Pros: Worked quickly; prevented and cleared skin of large under-the-skin painful pimples; made my face feel healthy Cons: Made my face so oily I couldn't stand it, enlarged pores and created more blackheads, started to get lots of white heads Bottom Line: This product worked great at first but then my face just became too oily. I have been using just the face wash and toner with a 10% benzyl peroxide which seems to be working, but I am still not 100% happy. If my face wasn't so oily this would have been the product for me! Pros: I am going to use Proactive Cons: NA Bottom Line: Please suggest how good is proactive.I have bought the proactive acne treatment ,I have received it today But I havenot used it till now.Please suggest ,Shall I go ahead and use this or shall I return it back and buy some other product. Pros: Its hard to tell how well it works being that Ive been on overpiced systems for months now. The cleanser smelt quite nice. The toner really opened the pores well. Cons: Always had new acne! Never prevented acne or helped improve prior breakouts. I followed the system like a religion and no results. This system worked ok, but never finished the job. 5 zits on my face alone at all times Bottom Line: Should have worked better than it did. Fundamentally it has the makings of a good acne system. Im wondering how well the day time and night time serums work and if they actually do anything. The cleanser wasnt to bad, as well as the toner. I wouldnt recommend this as it is expensive and its "Guarentee" didnt work in my case. Save your money, Im beginning to think its a waste of time/money and maybe I should just use over the counter products if it wont make a difference either way Usage: Andros Kimmell has used this item for a few months. Pros: Makes skin softer, makes it clear Cons: Dries your skin after few uses, pricey, doesnt prevent breakouts Bottom Line: Ive been using it for 3 weeks now, skin improved, i get less pimples (usually had around 3-4 each day) now like 1 or 2 every few days. Softer and more clear, less rednes. However, I started to get dry skin. Doesnt stop breakouts. Also, after 3 weeks my skin got abit red, which is sad to see :( .... but still better than before. You can try it, this is only thing that did any good to my skin, all others failed... i tried heaps. Recommended: Yes Usage: Miio has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: It has made my skin the most clear it has ever been in my life. Not only clear but I'm beginning to notice smoother and healthier looking skin. Cons: Price, consistency of some of the creams can be unfortunate Bottom Line: I've tried over the counter acne medications and while they all worked to a certain degree, none could get me to that level were I was happy and confident with my skin. Proactive worked for a little while and would clear up acne that appeared but didn't do the greatest job of stopping acne from appearing (especially in my T-Zone). I decided to try exposed instead of buying more Proactive and I couldn't be happier. My skin looks and feels great and I haven't had a breakout of any kind in over a month. My only issue is the consistency of some of the creams, the pore clearing one specifically. It's gross and makes your skin feel strange while its wet but it dries quickly and all the bad goes away. If your on the fence, just do it cause its the best acne related decision I've ever made. In regards to skin irritation, I haven't had any issues at all but that may be because I can straight from Proactive which can be a little harsh also. Pros: Moderately priced kit Cons: Irritated my skin worse than anything I've tried before Bottom Line: For about 6 months my breakouts have been getting progressively worse. Had been using Proactive but it seemed to stop working. Tried Neutrogena Acne Stress Control line and Clean & Clear Advantage kit, nothing seemed to work. Tried Exposed and the first couple of days my skin seemed to be getting better. The blemishes were clearing up and my skin tone was improving. I was getting pretty excited thinking I finally found the miracle product...but after about one week, I got SEVERE breakouts on the sides of my forehead, chin, cheeks, and jawline. My left cheek was covered in not only pimples, but red splotches as if I had some kind of allergic reaction. My face was burning and itching. I stopped using Exposed immediately and am still searching for something that will work. Recommended: No Usage: Dabberjo has used this item for about a week. Pros: I thought it was working well in the first 5 days Cons: It wasn't doing anything really. Bottom Line: I thought I saw a change, then after 3 weeks of use all good signs dropped off. My scars were a deep purple and not getting any better, my blackheads were getting bigger and more abundant, AND my acne was back. Bummer! I had switched from proactive which I had used for 7 years and had suddenly stopped helping. Then after I mailed exposed skin care back I resorted back to that darn proactive and IT STARTED WORKING again. It still doesn't CLEAR up my acne but it helps immensely. So, that is why I am on acne.org. I would love to spend my hard earned money on something that doesn't just help, but something that CLEARS my darn skin! Pros: Great products, Clears Acne fast, inexpensive Cons: Wish i could buy it at the mall! Bottom Line: I had such a bad experience with other treatments but my best friend was using exposed so i gave it a try when we were on vacation. After only 3 days i was sold and ordered the deluxe kit online. When i got back to vancouver it was waiting for me. Two weeks later i was almost perfectly clear.
