Pros better mood
skin was slightley softer
Cons gave me AWFUL breakouts
(see below)
Bottom line i know its very healthy for you but i took this for a week (i know i shouldve taken longer to see if it was coincidence but i dont think it was) and it broke me out awful. of the seven days i got 5 MASSSIVE pimples that, not to be gross, were very puss-filled and took a while for them to go away because everytime i thought they were popped there was more. im glad this works wonders for some but i didn't for me. and im a 17 year old male

Pros soft clean skin
reduces redness in hyperpigmentation
natural way to clear acne
Cons needs to be taken throughout the day with meals for best results
Bottom line I have always suffered from periodic breakouts that would leave stubborn red marks on my face for months and months. After reading so many great reviews on fish oil i decided to give it a try and i am so happy that i did. Within a week the red marks on my face began getting smaller and smaller, and after one month, my skin has really brightened and evened out. I have tried some different whitening creams that simply did not work but fish oil has really made a difference in my complexion and it is getting better day by day. I also recommend evening prim rose oil because it shares the anti inflammatory properties that fish oil has and it also works great for clearing acne and eczema!

Pros Cleared up my eczema
I a lot more healthy since taking the fish oil caps
No fishy after taste or "fish burps"
Cons I haven't seen a reduction in my acne
Bottom line Started taking these when I heard how amazing fish oil is for skin. I have pretty bad adult acne right now for the first time in my life. I also suffer from eczema all over my face (around my eyes, on my chin and down my neck) I have been suffering from eczema for the past two years and seemed to be spreading all over my face and at exactly the same time, I started getting sever acne. So I started taking fish oil and within a month all of my eczema as cleared up. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my acne.

Pros *The first thing that has noticeably and consistently worked for me.
*Fairly easily accessible
Cons *Needs to be high quality
*Takes time to work (or it did for me)
*Not an instant cure, give it at least a month
*None that outweigh having clear skin!
Bottom line I have fought with acne since I was 12, but at 18 it basically exploded. For the last 3 years I have tried to kick this thing but have had no real success.

Improvement started when I began using flaxseeds (also containing omega 3) and with the addition of fish oil about 3 months ago, the difference is truly remarkable. My skin has continually gotten better, and my nearly severe acne and horrid skin quality is now almost normal looking.

I started with less and upped the dosage to the current 4 1000mg pills per day, though I may raise this as it seems to do only good. My skin is still not perfect, but with these pills and eating oily fish several times a week my skin is better than I can remember. My scars heal with time and although I still get some tiny blackheads and little white pimples in my trouble areas, I am fully confident that I will soon be acne free.

It is worth noting that this did take time, and was not an amazing, clear-in-one-week, instant cure though this may be because my hormones are particularly out of whack.

Make sure that it is a high quality fish oil. Although they are cheaper, basic ones from drug stores may be just that; cheap. Try to find something from a natural foods store that is of a better quality and I think it makes a big difference (I take wild Alaskan salmon oil).

I also eat very healthy so that may also help, but bottom line: this has worked for me and virtually cleared me of years of acne and acne scars. Well worth a try I'd say!

Pros Freaking amazing, I can't begin to say how much I love this stuff.

I take 2 a day, 1000MG Each.

Improves my mood, I notice I am much happier after taking these.

My hyperpigmentation is going away, not amazingly fast, but its very noticeable that they are going away, and its only been..14 days or so? Probably less.

HUGE reduction in pimples, use to get 2 or 3 a day, now I get one every...4 days? I just got my first one in 4 days last night.
Cons None, I don't even have those "Fish burps" that people mention.
Bottom line Buy it 100%.

Pros healthy
reduces inflamation
good to skin
Cons a little expensive
doesn't eliminate acne
Bottom line I eat fish oil every day and it has helped my skin a lot. My skin is not clear, but the fish oil prevents zits to grow enormous. It calms down infection in the skin.

I also noticed that I have become a little more happy after I started eating the oil, but then again - who knows if that is the reason..

Pros Healthy to take
Good for fading acne scars
Cons This was really the first product that I've tried (and I've tried alooooot of products over the years) that has made me breakout. I was disappointed after reading some of these reviews.
Bottom line If it doesn't break you out then I would highly recommend it. Even if it doesn't help your acne, it's still healthy to have daily.

Pros skin less oily (not dry either, even in upstate NY weather), red marks/hyper-pigmentation is noticeably fading, no more new acne!
Cons well, there is some new acne -- but while I usually get nasty pimples that leave horrible marks on my cheeks, I have had ZERO!! I have gotten a pimple here and there (although, it is that time of the month) but they are much less scary
Bottom line About a year and a half ago I went through a "eat a tuna wrap everyday" phase, which lasted about 4 months -- my skin was at its absolute best, but I just assumed it was because I was eating better in general. Once I got to college I stopped the whole tuna thing and my skin got progressively worse. I never thought it was the tuna though! It took me about a year to realize, after reading these fish oil reviews, that THAT was a major contributor to my clear skin. About two weeks ago I started taking three fish oil pills a day (2 in the morning, 1 at night). Now, I also take 1 multivitamin a day and 1 Vitex morning and night. I'm a big fan of supplements and holistic medicine, so I am loving this natural route to (hopefully) cure my acne.
