| Cons | -Developed Rashes after 1 hour of taking this. I've never had a dry skin problem, and this made me itch. |
| Bottom line | I called my dermatologist and he told me that some people get an allergic reaction to Flaxseed oil, so perhaps I will try to fish-based omega 3 capsules instead. I've never had a skin problem to begin with, so I regret buying it! |

| Cons | I'm over 40 and in perimenopause. Within a week of taking just one capsule a day my skin broke out like a teen's, especially on my chin/jawline. I also found that my cheeks and nose were flushing way more often. (I have mild rosacea). |
| Bottom line | I think it's best for those women in perimenopause to say clear of flax oil. I did research and found it has a stronger form of estrogen than even soy does. (Taking flax oil would be adding more estrogen to those women who are already estrogen-dominant). |

| Bottom line | I have been taking this for about two weeks mainly for psoriasis of the scalp. The amount varies everyday, sometimes I take 4 pills a day, sometimes just 1. The directions say to take 6 huge pills a day, and I just can't stomach that. What have I noticed? Well, nothing. Maybe because I'm not taking enough, but neither my psoriasis or my skin has been greatly helped by this product. I get better results (healing wise) from 500IUD of vitamin E at bedtime, to tell you the truth. I have never really found any supplement that prevents acne, although I have heard good things about high doses of vitamin A (but then you're essentially taking a poor form of accutane, and this is very dangerous without medical supervision.) |

| Pros | Although it did not clear up my skin completely (Ive only been taking it a week), it DEFINATELY showed some results! I would have to agree with a lot that my skin is about 80% clearer. |

| Cons | I have the oil and need to mix it with yogurt or I cannot take it. I tried just drinking it and gagged :/ . The yogurt works well with me. |
| Bottom line | I have had problems with my skin for as long as I can remember. My skin has lots of little bumps and I started breaking out on my neck and so I figured Id give flaxseed oil a try. DEFINATELY worth it! It has evened out my skin and there are no more bumps on my neck and as a woman, I dont have to wear powder cover up anymore!!! If you are skeptical, please just try it, it will work! |

| Cons | The taste is a little hard to get used to, but I take 2 Tbsp. of the highest lignan oil daily and chase it with a drink. |

| Cons | I do not use the oil since I can not tolerate the oily consistency and smell. The capsules are not worth taking since you have to take so many more to equal the value of the oil. |
| Bottom line | I have been using ground flax seed for the last few months as part of my new regime to take better care of my skin. It is more cost effective and not bothersome to me at all to consume as opposed to the oil and capsules available. I just sprinkle some on top of my yogurt or cereal daily (a total of 1T daily). I drink lemon water, use lemon juice topically, add flax seed to my diet, and follow the cleansing advice from this web site precisley. I have stopped taking my amoxicillan capsules and have mostly clear skin now. I am thrilled !! I am in my late 30's and have had moderate but very consisten acne since I was 13. I had medical treatment a few different times through my adult years. Only antibiotics would clear me up, the topicals were really useless to me. Since I knew I could not remain on medication too long, I felt doomed to have bad skin forever. It is a horrible feeling ! I am grateful and feeling like I have finally let a major worry in my life go. Amazing!! I am not a bad |
