I was paranoid about all night. I had to cover it up as best I could then plan where I would sit - just in case the light made it look even bigger than it already was.

So, to that end, I am currently on a major detox (juices only for 3 days) in an attempt to detox my body. A central part of this latest quest to rid myself of the dreaded disease is to start supplementing with flaxseed oil. I will post back in a couple of weekss to let you know how I go.
