| Pros: | Cleared my existing acne within the first week. Made my skin less oily and much softer. Good for memory and concentration. Overall a good supplement to take. |
| Cons: | Fish burps, but what's that compared to the agony of acne. |
| Bottom Line: | I have tried a lot of different things, and this is the only thing that has lasting results (if taken daily). I was taking fish oil religiously for a while and saw amazing results. I wasn't sure if it was the fish oil, my face wash, or my multi-vitamin, so I stopped taking the fish oil for a week just as a test and things got bad fast. I started taking the fish oil again and within a week I was almost 100% clear again. I suggest taking 2,000mg in the morning and another 2,000mg at night along with a gentle face wash and a muli-vitamin supplement. |

| Pros: | Worked really fast, clear my acne, unclogged pores, lightened spots. |
| Cons: | I've had a couple fishy burps. |
| Bottom Line: | I drink a shot of apple cider vinegar, take 4- 1000mg fish oil tablets and 1 multivitamin with A,C,E selenium and zinc twice a day. The acv improved my complexion alot on its own. far fewer inflamed zits- a couple every couple weeks instead of every couple days. I added the fish oil and multivitamin and redness, post-acne marks have faded in just a few days and my pores are totally clearing and shrinking. over all tone has improves a bunch. I give most credit to the fich oil. I'm very happy with the results. I don't even wash my face with soap anymore. And my skin is far less oily. I'm very happy. |

| Pros: | Makes your skin look very healthy. It reduces oil, but not so much that your skin dries up. Makes oil on skin feel more creamy than oily, very soft to the touch. Significantly fewer bigger zits |
| Cons: | Does little for blackheads, takes about a week for it to fully work. |
| Bottom Line: | I take between 6-8 of Carlson brand 1000mg pills a day depending on how much I eat. They can make you burp, just stick them in the freezer and you'll be fine. These in addition to Zinc daily has done more good for my complexion than any antibiotics ever did. I don't even use any benzoyl peroxide or acne face wash anymore, just plain soap. Also good overall for your body, I definately notice an increase in brain function. |

| Pros: | Cleared up my skin faster than anything else I've ever tried and its good for your whole body. And its cheap! |
| Cons: | Its kind of a big pill to swallow, but it is a gel cap and shaped to go down smoothly. (which it does) |
| Bottom Line: | I'm a 24 soon to be 25 year old female and I've been struggling with severe ance for 10-15 years. I have been on everything! Any cream you can think of, antibiotics, birth control, everything except accutane and nothing has helped clear up my acne completely and worked as quickly as fish oil. I only take one a day (1000mg) and I've been taking it for about a week. I've only had one new pimple, which was very small, and my acne that was there faded more and more everyday. I still wash my face every morning and night and apply a benzoil peroxide and I could not be happier! I would recommend this to everyone. Its also cheap, I bought a bottle of 100 for $5-$6. |

| Pros: | I am a 25 year old male. I have had acne for the past 10 -12 years. I started using Dan's regimen and i had some benefits. However, adding fish oil to my diet has gotten rid of my acne COMPLETELY! Its true! |
| Cons: | None ...other than the fact that to see any effects...you have to use heavy doses. I take 20 capsules every day...each capsule has 1000mg of fish oil. |
| Bottom Line: | Try fish oil guys...its very cheap. You can buy a bottle with 400 caps for around 15-20$ in Walgreens/CVS etc. I started supplementing with fish oil as part of my body building diet and it was a very pleasant surprise when my acne cleared off. I have been acne free for about 2 months. Fish oil also has healthy unsaturated fats...so its good for heart, hair etc. But note that i had been using fish oil/flax seed oil before but i used to only have couple of caps per day which did nothing for my acne. For fish oil to work..you have to use a large dose.I use 20*1000mg per day. |

| Pros: | Works well on acne and great for your health. Unlike face washes and cream applications, taking pills is essentially effortless. |
| Cons: | High-dose pills are very intimidating to swallow, and it's not easy to haul big fish oil pills around to take at mealtime. |
| Bottom Line: | I'm one of those "tried everything" types. Gradually moved up to stronger and different antibiotics, and nothing worked. Face washes and topical treatments dried out my face, especially during Minnesota winters. I considered Accutane, but I was tired of putting chemicals into my body; at some point it's no longer worth the positive effects, right?
I tried fish oil on a whim one day, years after I stopped taking antibiotics. Growing up had only partially cured my acne, but fish oil pills literally cleared my face after three or four doses. Sounds crazy, but it's true. My skin is no longer extremely oily, either.
I use fish oil together with Erno Laszlo products, which I put on at night. I had used the Erno Laszlo stuff for several years and it had helped a lot but never got rid of everything. Adding fish oil all but solved by acne problems. |

| Pros: | So worth taking. It helped my daughter in a couple of weeks. Buy it you won't be sorry. GNC fish Oil 300mg |
| Cons: | None |
| Bottom Line: | I tried everything. We did the antibotics plus the wash faithfully. Then one of our friends told us about fish oil and I was willing to try it. It was the best $10.00 I've spent. I bought the 300 mg because they sell alot of the 1000mg but I didn't want it to be too much. Take just one a day of the 300mg from GNC. |
